The aim of this dissertation is to provide the first systematic account of the reception of Kant's thought in contemporary French philosophy. The inquiry covers a period spanning from the 1850s, when the three Critiques are translated into French and criticism begins to spread with-in the university, until the 1980s, which are the background of the last great debates on the Kantian legacy. However, this work is not content with producing a chronological doxography of the main interpretations of Kant. On the contrary, by combining historical contextualization and theoretical scrutiny, it seeks to understand them in light of the philosophical, disciplinary, scientific and political stakes that affected the evolution of French thought. Special attention is therefore paid to the intellectual contexts that serve as a background to this reception, in order to better understand the role played by Kant in shaping the national philosophical tradition, especially with regard to the relations with Germany and, in France, between philosophy and the sciences. The research, which belongs to the field of the history of philosophy, borrows tools from the history of ideas and intellectual history, without neglecting the specificity and the autonomy of the philosophical debates. The main objective is to fill an important historiographical gap, while also reflecting on the continuities and discontinuities marking the history of contemporary French thought and on the genesis of national philosophical traditions in a European context.
Zola-pastiches are a sign of reception of Zola's literary works. More than a centuryafter his death, his style is still targeted by the authors of this type of rewriting. Our researchposes the problem of mimetic or differential appropriation of Zola-pastiches posterior to hisdeath. How the author of Les Rougon-Macquart is imitated in these pastiches is our mainresearch question. A pastiche is a writing that implies a textual repeat characterized by theexistence of two types of texts: the hypertext (derived text) and the hypotext (source text). Acomparative approach linked to the theories of intertextuality and hypertextuality has enabledus to discover that the imitators of Zola draw inspiration from his writings and also from thewritings of other authors. They thus produce pastiches with single, double or multiplehypotexts. The distinction between Zola-pastiches is also based on their internal (literary) orexternal (political, advertising) aim. The authors of pastiches with external aims documentthe social facts of their era just like Zola did in his novels. Some authors show a literaryengagement by attacking political leaders but indirectly. In addition to their aims, theirrepresentation of Zola's style diversifies their writings. Each writer conforms to someimitation rules which are generally related to the principles of similarities and differences. Some pastiches are therefore move creative and/or more representative of Zola's style thanothers. The Zola-pastiches written during the 20th and at thebeginning of the 21st centuries therefore appear to be a critical analysis of these works as wellas the criticism of the partial or one-sided criticism that preceded the renewed interest in thereading of the author of Medan's texts. The imbrication of stylistic devices and themesborrowed from Zola and adapted to new contexts shows that the literary style convokes theidiosyncratic and sociologic dimensions of an author's specific way of writing, given that, style is not an abstract phenomenon but a series of formal and thematic choices which arehistorically located and whose imitation is highly determined by representations.

; In this thesis, I suggest ways effective altruism (EA) can integrate the ideas behind the criticisms addressed to it by the institutional critique (IC) regarding its way of tackling global poverty. I will argue that the tension between the two approaches is better understood by considering two classical debates in moral and political philosophy: the debate between moral cosmopolitanism and institutional cosmopolitanism, and the debate between utilitarianism and deontological approaches. I defend that EA holds a utilitarian moral cosmopolitan view while the IC holds a deontological institutional cosmopolitan view. These two frameworks serve three purposes: they will help us to understand the EA's and the IC's respective moral framework; they will help us to better understand the criticisms addressed to effective altruism and the reasons behind these criticisms, and they will guide the assessment I make of the criticisms. The first two chapters are dedicated to the debate between utilitarianism and the deontological approaches. The first one is related to the conception of the morally desirable, while the second focuses on the relation to harm. The last chapter addresses the debate between the two types of cosmopolitism. Each chapter is divided into two parts. In the first one, I present the EA's conception of the theme of the chapter. In the second part, I present the IC's conception, the criticisms it addresses to the EA, and the assessment I make of each criticism. In the first chapter, I demonstrate that EA holds a utilitarian conception of the morally desirable but adapted to the constraints of reality and to global poverty. This conception has three main features: welfarism, maximization, the utilitarian equity principle. I then present how the morally desirable conception of the way to tackle global poverty defended by the IC is better explained by its deontological conception. I finish by presenting the six criticisms that the IC addresses to EA regarding their three features before assessing them. In the second chapter, I first demonstrate how EA does not address in a sustained fashion the question of harm. I then present how the deontological conception held by the IC makes them focus mainly on avoiding and repairing harm. I finish the chapter by presenting four criticisms related to the harm that EA does to the global poor before assessing them. In the final chapter, I present EA's moral cosmopolitan view. I then answer three questions related to what type of entity is responsible to tackle global poverty: What causes global poverty? Who is in the best position to alleviate global poverty? How demanding should the moral duty be on individuals? In the second part, I present the institutional cosmopolitan view held by the IC before presenting the three answers that the IC gives to the three questions just mentioned as well as the three criticisms they address to the EA's answers to these questions.
