The article deals with the issue on the correlation, study and usage of the international relations history theoretical foundations as a sufficiently specific scientific direction, combining the features of historical and political sciences, in particular world history, the history of diplomacy, political science, the theory of the international relations, etc. The emergence of the international relations history is connected with the development of national historical sciences, the study of the history of diplomacy, geopolitical concepts, the theory of international relations, etc. The results of the scientific study of the international relations history have laid the basis for the common international processes study. Throughout the XX-th century this direction was actively developing, been influenced upon by the confrontation of political systems. Accordingly, antagonistic ideologies were used, a sample selection of historical facts and sources was carried out. Such issues as the concept and the subject of the international relations history, its periodization, and relations with the world history, history of diplomacy, the theory of international relations and other scientific directions still remain controversial.

Problem setting. The modern world continues to consider military power as one o f the most important tools for solving foreign policy problems. However, it is not an extraordinary option or a last resort in the range o f possible shares. Military power has become a widely used tool along with political and diplomatic actions. The decision to use military power is made by world actors based on their own understanding o f their national interests and the appropriateness o f its use, even without a UN resolution. Thus, the issue o f the study o f military power as a tool in international relations becomes relevant. Recent research and publications analysis. The object of research is the trust problem in the relations of the East and the West. The author in detail analyzes the phenomenon of trust, its principles and distinctive signs. Special attention is paid to conditions of formation of trust as on micro (between individuals) and at the macro level (between societies). The author connects the trust problem with a categorization "friend-or-foe", considered in the civilization aspect of the subject. Thus, the author in the research used the case study method and content analysis. The novelty of research consists in approach to understanding intensity between civilizations of the East and the West through a problem of the possibility of confidential relations between them. The author comes to a conclusion that in the modern international relations there is a paradoxical situation: the trust measure between the countries decreases, in volume time as it is possible to cope with new calls and threats only through consolidation of the world community on the basis of mutual trust.

The role of social media (social networks) in international relations is analyzed. The international relations as the main contributor to the world information space are singled out. Definitions of the main concepts characterizing the use of Internet technologies in the foreign policy activity of the state are given: foreign policy activity of the state, foreign policy behavior of the state, communication in the system of international relations or foreign policy communication of the state. The study used a set of general and special methods: the method of conceptual analysis in determining the basic characteristics of socio-political communication, comparative analysis, functional analysis (functions of foreign policy communication and activities). Social media and the Internet are turning into a new reality, where the main actors are states. The political image of the state is directly proportional to the image in the social media. The popularity of the state, diplomatic institutions depends on the openness of society and the advancement in social networks.

This study aims to explore the concept of authoritarianism, which – presented in terms of the "wicked problem" of the contemporary world – seems to be a severe challenge to present-day International Relations (IR), both in theoretical and practical dimensions. The author of the article defines the concept of authoritarianism as a form of the political system in which the power and material resources of the state have been centralized, appropriated, and put at the disposal of either an individual or an elitist group "in power." In this way, the possibilities of integrating the authoritarian state – both in the political and economic dimension – with the global system of international relations are limited, and the vital administrative institutions of the state have been manipulated and appropriated. The applied research method allows for interpreting the discussed issues in a complex – albeit specific – systemic form, characteristic not only for politically fragile or declining countries and regions but also for politically stable and economically developed ones. The author's analysis allows for the presentation and reinterpretation of the issue of contemporary authoritarian regimes concerning international relations in terms that not only define but often legitimize – and repeatedly even validate – some of the most despotic, autocratic, and hegemonistic forms of the political systems in modern times.

