Ovaj rad postavlja sljedeće pitanje: Je li Adam Smith konzervativac? Smith se obično smatra jednim od glavnih autora liberalne tradicije, ali mnoge njegove teze imaju snažnu konzervativnu notu. Iako se često zauzima za pojedinca i za pojedinčeve sposobnosti da bude protagonist vlastite povijesti, Smith istovremeno taj prostor ograničava, argumentirajući u prilog nesposobnosti tih istih pojedinaca da svoje djelovanje razumiju, te argumentirajući u prilog tome da ih se društveno kontrolira i disciplinira. Tri se teme problematiziraju: (1) Smithova metafora nevidljive ruke, (2) pitanje institucionalnog dizajna i (3) pitanje društvene hijerarhije. Ovaj rad upućuje na određene tenzije koje postoje kod Adama Smitha, u škotskom prosvjetiteljstvu i u suvremenoj liberalnoj tradiciji koja je, u velikoj mjeri, sagrađena na tim temeljima. ; This article asks the following question: Is Adam Smith a conservative? Smith is usually seen as a key author of the liberal tradition, but some of his claims have a strong conservative overtone. Although he frequently defends the individual and his capacity to be the agent of his own history, Smith simultaneously limits this space, arguing that the very same individuals are incapable of understanding their own action, and arguing in favor of socially controlling and disciplining them. Three themes are discussed: (1) Smith's metaphor of the invisible hand, (2) the question of institutional design, and (3) the question of social hierarchy. This article points towards certain tensions in the work of Adam Smith, the Scottish enlightenment, and the liberal tradition which was built, to a large extent, on these foundations.
Tema ovoga rada je politički interes kod studenata, odnosno kako i u kojoj mjeri studenti iskazuju interes za politiku i za političko djelovanje u bosanskohercegovačkom društvu. U tu svrhu provedeno je anketno istraživanje "Studenti i politika" u siječnju i veljači 2019. godine na uzorku od 371 studenta Sveučilišta u Mostaru i Univerziteta Džemal Bijedić u Mostaru. Dobiveni kvantitativni podaci prikazani su frekvencijama i postocima u domeni deskriptivnih statističkih postupaka i primjenom hi-kvadrat testa. Istraživanje je provedeno u okviru teorijskog pristupa Almonda i Verbe, pomoću tri dimenzije: odnos prema politici i to kao interes ljudi za politiku i informacije o političkim aktivnostima; zatim stavovi kojima izražavaju podršku različitim modelima demokratskoga političkog poretka; i, na kraju, vrednovanje političkih postignuća kao povjerenje ispitanika u institucije. Kvantitativnom analizom dobivenih rezultata navedenog istraživanja utvrđeno je kako studenti prate trend niskog interesa za politiku mladih u BiH, ali imaju i poseban demokratski potencijal. ; The topic of this article is the political interest of students, ie how and to what extent students express interest in politics, in political activity in Bosnian and Herzegovinian society. For this purpose, a survey "Students and Politics" was conducted in January and February 2019 on a sample of 371 students from the University of Mostar and University of Džemal Bijedić in Mostar. The obtained quantitative data are presented by frequencies and percentages in the domain of descriptive statistical procedures and the application of the chi-square test. Research was conducted within the theoretical approach of Almond and Verba expressed through three dimensions of attitudes towards politics, specifically as people's interest in politics and information about political activities; then as attitudes expressing support for different models of democratic political order; and finally as valuing political achievements as respondents' trust in institutions. The results achived from this research showed that students follow low intrest in the politics of young people in BiH, but also have a special democratic potential
Nova platforma Europass-a (https://europa.eu/europass/hr) od srpnja 2020. godine dostupna je kao besplatni online instrument za prikazivanje postignutih ishoda učenja, planiranje ili pripremu karijere u Europi, te služi kao potpora građanima Europske unije kako bi lakše prolazili kroz svoj profesionalni razvoj. Kroz platformu Europass-a korisnici mogu izraditi svoj profil, jednostavno pretraživati različite mogućnosti za učenje ili zapošljavanje diljem Europe, primati individualne prijedloge obrazovnih programa ili poslova koji odgovaraju njihovom profilu i interesima, izrađivati, uređivati i pohranjivati životopise, motivacijska pisma i prijave za posao, pohranjivati digitalne vjerodajnice, dijeliti svoj profil s poslodavcima, obrazovnim ustanovama ili karijernim savjetnicima, te koristiti brojne druge usluge. Od navedenih mogućnosti korištenja platforme Europass-a posebno se ističu Europske digitalne vjerodajnice za učenje (Europass Digital Credentials