Este trabalho trata de uma revisão bibliográfica preliminar de pesquisa sobre o passo do frevo, manifestação carnavalesca da cultura popular pernambucana, com a intenção de investigar as transformações nessa dança, seus percursos de escolarização e espetacularização e as implicações estéticas e políticas desse processo. De dança marginal e alvo de perseguição de elites, a dança do frevo tornou-se expressão cultural emblemática de Pernambuco. A pesquisa em andamento procura investigar a temática com base na compreensão do contexto histórico e social do surgimento e desenvolvimento desta manifestação (MENEZES NETO, 2014), da criação de métodos de aprendizado de dança popular (VICENTE, 2009) e do conceito de espetacularização (DEBORD, 1996), (CARVALHO, 2010), entre outros.
Some of the new educational practices are taking place both inside and outside the school, and their operation is being directed towards the production of new subjectivities and the establishment of some kind of relation with the "government of men". Thus, the purpose of this text is to explore some of the possibilities of Michel Foucault's thinking for the analysis and understanding of current schools, by examining the changes that are taking place now, either in and with the educative practices, or within the relations between in-school education and those new and odd configurations being incorporated by the contemporary world. All this is understood within the wide range of new forms that governmentality seems to be assuming in the latest decades. O artigo apresenta o estado da arte acerca da eficácia coletiva de professores. Esse conceito deriva da teoria social cognitiva de Bandura, que considera as crenças de eficácia como as bases da agência humana, assim como descreve quatro fontes que sustentam seu desenvolvimento. As percepções de eficácia coletiva são definidas como os julgamentos dos professores de uma escola de que o seu conjunto dos professores é capaz de organizar e executar os cursos de ação exigidos para se conseguirem resultados positivos junto aos alunos. São relatados os modos pelos quais se pode mensurar esse constructo bem como as pesquisas sobre suas relações com desempenho dos alunos e com a autoeficácia individual dos professores. Por último, é mostrado como o desenvolvimento de eficácia coletiva tem um papel relevante, consideradas as condições do momento atual da escola brasileira.

El modelo muestra que si la economía no está creciendo, la financiación con deuda constituye un factor adicional de perturbación a la estabilidad macroeconómica.