As it suggested in this article, human action is divided into three sections – cooperation, struggling and rivalry, which correspond to three types of theories. It should be added that cooperation is a positive-sum game, struggling – a negative-sum game and rivalry – a zero-sum game. The theory of international relations should be focused on the link between principles of cooperation and principles of struggling. Stosunki międzynarodowe są postacią działania ludzi, dlatego powinny stać się obiektem zainteresowania prakseologii jako nauki nastawionej na sprawność działania. Dotychczasowe rozumienie sprawności musi być jednak odmienne od tradycyjnego. Zgodnie z propozycją zawartą w artykule, ludzkie działanie dzieli się na trzy działy – współpracę, walkę oraz rywalizację , którym odpowiadają trzy rodzaje teorii. Charakterystyczne jest to, że współpraca jest grą o sumie dodatniej, walka – grą o sumie ujemnej, natomiast rywalizacja – grą o sumie zerowej. Teoria stosunków międzynarodowych powinna skupiać się na teorii rywalizacji, rozpostartej pomiędzy współpracą a walką. The author defines the cyberspace as a new dimension of political space and as a field of political interaction and confrontation of various political actors. The differences between cyberspace and the Internet-space are analyzed. It is shown that modern society is becoming specifically networked and digital, the relations in machine-mediated social and media net-works complement or replace communications based on the face to face interaction of political actors. ; Вступ. Результати дослідження. Поняття «кіберпростору» пройшло довгий шлях концептуалізації з моменту своєї появи в науково-фантастичній літературі на початку 1980-х років. Розуміння кіберпростору як комунікативного простору не є новим, оскільки воно з'являється задовго до комп'ютерів та Інтернету. Завдяки спільному кіберпростору сучасне суспільство стає специфічно мережевим і цифровим, тобто таким, де відносини в машинно-опосередкованих соціальних і медіамережах доповнюють або замінюють комунікації, засновані на взаємодії політичних акторів. The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the asymmetry of power in a complex system of international relations, which is characterized by a particularly high degree of global stratification, integration and asymmetric interdependence. Uneven distribution of power, increasing the number of asymmetric threats at the beginning of the XXI century, limited degree of study of the research topic in the domestic literature highlights the need to understand the asymmetry of power in international relations. In determining the power of the state in world politics, the determining factor is the material and power factor, which is clearly manifested at the present stage of development. Asymmetry of power – uneven distribution of power between participants in international relations leads to the dominance of several states that have higher indices of power than others. Dominance is manifested in various areas – from military to economic and cultural. Inequality of power creates an asymmetry of interaction. The strategy of the state's behavior in the international arena depends on the level of power. The ratio of total power capabilities between actors can change, which leads to an increase in the power of some actors and the decline of power of others. The asymmetric distribution of power leads to the formation of rights and rules governing the interaction between states, in which states compete for the preservation of the geopolitical status quo and their global influence. Despite the growing role of soft power components, the power continues to play a leading role in the international arena and to influence the format of relations in various areas of cooperation. In general, asymmetry can lead to stability and not cause tension in relations, which contradicts the current theory of international relations on asymmetric relations between states. ; Статтю присвячено дослідженню асиметрії влади в сучасній системі міжнародних відносин. Система міжнародних відносин як і будь-яка соціальна система стикається як з асиметрією, так і з проблемою влади, яка є однією з фундаментальних у сфері соціально-гуманітарного пізнання. Проаналізовано основні підходи щодо визначення феномена влади. Обґрунтовано думку про те, що асиметрія влади в міжнародних відносинах є об'єктивною реальністю, а не абстрактною категорією. З'ясовано лінію зовнішньополітичної поведінки держави в умовах асиметрії влади в міжнародній системі координат. Асиметрія влади – нерівномірний розподіл влади між учасниками міжнародних відносин призводить до домінування декількох держав, які володіють більшими індексами могутності, ніж інші. При визначенні влади держави у світовій політиці визначальним залишається матеріально-силовий фактор, який чітко простежується і на сучасному етапі розвитку. За умов домінування у світовій політиці групи великих держав зростає складність і неоднозначність відносин суб'єктів світової політики, відзначених асиметричністю влади і взаємозалежністю націй. Влада провідних держав часто підтверджується їх величезною роллю в міжнародних інститутах і форумах. Асиметричний розподіл влади призводить до формування прав і правил регулювання взаємодії між державами, в рамках якого держави змагаються як за збереження геополітичного статус-кво, так і свого глобального впливу. Зазначено, що асиметрія влади в міжнародних відносинах так чи інакше проявляється в зусиллях окремих держав, спрямованих на трансформацію інститутів і всієї міжнародної системи з метою реалізації своїх інтересів. Нерівність володіння владою породжує асиметричність взаємодії. Від рівня влади залежить стратегія поведінки держави на міжнародній арені. Залежно від владно-силових ресурсів держава у протистоянні з іншою вдається до широкого діапазону дій. Загалом в умовах єдиної глобальної системи міжнародних відносин держави вкрай асиметрично володіють владою, характерною рисою якої є її ієрархічність, що передбачає обов'язковий поділ за рівнями домінування.

In the work, the influence of political communication and art cinematography on international relations was revealed, and the analysis of the current state of the fashion industry in the world was carried out. ; У кваліфікаційній (бакалаврській) роботі досліджено індустрію моди та міжнародні відносини, основні напрямки міжнародної інформаційної діяльності в сфері моди, фактори, що впливають на сучасну індустрію моди. В процесі роботи було виявлено вплив політичної комунікації і художньої кінематографії на міжнародні відносини та здійснено аналіз сучасного стану індустрії моди в світі. Досліджено ключових гравців індустрій моди - модні будинки, масові виробники, рітейлери, модні стартапи - та їх участь у міжнародних відносинах.