for learning, EDC), odnosno digitalne datoteke koje pojedincima dodjeljuje odgovarajuće obrazovne ustanova, primjerice sveučilišta, kako bi se potvrdio i pružio dokaz o postignutim ishodima učenja. Europske digitalne vjerodajnice za učenje mogu se koristiti za postignuća kroz sve oblike učenja, formalna, neformalna i informalna. Digitalne vjerodajnice imaju jednaku pravnu vrijednost kao potvrde, diplome i druge vjerodajnice u papirnatom obliku, a visokoškolskim ustanovama omogućuju besplatno i sigurno izdavanje. Platforma Europass-a omogućuje sigurnu pohranu i dijeljenje digitalnih vjerodajnica. Besplatnim i sigurnim sustavom Europskih digitalnih vjerodajnica za učenje upravlja Europska komisija. Ideja o uključivanju Sveučilišta u Splitu u procese razvoja i provedbe platforme za Europske digitalne vjerodajnice za učenje javila se u vrijeme jasnog interesa rektora, prof. dr. sc. Dragana Ljutića, i njegovih suradnika za jačanje internacionalizacije, relevantnosti i kvalitete studijskih programa i znanstvenih istraživanja. U suradnji s partnerskim sveučilištima Europskog sveučilišta mora (European University of the Seas, SEA-EU), razvijene su projektne aktivnosti za testiranje i provedbu za neformalna i informalna učenja, kao i za dodjelu diploma stečenih kroz sveučilišne preddiplomske, diplomske i poslijediplomske studije. Through the Europass platform, users can create their own profile, easily search for different learning or employment opportunities across Europe, receive proposals for educational programmes or jobs that match their profile and interests, create, edit, and store CVs, cover letters and job applications, store digital credentials, share their profile with employers, educational institutions, or career counsellors, and use many other services. Among the mentioned possibilities of using the Europass platform, European digital learning credentials stand out (Europass Digital Credentials for learning, EDC), i.e., digital files assigned to individuals by appropriate educational institutions, such as universities, to validate and provide evidence of learning outcomes. Europass digital learning credentials can be used for achievements in all forms of learning, formal, non-formal and informal. Digital credentials have the same legal value as certificates, diplomas and other credentials in paper form, and allow higher education institutions to issue them free and securely. The Europass platform enables secure storage and sharing of digital credentials. The free and secure Europass Digital Learning Credentials system is managed by the European Commission. The idea of involving the University of Split in the processes of development and implementation of the platform for Europass digital learning credentials arose at a time of a strong interest of the Rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić, PhD, and his associates in strengthening the internationalization, relevance and quality of study programmes and scientific research. In collaboration with the partner universities of the European University of the Sea (European University of the Seas, SEA-EU) the project activities for testing and implementation for non-formal and informal learning have been developed, as well as for the award of diplomas obtained in university undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate study programmes. Through the activities of the European University of the Sea, European digital learning credentials are linked to other European initiatives in higher education, such as quality assurance and automatic recognition of higher education qualifications and periods of study. The benefits of European digital learning credentials stem from the rapid and reliable issuing diplomas and other credentials, their review, storage and sharing with employers and other individuals and institutions. The main advantage for all universities, including the University of Split, is related to the potential association with measurable indicators of quality assurance implementation in the European Higher Education Area, i.e., connection with the External Quality Assurance Results Database (DEQAR). For higher education institutions, especially the European Maritime Universities, the Europass Digital Credentials for Learning bring many benefits that can be used to facilitate student mobility, build more flexible student-centred learning, foster lifelong learning, build stronger links with entrepreneurs, and build better links between education, research, and innovation. During 2021 the University of Split successfully issued several hundred Europass Digital Credentials to participants in several informal and informal activities, making it the first higher education institution to successfully use the Europass platform to issue Europass Digital Credentials for Learning.
