Significant Dynamics of Gilgit-Baltistan from Great Game to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
The geopolitical factors have the actual determents which evaluate any region's fortune in international politics. The Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) geopolitics has been counted in global politics from the Great Game between Anglo-Russia in the nineteenth century. This research aims to examine that, what was the GB dynamics in the Great Game and now in the 21st century the GB geopolitical role for Sino-Pakistan relations in the context of China-Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC). The GB has a junction point in Asia, and the CPEC has the main tool to connect the Asian region. Thus the GB unclear constitutional status has the main obstacle for CPEC internally and externally. Internally the local mass strongly demands their rights according to the United-Nations (UN) resolutions, and externally India raised objections in the different international forums due to its disputed status as part of the Kashmir Issue. The CPEC has a bilateral economic plan, while the US and India is looking as strategic plans against their hegemonic position in the Indian Oceans.

Derecho sustantivo y reformas en los sistemas jurídicos actuales ; Maternal and paternal affiliation in Islamic Law. Substantive law and reforms of current legal systems
; The legal proceedings for separation and divorce among people who have entered into mixed marriages with Muslims, as well as actions concerning affiliation and other arrangements in the case of marriages between Muslims, require knowledge of principles which in European Law are covered by Family Law. The determining of affiliation of children born inside and outside these marriages raises a number of issues for the Spanish judicial system, in view of the plurality of Islamic Law. This paper examines the presumption of paternity, its recognition (iqrar) and the rights and inherent duties of parents (hadana and nafaqa), which are subject to revision in accordance with current demands and legal requirements.

Transgenic crops for the agricultural improvement in Pakistan: a perspective of environmental stresses and the current status of genetically modified crops
Transgenic technologies have emerged as a powerful tool for crop improvement in terms of yield, quality, and quantity in many countries of the world. However, concerns also exist about the possible risks involved in transgenic crop cultivation. In this review, literature is analyzed to gauge the real intensity of the issues caused by environmental stresses in Pakistan. In addition, the research work on genetically modified organisms (GMOs) development and their performance is analyzed to serve as a guide for the scientists to help them select useful genes for crop transformation in Pakistan. The funding of GMOs research in Pakistan shows that it does not follow the global trend. We also present socio-economic impact of GM crops and political dimensions in the seed sector and the policies of the government. We envisage that this review provides guidelines for public and private sectors as well as the policy makers in Pakistan and in other countries that face similar environmental threats posed by the changing climate.

There are several methods in determining lineage (al-Nasab) in Islam such as al-firasy, iqrar, bayyinah, qiyafah and qur'ah. Islamic countries like Maghribi and Indonesia has been one step forward in strengthening the country's Judicial Institution by implementing other option besides al-firasy for the matter of lineage determination especially for the offspring who does not have right in lineage through only al-firasy or in other word, a child that born out of wedlock. Therefore, observations are done to see Islamic views that are used by judicial system in Maghribi and Indonesia in drafting the law and deciding the implementations of methods for cases involving lineage determination. This observation also includes the comparisons on how the law is implemented legislatively on the Islamic society in Maghribi and Indonesia.