This thesis deals with textual criticism and is dedicated to chapter 58 of the Book of Isaiah. This chapter of the Trito-Isaiah is particularly characterized by infrequent words and a topic present only in these verses: the theme of the fast. Our study deals with six textual witnesses represented by the Hebrew text (1QIsaa and MT), the Septuagint and the textual traditions of the Old Latin, the Vulgate and the Targum. Based on four chapters with a thematic structure which recalls the prophetic plea, this thesis involves a statistical approach, a syntactical analysis, the study of lexical fields, and finally theological tendencies specific to each textual witness. Thus, each textual tradition reflects another step of the theological thinking and also a different socio political context. The Hebrew text contains rare terms, sometimes difficult to explain. The ancient traditions meet with editorial requirements specific to each language, and also reveal editorial options. If the Vulgate shows a great fidelity to the Hebrew text, the Septuagint is quite different. The Alexandrian redactor demonstrates a real editorial originality by changing the rhetoric of the Hebrew text, introducing stylistic device and simplifying the vocabulary. The targumic redactor, for his part, introduces significant modifications, either to avoid giving the Lord anthropomorphic characters or when his omnipotence could be put into question. He also emphasizes the explicative nature of the text with syntagma insertions. Finally, each translator introduces his own theological perspectives.

'Philosophy of science: Auguste Comte', Studies gathered by Annie Petit published with the 'Maison Auguste Comte' and the competition of the University of Paris IV, Revue philosophique de la France et de l'tranger, Paris, Publishing PUF, 2007, 132th year, Tome CXCVII, pp. 419-525. National audience The book is not intended as a report or hagiographic reading of Auguste Comte's work, 150 years after his death. The objective is to analyse the categories used by Auguste Comte in its philosophy of science. The collective book consists of an introduction and six chapters, the first two analysing Auguste Comte's difficult report to the academic institution and in particular to the Academy of Sciences. The other four contributions discuss the relevance of certain Comtian epistemological categories, which sometimes demonstrate a desire to form a coherent view on the classification of science and sometimes create obstacles in the scientific field concerned.
; In the authoritarian Soviet regime of the Brezhnev era, there were no feminist or patients' mobilizations around gynecology similar to those known in the West. However, in the early 1980s, some feminist dissidents seized this issue in underground publications that remained very confidential in the USSR (the Women and Russia and Maria samizdats). Later on, during perestroika, the popular women's magazine Rabotnitsa published a great number of letters to the editor that conveyed testimonies and claims extremely similar to those expressed by the feminist dissidents. The present article is based on these two corpuses of sources. The feminist dissidents and the readers of Rabotnitsa protested against a lack of contraceptives resulting in repeated abortions, and a lack of anesthesia during abortions and childbirths. They also targeted the indifference and "cruelty" of understaffed, overwhelmed healthcare workers, providing "assembly line" care. Some wrote about gynecological "tortures". More generally, these ordinary and feminist criticisms dealt with the underfunding of the healthcare system. After examining Soviet sexual and reproductive health policies, the article analyses how frustrations commonly shared by gynecology patients were put into discourses and politicized. Furthermore, international comparisons allow us to put these discourses into perspective, and to question their unthought aspects. ; Peer reviewed
Health Professionals and Researchers are increasingly concerned about precarious populations who, despite an unfavourable state of health, are "distant" from the care system or "not using" care. These situations are surprising and question the effectiveness of the measures designed to promote access to care for all. How, therefore, can they be understood? The interviews we conducted in the French context with the individuals concerned show how they explain and live in these situations. While some are reverting on the obstacles that keep them away from the care system, others insist on the willingness to take care of their own health. It is on autonomy and its different meanings that we will come back in particular, as it makes it possible to shed light from a different angle on the non-use of care.