Cilj je ovog preglednog rada istaknuti važnost rasprave o temi sveučilišne nastave i nastavničkih kompetencija visokoškolskih nastavnika. U sustavu visokog obrazovanja tijekom posljednjih desetljeća događaju se brojne promjene koje se uočavaju kroz drastičan porast i sve veću heterogenost studentske populacije, iz čega proizlazi potreba za redefiniranjem uloge sveučilišnog nastavnika. Iako sveučilišni nastavnici jesu stručnjaci u znanstvenim poljima kojima se bave, dubinsko poznavanje sadržaja predmeta poučavanja ne čini ih istodobno stručnjacima za nastavu. Istraživanja su pokazala da su programi pedagoškog osposobljavanja i usavršavanja sveučilišnih nastavnika učinkoviti u podizanju kvalitete sveučilišne nastave te da doprinose razvoju nastavničkih kompetencija, a njihova važnost konstantno se naglašava i u smjernicama strateških dokumenata na razini europske obrazovne politike. U hrvatskom sustavu visokog obrazovanja uočavaju se brojni izazovi koji doprinose negativnoj percepciji nastavničke profesije, stoga se javlja potreba za dubljim istraživanjem ove teme i promišljanjem o izazovima implementacije programa za osposobljavanje i usavršavanje sveučilišnih nastavnika. ; The aim of this paper review is to emphasize the importance of a discussion about teaching in higher education and teaching competencies of university teachers. In recent decades in higher education system, a number of changes has been evident, especially through a drastic increase and larger heterogeneity of student population, which implies the need to redefine the role of university teachers. Although university teachers are experts in their scientific fields, a deeper knowledge of teaching content does not make them experts on teaching at the same time. Research has shown that the programs of pedagogical education and training of university teachers are effective in raising the quality of university teaching and can contribute to the development of teacher competencies. The importance of those programs is constantly emphasized in the guidelines and strategic documents of European education policy. Numerous challenges that contribute to the negative perception of the teaching profession were identified in the Croatian system of higher education. Therefore, there is a need for a deeper study of this topic and a reflection on the challenges of the implementation of programs for education and training for university teachers.
Tradicionalne i osnovne misije sveučilišta, nastava i istraživanje sve se više proširuju. Treća misija sveučilišta je višedimenzionalan koncept koji poprima široke razmjere na svjetskom nivou. Kao cilj rada postavlja se proučavanje osnovnih sličnosti i razlika u pristupima trećoj misiji sveučilišta kada je riječ o američkim u odnosu na europska sveučilišta. Kao polazna osnova za usporedbu uzima se činjenica da treća misija sveučilišta svoje porijeklo ima na američkom kontinentu dok se nastanak sveučilišta vezuje za Europu. Cilj rada je konkretiziran na sljedeće zadatke: ispitati utjecaj globalnih obrazovnih politika na pristupe trećoj misiji sveučilišta; ispitati razlike u načinu funkcioniranja europskih u odnosu na američka sveučilišta; objasniti obrazovne implikacije provedbe treće misije na europskim sveučilištima. Kao zaključak rada ističe se da je neophodno razumijevanje globalnih društveno-ekonomskih utjecaja na proces visokog obrazovanja kako bi se sveobuhvatnije pristupilo obrazovnim reformama i načinima njihovog sprovođenja. Također, s obzirom na sudjelovanje sve brojnijih interesnih grupa u okviru realizacije treće misije sveučilišta, neminovno je razvijanje stavova o vrijednostima i načelima treće misije kod svih onih koji su uključeni u proces visokog obrazovanja. ; The traditional and basic missions of the university, teaching and research are expanding. Početak razvoja Kliničkoga bolničkog centra u Osijeku vezanje uz Huttler Kohlhoffer Monspergerovu zakladnu bolnicu, osnovanu 1874. godine, koja je tada bila najmodernija bolnica na jugoistoku Europe. Naredbom Vlade 1895. godine postaje "Sveobća i javna Huttler Kohlhoffer-Monspergerova zakladna bolnica pod Zemaljskom upravom u Osieku". U vrijeme Prvoga svjetskog rata Zakladna bolnica skrbi o ranjenima i bolesnima. Poslije Prvoga svjetskog rata otvaraju se novi bolnički odjeli. Osim Kirurgije i Interne medicine, novi su odjeli Oftalmologija, Otorinolaringologija, Dermatovenerologija, Epidemiološkohigijenski zavod i Dispanzer za tuberkulozu. Daljnji razvoj prekinuo je Drugi svjetski rat. U teškim prilikama razvijen je poseban način medicinskoga rada, osobito u pogledu zbrinjavanja ranjenika i bolesnika, poduzimanja protuepidemijskih mjera, medicinskog opskrbljivanja i si. Nakon Drugoga svjetskog rata obnavlja se Opća bolnica Osijek i započinje moderan ustroj kao temelj razvoja buduće kliničke bolnice. U razdoblju 1980. - 1990. godine provode se stručna usavršavanja na svim područjima, objavljuju se brojni znanstveni i stručni radovi, razvija izdavačka djelatnost, što pridonosi stvaranju obrazovno nastavne djelatnosti i znanstveno-istraživačkoga rada. Posebno treba istaknuti razdoblje Domovinskoga rata u kojem je