Анализируется образ России и русских в сочинении французского капитана Маржерета, служившего в России наемником во время Смуты начала XVII в. Исследования на эту тему до сих пор не было в научной литературе, хотя книга Жака Маржерета неоднократно переиздавалась, существует немало исследований о нем. Проблема рассматривается с точки зрения исторической имагологии, освещаются обстоятельства написания книги, различные влияния, ставится вопрос о существовании «стереотипов о стереотипах», т.е. предубеждений, или определенных тенденций в отношении к высказываниям Маржерета в литературе о нем.Выводы состоят в следующем: 1) книга Маржерета содействовала углублению представлений французского общества о Московском государстве; 2) она, в целом, содержит много объективных сведений об этой стране, хотя и не лишена противоречий, субъективных и эмоциональных оценок; 3) в книге присутствует как минимум одна главная политическая тенденция — убеждение автора в отсталости тогдашней русской культуры по сравнению с другими европейскими культурами и симпатия к тем, кто, по его мнению, нес «цивилизаторскую» миссию в отношении нее.DOI 10.14258/izvasu(2017)5-24 ; The article analyzes the image of Russia and the Russians in the book of French Captain Jacques Margeret, who served as a mercenary in Russia in the Time of Troubles in the early 17th century. Research on the subject is missing in the scientific literature, although Margeret's book was reprinted several times and there are many studies about it. The problem is considered from the standpoint of historical imagology, The emphasis is made on the circumstances of writing of this book, various influences. The author raises the question of the existence of "stereotypes of stereotypes," i.e. prejudices, or certain trends in relation to Margeret's opinions in the literature about him. The conclusions are as follows: 1) the book of Margeret has contributed to the deepening of perceptions of Muscovy in the French society; 2) in general, it contains much of objective information about the country, although not without controversy, emotional and subjective ratings; 3) in this book there is at least one major political tendency — the belief of the author in the Russian cultural backwardness in comparison with other European cultures and sympathy to those who, in his opinion, had a "civilizing" mission towards Russian people.DOI 10.14258/izvasu(2017)5-24

This article is based on the correspondence between two important European musicologists of the second quarter of the 20th century, Jacques Handschin and Higini Anglès. I analyse the political problems discussed in these letters as well as the influence of the political beliefs of the both scientists on their scientific concepts. ; This article deals with the correspondence between two prominent European musicologists of the second quarter of the 20th century: Jacques Handschin (b. 1896, Moscow, Russia – d. 1955, Basel, Switzerland) and Higini Anglès (b. 1888, Maspujols, Spain – d. 1969, Rome, Italy). A total of 182 letters from the period 1926 to 1954 are preserved today in two archives: the Handschin archive in the Institute of Musicology at the University of Würzburg, Germany, and in the National Library of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. The article focuses on political matters discussed in the letters from the 1930s. At this time both musicologists were first hand witnesses of fundamental changes in the world politics, such as the unfortunate demise of the Weimar Republic and the installation of the Nazi government, the growing tensions inside France (due to the strengthening of the leftists) as well as the fear of its military power by its neighbours. The outbreak of the Spanish civil war was at the same time the beginning of a long warlike period, which Winston Churchill called the 'Twilight War'. Both Handschin and Anglès were musicologists, not political scientists, but their comments on political matters have enabled me to paint their intellectual and historical profiles. Also, during this period both scholars were protagonists of significant changes in scientific structures: in the International Musicological Society (IMS), where Anglès acted as Vice President and Handschin was a board member, and in the Institute of Musicology at the University of Basel, directed by Handschin. Therefore their political opinions led directly to developments in their discipline. Handschin and Anglès discussed at length the events of the Spanish Civil War. Although both of them were on the side of the Nationalists and General Franco, disagreements occurred. Their differences of opinion were rooted in the difference between their views of France and Germany: Anglès, who was trained in the German scientific tradition and who passed the years of the Civil War in Munich, was anti-France and accused France to be guilty of the conflict in Spain. The Francophile Handschin did not agree: for him France was one of two main cradles of European culture, while the other one was the so-called European East (including Russia). He followed attentively what was going on in the East and he wrote to Anglès already in 1942 that the outcome of the siege of Moscow would be important for the future. In his view the connection between France and Eastern Europe (i.e. Russia) constituted the base of European culture; in this respect he was opposed to Anglès, who favoured German culture. This view was Handschin's very specific "intonation" in the scientific musicological circles of the 1930s

The article is devoted to the historical-philosophical analysis of the problem of ambivalence as a fundamental principle of Derrida's philosophical thinking. It shows how such primordial philosophical questions as ones of limits of philosophies and of limits of philosophy define the basic problem dimensions of Derridean conception. It consideres the correlation of the theme of marginality with both the problem of Derrida's cultural self-identification and the idea of the metaphoricity of language as the initial premise of différance logic. Also the article examines the role of transcendentalistic implications in Derridean thought that determine a his-torical and philosophical context of Derrida's philosophy. The analogy between quasi-transcendental and metaphorical aspects of deconstructive thinking is drawn. The identifica-tion of Jewish and metaphorical in Derrida's conception is demonstrated. The author introduces the concept of "literal metaphor" as the quintessence of Derrida's philosophical thought which structures its basic forms, namely: aporia, hyperbole, question, commentary. ; Статья посвящена историко-философскому анализу проблемы амбивалентности как фундаментального принципа философского мышления Деррида. Показывается, каким образом исконные для истории философии вопросы – границ философий и границ философии – определяют основные проблемные измерения дерридианской концепции. Рассматривается корреляция темы пограничности как с проблемой культурной самоидентификации Деррида, так и с идеей метафоричности языка как исходного посыла логики différance. Анализируется роль трансценденталистских импликаций в дерридианской мысли, определяющих историко-философский контекст последней. Проводится аналогия между квази-трансцендентальным и метафорическим аспектами деконструктивного мышления, демонстрируется отождествление еврейского и метафорического в концепции Деррида.