La introducción de Seebohm Rowntree de la pobreza primaria como representación de los más pobres de los pobres en el siglo XIX proporcionó el ímpetu que simplificó la complicada naturaleza de la pobreza y, asimismo, planteó preguntas sobre la generalización de su contexto. Las críticas sobre la naturaleza y el método de Rowntree han dominado la literatura de la pobreza; sin embargo, muchos de los científicos sociales también afirman que las contribuciones innovadoras del trabajo de Rowntree son fundamentales para la política gubernamental y las instituciones orientadas a la pobreza. Tras el lanzamiento de los datos de Rowntree sobre la pobreza primaria de la clase trabajadora en York, ha habido varios intentos de cómo modificar, enriquecer e incluso desacreditar los hallazgos de Rowntree y todos estos esfuerzos allanan el camino para la transformación gradual de varios niveles de pobreza, medidas que han proporcionado tantos datos a los gobiernos en el mundo de hoy.
Abstract: Ideology has a twofold sense in advertising. One is general and aims to standardize the consumers' needs and traits by globalized means to persuade them to buy the products. The other is specific whereby the advertisement campaigns can introduce, reinforce and /or challenge some ideological values as of politics, religion, race and gender. To sell globally, advertisements are translated into other languages. This requires adjusting the ideological values to the Target Language (TL) audience. When the ideological dimension of the TL is given priority, transcreation, instead of translation per se, becomes the best choice. Unlike the traditional translator who is expected to be faithful to the Source Language (SL), the transcreator should always maintain proximity to the TL ideology so as to avoid unwanted sensitivities of the TL audience and should adopt creative ideas in order to achieve resonance in the TL. The present paper aims to investigate the implications of advertising ideology for transcreation into Arabic. The global advertisement campaigners seem to be aware that Arabic and Islam represent a unified ideology represented in values of national identity, politics and gender. Most transcreation of these campaigns have achieved both proximity to the TL audience and creativity of ideas that do not clash with the ideological status quo in the Arab World. But despite the laudable reputation of transcreation nowadays in the Translation Studies literature as the best strategy of advertisement translation, it looks like it cannot escape the twofold sense of ideology in those texts. While it does embrace diversity of ideological values of SL and TL, an advertisement campaign transcreation is unable to outbalance the general and more solid ideology of standardizing the consumers' needs and motives.
En los últimos años, ha aumentado considerablemente el número de publicaciones que ilustran actuaciones educativas en espacios excepcionales de proyección profesional, como aquellas que necesitan los menores enfermos y/u hospitalizados, no sólo desde el punto de vista físico o médico, sino también desde el psicológico y educativo. Concretamente, como parte del abordaje integral de las situaciones de atención a necesidades educativas especiales en los hospitales, surgen las aulas hospitalarias; entornos de enseñanza-aprendizaje que, dadas sus características peculiares de espacio y ubicación, demandan una intervención psicopedagógica eficaz, diferente de la ordinaria. El presente trabajo pretende ser una contribución en esta dirección, centrando su atención, primero, en descifrar el sentido de la Psicopedagogía en el contexto hospitalario. A este respecto, la literatura deja constancia de que la intervención psicopedagógica en las aulas hospitalarias cobra sentido e importancia al tener, como objetivo último, ayudar a reforzar y apoyar psicológica y educativamente los procesos de enfermedad y hospitalización infantil, con el fin de conseguir la mayor normalización en la vida del paciente y su familia. A continuación, el artículo profundiza en el estudio de una formación adecuada para el profesional de la Psicopedagogía Hospitalaria, identificando cuatro clusters de competencias: competencias pedagógico-didácticas, competencias político-institucionales, competencias interactivas y competencias específicas. Por último, recoge las principales implicaciones educativas del trabajo en este contexto, perfilando propuestas para la acción.
The essential aim of this study is to discuss the most important features of the "Washington Consensus" or neoliberal policies, and its main repercussions in the social and economic spheres. This article presents a critical view of the neoliberal measures that have increased inequality, and have resulted in less effective mechanisms to achieve economic and political inclusion within the context of updated social conditions. The political support for conception, implementation and assessment of the "Washington Consensus" has being instituted in the wellbeing and better living conditions of the more powerful social groups. Relationships of neoliberalism and globalization are discussed here as well. Introduction: There are very few studies of all-women teams performing in highly challenging isolated, confined, and extreme environments. Objective: To evaluate individual stressors, coping methods, and team functioning over an extended highly challenging trek. Methods: Subjects in this study were six British military officers who successfully traversed the Antarctic continent on skis over a 61-day 1700 km trek. The measures administered and their timing were as follows: Pre-expedition - Multidimensional Personality Questionnaire-Brief Form (MPQ-BF); Triarchic Psychopathy Measure (TriPM); Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ); Expedition - weekly rating form (WRF) assessing stress, coping, and team decision making; Post-expedition - debriefing interview and PVQ. Results: The group had high scores on personality scales indicating traits of Achievement, Social Closeness, Absorption (imagination), and Boldness, although individual differences were evident. Subjects gave high ratings to PVQ Hedonism (pleasure), Stimulation, and Self-direction values; the Tradition value was rated low. Subjects reported primarily positive experiences on the ice, and used both cognitive and behavioral coping methods to deal with stress. A salient issue was resolving individual goals among team members vs. team goals in the pace and distance covered each day. Other themes related to the importance of honesty in communication for team success, dealing with friction between two dominant individuals, and proving oneself through the physical challenge. Discussion: The implications of these findings for a Mars mission include the importance of enhancing the effectiveness of both pre-flight training and the countermeasures developed for use during flight to deal with interpersonal and work performance stressors. The effective use of ground-based analogs such as expedition teams operating in challenging and extreme environments is discussed.
As a developing country, China always considers its relations with other developing countries as the foundation of its foreign policies. It adheres to the principle of pursuing equality, mutual benefits, effectiveness and common development. Its relationship with Latin America and the Caribbean, dating back to a long time ago, is part of the South-South cooperation that has benefited both sides. In discussing Sino-Latin American relations, we note three factors, namely, the Latin American factor in China's development, the China factor in Latin American development, and the U.S. factor in Sino-Latin American relations. Latin America is important for China economically, politically and diplomatically. China's rise in the world stage has been making contributions to Latin America in many ways, and the Sino-Latin American relationship poses no threat to any third party. ; Como país en desarrollo, China siempre considera sus relaciones con otros países en desarrollo como la base de su política exterior. Se adhiere al principio de perseguir la igualdad, los beneficios mutuos, la eficacia y el desarrollo común. Su relación con América Latina y el Caribe, que data de hace mucho tiempo, es parte de la cooperación Sur-Sur que ha beneficiado a ambas partes. Al discutir las relaciones chino-latinoamericanas, notamos tres factores, a saber, el factor latinoamericano en el desarrollo de China, el factor de China en el desarrollo latinoamericano y el factor estadounidense en las relaciones chino-latinoamericanas. América Latina es importante para China económica, política y diplomáticamente. El ascenso de China en el escenario mundial ha contribuido a América Latina de muchas maneras, y la relación entre China y América Latina no representa una amenaza para terceros.
A number of ways of treating talk and textual data are identified which fall short of discourse analysis. They are: (1) under-analysis through summary; (2) underanalysis through taking sides; (3) under-analysis through over-quotation or through isolated quotation; (4) the circular identification of discourses & mental constructs; (5) false survey; (6) analysis that consists in simply spotting features. We show, by applying each of these to an extract from a recorded interview, that none of them actually analyze the data. We hope that illustrating shortcomings in this way will encourage further development of rigorous discourse analysis in social psychology.

Este documento retoma el estudio de la relación empírica entre la políticafiscal y la estabilidad macroeconómica. Nuestro supuesto básico es que, pordefinición, el funcionamiento de los estabilizadores automáticas deberíasiempre y en todas partes contribuir a una mayor estabilidad macroeconómica(producción y consumo). Sin embargo, dos hechos estilizados parecen estar endesacuerdo con esa predicción. En primer lugar, el efecto moderador de losestabilizadores automáticos parece haberse debilitado en las economíasavanzadas entre los años 1990 y 2006. En segundo lugar, los estabilizadoresautomáticos no parecen ser eficaces en las economías en desarrollo. Nuestroanálisis aborda estos enigmas aparentes por medio del análisis del papelambivalente del gobierno como un amortiguador e inductor de shocks sobrelos determinantes de la volatilidad macroeconómica en el tiempo. Our basic presumption is that by defi nition, the operationof automatic stabilizers should always and everywhere contribute to greatermacroeconomic stability (output and consumption). However, two stylizedfacts seem at odds with that prediction. First, the moderating effect of automaticstabilizers appears to have weakened in advanced economies betweenthe mid-1990s and 2006 (the end of our main sample). Second, automaticstabilizers do not seem to be effective in developing economies. Our analysisaddresses these apparent puzzles by accounting for the government's ambivalentrole as a shock absorber and a shock inducer for determinants ofmacroeconomic volatility over time.