bolnica časno izvršila sve svoje zadaće u liječenju ranjenih i bolesnih. Stoga joj je dodijeljena nagrada "Medicina . Godine 1992. stekla je naslov Klinička bolnica Osijek. Daljnjim razvojem, izgradnjom, opremanjem i napredovanjem djelatnika u znanstvena, nastavna, znanstveno nastavna i stručna zvanja, 2009. godine postaje Klinički bolnički centar. Klinike i odjeli Kliničkoga bolničkog centra u Osijeku nastavna su baza Medicinskoga fakulteta Sveučilišta J. J. Strossmayera u Osijeku. ; Beginnings of the University Hospital Centre in Osijek were related to Huttler Kohlhoffer Monsperger Foundation Hospital, which was founded in 1874 and was the most modern hospital in the south-east Europe at the time. By the Government legislation in 1895 it became "General and public Huttler Kohlhoffer Monsperger Foundation Hospital under Country's management in Osiek". Foundation hospital was taking care of the wounded and sick during the World War 1. New hospital departments were opened after the World War I. Apart from Surgery and Internal Department; new departments were Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Dermatovenereology, Epidemiological and Hygienic Institute and Tuberculosis Clinic. Further development was interrupted by the World War II. A special way of performing medical work developed in those hard times, especially regarding taking care of the wounded and sick, taking epidemic precaution measures, medical supplying, etc. After the World War II General Hospital Osijek was renovated and modern organization began, which was a basis for development of the future university hospital. In the period 1980 - 1990 professional educations in all areas were implemented, many scientific and professional papers were published, publishing developed, what contributed to creating educational and teaching activities, as well as scientific and research work. Period of the War for Croatian Independence, in which the hospital honourably performed all its duties regarding treating wounded and sick, especially needs to be pointed out. For those activities it was rewarded with "Medicine" reward. In 1992 it became University Hospital Osijek. By further development, construction, and equipment and by promoting its employees to scientific, teaching, scientific teaching and professional titles, it became University Hospital Centre in 2009. Clinics and Departments of the University Hospital Centre in Osijek are the teaching base of the Faculty of Medicine, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
The fact that universities have become complex organisations characterised by multiple missions including teaching, research, and entrepreneurship agenda served as a starting point for this enquiry. This study strives to offer a deeper insight into the views of the academics pertaining to the creation of an entrepreneurial university ideal within the context of a research university. The underlying complexities in achieving this mission were extracted from a series of semi-structured interviews conducted among academicians spanning the diverse disciplines within the university. The findings revealed a vast array of definitions given to the concept of an entrepreneurial university that ranges from the soft spectrum to the hard spectrum of entrepreneurial activities. This study adds value to the existing literature through the identification of dilemmas surrounding the creation of the entrepreneurial university that encompass challenges related to the academic resistance, internal factors and social capital issues. It is concluded that the right balancing between teaching, research and entrepreneurship is crucial to ensure that learning institutions do not digress from their core functions. Effective links between university, industry and government could assist to fast-track the transition from the traditional university to the entrepreneurial university concept. ; Činjenica da su sveučilišta postala kompleksne organizacije koje provode raznovrsne i višestruke aktivnosti poput predavanja, istraživanja i poduzetničkih aktivnosti, služila je kao polazište ovog istraživanja. Cilj mu je omogućiti dublji uvid u stajališta akademika vezano uz stvaranje idealnog poduzetničkog sveučilišta u kontekstu istraživačkog sveučilišta. Temeljna kompleksna pitanja bitna za postizanje ovoga cilja dobivena su polustrukturiranim intervjuom provedenim s akademicima iz različitih sveučilišnih disciplina. Rezultati su pokazali širok raspon definicija poduzetničkog sveučilišta koje variraju od mekog do tvrdog spektra poduzetničkih aktivnosti. Ovo istraživanje daje dodatnu vrijednost postojećoj literaturi prepoznavanjem dilema koje postoje oko stvaranja poduzetničkog sveučilišta, a koje obuhvaćaju i izazove povezane s akademskim otporom, unutarnjim faktorima i pitanjima društvenog kapitala. Zaključak je da je pravilan omjer poučavanja, istraživanja i poduzetništva neophodan da bi se osiguralo da obrazovne institucije ne odstupaju od svojih temeljnih funkcija. Učinkovite veze između sveučilišta, industrije i vlade mogle bi pomoći brzoj tranziciji iz tradicionalnog sveučilišta u poduzetničko sveučilište.
