"Gegenstand des Bandes sind Ethnostereotype über China bzw. Chinesen in der deutschsprachigen Medienöffentlichkeit. Im Fokus stehen dabei die kulturellen, sprachlichen und medialen Konstitutionsbedingungen stereotyper Perspektivierungen, ihre besonderen Ausprägungen seit der Jahrtausendwende sowie qualitative und quantifizierende, computergestützte Verfahren zu ihrer Untersuchung.