Autor u kratkim crtama daje pregled razvitka umjetnosti medalje na području priobalne Hrvatske od 15. st. do druge austrijske dominacije. Materijal je grupi ran u sljedeće skupine: Istra, Mletačka Dalmacija, Dubrovnik, Napoleonovo doba, Prva austrijska vlast, svetačke medaljice. Sam katalog sadrži 52 komada medalja, poznatih bilo iz zbirki, bilo iz stručne literature. ; Among the older Istrian medals there is one of Francesco Biondi, a Florentine monk, bishop of Capodistria (Justinopolis, Kopar), made in 1448. Other Istrian medals of interest are a rough cast-bronze one from 1693, made for a corporate body for the distribution of hay in Pula and a small cast bronze medal, made in Rome on the occasion of the renewal of St. Euphemia's church in Rovinj in 1756. Of course, there is also a modest medal presented by the Poreč community to the last Venetian podesta in 1797. Speaking of Dalmatian medals, one ought to mention two of the great names of the Renaissance, who excelled in the art of the medal: Paolo de Ragusa and Francesco Laurana. Several famous Dalmatians who lived abroad in the 16th c. were depicted on medals: Jacobus Banisius, Francesco Niconizio and Antonio Veranzio. One of the earliest Dalmatian medals is the one made in 1600 for the Procuratori dell' Area di S. Simeone in Zadar. There is also a medal struck on the occasion of the liberation of Castelnuovo (Hercegnovi) in 1687. The Scuola Dalmata in Venice also hat its own small silver medals depicting S. George and S. Tripone. The numerous Dalmatian magistrates' medals from the 17th and 18th c. are usually of little artistic value, having been made by local gold or silversmiths, according to the wishes of the local nobility, who wanted to honour a departing provveditore generale or conte (various provveditori generali of Dalmatia and Albania, podesta of Poreč, counts of Korčula, Split, Šibenik and Zadar, provveditori of Imotski, Makarska and Sinj). Speaking about medals of the ancient Republic of Dubrovnik one ought to mention that only trace left there by Paolo de Ragusio are the delicate copper follari. Matteo de' Pasti made a medal of Timoteo Maffei, the archbishop of Ragusa. Three 16th c. Ragusan patricians: Giovanni Nale-Nalješković, Domenico Ragnina and Luca Cerva-Crijević were depicted on medals. A medal by St. Urbain was dedicated to Giorgio Baglivi, a Ragusan surgeon. The first medal was struck in Dubrovnik on the occasion of the reconstruction of St. Blaise's church in 1707. In 1771 the relics of St. Stephen King of Hungary were presented by the Ragusan Senate to Emperor Joseph Il. and Empress Maria Theresia; the event was marked by a medal. The other two remarkable medals of Dubrovnik were the one to commemorate the death of the rector Orsat Gozze Gučetić, 1798; Gioacchino Hamerani's 1803 Luigi Alvise Mozzi medal. Napoleon Bonaparte's Marshal Marmont dissolved the government of the reverend and feeble Republic of Ragusa on January 31. 1808. Napoleon's massive numismatic propaganda was very well organized. An entire team of artists worked for Napoleon in Paris, but there were also many medallists elsewhere producing medals, in order to celebrate his victories, thus for instance the 1806 medal commemorating the conquests of Dalmatia, of Istria, and of Illyricum. Several of the Dalmatian Napoleonic medals have not been attributed to any of the known medallists, thus for instance the rare Zaratine Lycaeum medal from 1809. A more rudely made medal was presented by the inhabitants of Sinj to Pierre Bouillerot, a French surgeon, in 1811 . During the first Austrian rule, in 1801 a decoration by I. N. Wirt was distributed, with the bust of Emperor Franc is II. on the obverse and the inscription DALMATAE BEN EMERENTI/ 1801 on the reverse . One of the earliest Austrian medals struck for Dalmatia was the Zara tine medal of 1804 by Luigi Ferrari, which commemorated the Dalmatian nobility paying respect to Emperor Franc is II. (1792- 1806-1 835), represented by Count Peter von Goess, Governor of Dalmatia between 1802 and 1805. One should not forget the most popular of all medals: the saints' medals and tokens, which were struck, cast or engraved in very large quantities and were cheap and therefore accessible to the masses of pilgrims. The most popular were those of Madonna of Trsat, made chiefly after 1715, when the Madonna was solemnly crowned .
The aim of this paper is to portray the effects of individual entrepreneurial orientation of the faculty (professors, teaching assistants and researchers) on entrepreneurial outcomes and outputs of Serbian higher education institutions. Particular objective of the paper is to examine and explore how research mobilization, unconventionality, industry collaboration and university policies affect entrepreneurial outcomes – joint research agreements, contractual agreements, consulting activities, establishment of spin-offs and patenting. For this purpose, primary data were collected at Serbian public universities. In total, 552 respondents correctly fulfilled the questionnaire specifically designed to meet the purpose of the study. The results indicate that entrepreneurial orientation plays a statistically significant role in entrepreneurial outcomes. However, entrepreneurial orientation is more important in commercial than non-commercial research outcomes. ; Cilj je ovoga rada prikazati utjecaj individualne poduzetničke orijentacije akademika (profesora, asistenata i istraživača) na poduzetničke ishode srpskih institucija visokoga obrazovanja. Posebna zadaća ovoga rada bila je ispitati i istražiti kako pokretanje istraživanja, nekonvencionalnost, suradnja s industrijom i sveučilišna politika djeluju na rezultate u poduzetništvu – zajedničke istraživačke sporazume, ugovorna istraživanja, aktivnosti savjetovanja, osnivanje tvrtki kćeri (spin-off) i patentiranje. Za tu svrhu sakupljeni su primarni podatci na srpskim državnim sveučilištima. Ukupno je 552 ispitanika točno ispunilo upitnike osmišljene za potrebe ovoga istraživanja. Rezultati pokazuju da poduzetnička orijentacija ima statistički značajnu ulogu u poduzetničkim ishodima te da je poduzetnička orijentacija važnija u komercijalnim nego u nekomercijalnim istraživačkim ishodima.
Ideja univerziteta uzima se kao temeljna u artikulaciji pojma univerziteta i njegove institucionalne ostvarivosti, a u tom se kontekstu u prvi plan stavlja Immanuel Kant kao nezaobilazan mislitelj te ideje. Radi lakšeg razumijevanja njegove artikulacije ideje univerziteta, na početku se ukratko predstavljaju osnovne značajke Humboldtove vizije univerziteta kroz koje se može pratiti Kantov doprinos i utjecaj na njihovo artikuliranje. Centralni je Kantov spis pri tome Spor fakulteta, u kojemu ne samo da je ponudio koncept sveučilišta kao institucije temeljne za razvoj učenosti nego je po nekima možda i posljednji mislio samu ideju univerziteta. Kako analiza pokazuje, ta ideja u historijskome smislu predstavlja artikulaciju klasične ideje modernog, humboldtovskog tipa sveučilišta, no u nju su također utkani brojni elementi koji posjeduju trajnu aktualnost (npr. jurisdikcija pojedinih područja znanja, pretenzije pojedinih znanosti, autonomija znanostî i fakultetâ, odnosi pojedinih fakulteta itd.). Uzimanjem u obzir čitava Kantova opusa, pokazuje se da je u Sporu fakulteta Kant ponudio proširenje svoga prosvjetiteljskoga projekta, dao dopunu svojoj filozofiji politike i prava (javna i privatna upotreba uma), odnosno filozofiji povijesti (univerziteti kao karika u progresu čovječanstva uopće), te dodao i značajne dopune svojoj filozofskoj antropologiji (univerzitet kao medij razvoja čovjekovih moći) i filozofiji odgoja (univerzitet kao neophodna dimenzija u odgajanju čovjeka kao osobe, kao građanina i kao čovjeka uopće). S druge se strane demonstrira nužnost svih tih ostalih dijelova njegova filozofskog opusa za potpuno razumijevanje njegove misli, a napose čitanje ideje univerziteta u antropološkom ključu. Ponovnim razmatranjem formalnih značajki sklopa zvonika i kapitularne dvorane samostana sv. Marije u Zadru otvara se pitanje njegove izvorne funkcije, odnosno smisao Kolomanovog graditeljskog pothvata 1105. godine. Prijedlog rješenja problema jest funkcija kraljevske kapele, na sto- osim same arhitektonske koncepcije- ukazuju i liturgijsko- ikonografski, te povijesno- politički kontekst gradnje. Vraćajući se formalno-stilskim problemima, ovakva interpretacija Kolomanovog sklopa pruža odgovore na pitanja o širenju određenih arhitektonskih i dekorativnih oblika sa zapadne na istočnu jadransku obalu, te dalje u unutrašnjost pod jurisdikcijom ugarske crkve. ; Erection of the architectural ensemble consisting of the chapter house and the bell tower in the precinct of the nunnery of St. Mary in Zadar represents a turning point in the architectural practice of medieval Dalmatia, featuring for the first time elements of the High Romanesque style. Question of the function of this architecture, related to Hungarian king Coloman and his military campaign in Dalmatia in 1105, has not, however, been discussed so far. The form of a private chapel, that is, a hall joined by an axial bell tower with a gallery on the first floor, indicates an initial function for the private, in this case royal, liturgy. Such interpretation is supported by the architectural articulation and decorative programme of the western gallery (featuring an inscription with the name of the king), and the reconstruction of the external access to the gallery indicating a user who was not a member of the monastic community. In addition, liturgical and iconographic aspects, together with political context of Coloman's architectural intervention provide more evidence for such a use of the gallery. The iconography of the wall paintings in the gallery corresponds not only to the usual iconography of the western complexes, but also to the liturgy of laudes regiae by appearance of the same saintly figures: Christ the Saviour, Virgin Mary, John the Baptist and Archangel Gabriel. The mention of the palace built by Coloman in Zadar, provided by a 14th-century Hungarian chronicle, gives another indication of king's presence in the city, and therefore of the need for the royal chapel. Returning to the question of style, the interpretation of the complex as the royal chapel offers answers for several problems concerning the circulation of decorative and architectural forms in the region, both as the model for and the further influence of the chapel. The form was determined by its function in terms of the symbolic importance it had for its contemporaries. On the basis of the stylistic similarity, but also the symbolic compatibility, the "Contarini" phase (consecrated in 1094) of St. Mark's in Venice is established as the model for the decoration of Coloman's chapel. Diffusion of forms (cubic capitals, frieze of heart-shaped palmettes, and cross-ribbed vaulting) from Zadar to Dalmatia and to the continent under direct Hungarian ecclesiastical jurisdiction, provides a more complex picture. Firstly, one can discern the immediate and continuous influence visible in the city of Zadar (St. Thomas, St. Mary Maior, the cathedral). Furthermore, there is a homogenous group of churches on the territory newly subjected to the Church of Zadar (primarily on the island of Krk) following its elevation to the level of archbishopric in 1154. Finally, spread of the forms of Coloman's chapel to another group of churches (Gora, Szekesfehervar, Kaštel Gomilica) is related to its direct political conotations used by Hungarian church prelates or secular dignitaries. The importance of the city of Zadar and the monastery of St. Mary that caused Coloman's intervention is explained by the role of Zadar as the capital of Dalmatia since the 9th century, while the monastery gained importance through its role in the church reform, but also through the traditional ties with the family of Madii, and with Croatian king Petar Krešimir IV. It is interesting to note similar strategy of relating to the abbess that both kings used in order to strenghten their rule in Dalmatia. By relating to the monastery of St. Mary, primarily by inserting his royal chapel in its precinct, Coloman consciously followed the "traditions" of the Croatian ruler, the strategy which is discernible in other aspects of his rule as well.
Alimentarna kampilobakterioza najčešće je prijavljivana zoonoza u Europskoj uniji (EU), predstavlja jedan od vodećih javnozdravstvenih problema i uzrokuje ogromne financijske gubitke (EFSA-ECDC, 2015.). Pileće meso jedan je od najvažnijih izvora uzročnika ove bolesti u globalnim okvirima. U radu je opisana kontaminacija brojlerskih jata i pilećeg mesa bakterijama roda Campylobacter u Bosni i Hercegovini (BiH). Cilj rada bio je istražiti učestalost kontaminacije pilećih trupova uzorkovanih na liniji klanja nakon faze evisceracije kampilobakterijama. Pileći trupovi i jetra (n=84) uzorkovani su jednom mjesečno tijekom godine dana u jednoj od najsuvremenijih klaonica brojlera u BiH. S ciljem izolacije bakterija Campylobacter spp. iz svakog trupa u laboratoriju je uzet uzorak grudne musklulature, bris visceralne šupljine, kao i uzorak jetre (n=252). Onečišćenje kampilobakterijama utvrđeno je u 27,4 % (23/84) pilećih trupova, i to najčešće u pilećim prsima (19,0 %), nešto manje u visceralnoj šupljini (15,5 %), a najmanje u uzorcima pileće jetre (9,5 %). Ukupno, bakterije Campylobacter spp. izolirane su iz 37 uzoraka. Izrazita predominacija ustanovljena je za Campylobacter jejuni (91,9 %), dok je Campylobacter coli bila neznatno zastupljena (8,1 %). Rezultati ovog istraživanja podcrtavaju značaj pilećeg mesa kao potencijalnog izvora alimentarne kampilobakterioze i sugeriraju obveznu mikrobiološku kontrolu onečišćenja pilećeg mesa s bakterijama roda Campylobacter u BiH. ; Food-borne campylobacteriosis is the most frequently reported zoonosis in the European Union (EU), which represents one of the leading public health issues and causes enormous financial losses (EFSA-ECDC, 2015.). Chicken meat is one of the most important global sources of the disease. Campylobacter contaminations of broiler flocks and chicken meat in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) have been described. The aim of the study was to research the prevalence of campylobacter contamination of chicken carcasses and liver samples on slaughter line after the evisceration phase. Monthly sampling of chicken carcasses and liver was carried out along a year at one of the most recent broiler slaughterhouses in BiH (n=84). To isolate Campylobacter spp., from each carcass a deep sample of pectoral muscle, visceral cavity swab and liver (n=252) were taken. Campylobacter spp. contamination was detected in 27.4 % (23/84) of chicken carcasses. Out of the 252 analyzed samples, the most prevalent campylobacter contamination was observed in chicken breasts (19.0 %), less in visceral cavity (15.5 %), and the least in chicken liver (9.5 %). In total, Campylobacter spp. were isolated from 37 samples. C. jejuni was predominant (91.9 %), while C. coli was slightly represented (8.1 %). Results of the study underline the importance of chicken meat as a potential source of food-borne campylobacteriosis and suggest compulsory microbiological control of campylobacter contamination of chicken meat in BiH. ; Lebensmittelbedingte Infektionen durch Campylobacter sind die am häufigsten gemeldeten Zoonosen in der Europäischen Union (EU); sie zählen zu den führenden Problemen der öffentlichen Gesundheit und verursachen erhebliche finanzielle Verluste (EFSA-ECDC, 2015). Weltweit zählt Geflügelfleisch zu den wichtigsten Quellen dieser Krankheitserreger. In dieser Arbeit wurde die Kontamination von Masthähnchen und Hähnchenfleisch mit Campylobacter in Bosnien und Herzegowina beschreiben. Ziel der Studie war es, die Prävalenz der Kontamination der Hähnchenrümpfe, die auf dem Schlachtband nach der Ausweidung stichprobenartig untersucht wurden, mit Campylobacter festzustellen. In einem der modernsten Schlachthöfe in Bosnien und Herzegowina wurden ein Jahr monatliche Proben der Hähnchenrümpfe und Leber untersucht (n=84). Um die Campylobacter spp. zu isolieren, wurden aus jedem Rumpf Proben des Brustmuskels, ein Abstrich des viszeralen Hohlraums sowie eine Leberprobe (n=252) für das Labor entnommen. Die Kontamination mit Campylobacter spp. wurde bei 27,4 % (23/84) der Hähnchenrümpfe festgestellt. Unter den insgesamt 252 untersuchten Proben wurde die größte Prävalenz der Kontamination mit Campylobacter in der Hähnchenbrust (19,0 %) festgestellt, gefolgt vom viszeralen Hohlraum (15,5 %); der niedrigste Anteil wurde in der Hähnchenleber (9,5 %) festgestellt. Insgesamt wurden die Campylobacter spp. in 37 Proben isoliert. Eine ausgeprägte Prädominanz wurde bei C. jejuni (91,9 %) festgestellt, währen die C. coli nur geringfügig vertreten war (8,1 %). Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung unterstreichen die Relevanz von Hähnchenfleisch als potentielle Quelle der lebensmittelbedingten Infektionen mit Campylobacter und deuten auf eine unerlässliche mikrobiologische Kontrolle der Kontamination von Geflügelfleisch in Bosnien und Herzegowina durch Campylobacter hin. ; La campilobatteriosi alimentare è la zoonosi più frequentemente riscontrata nell'Unione europea (UE). Essa rappresenta uno dei problemi di salute pubblica più importanti e causa enormi perdite finanziarie (EFSA-ECDC, 2015). La carne di pollo è una delle fonti principali di questa infezione a livello globale. Nello studio è descritta la contaminazione da Campylobacter spp. delle batterie di polli da carne (i c.d. brojler) nella Bosnia ed Erzegovina (BiH). Lo studio aveva come scopo quello di accertare la prevalenza della contaminazione da Campylobacter spp. nelle carcasse di pollo campionate sulla linea di macellazione dopo la fase dell'eviscerazione. La campionatura mensile delle carcasse e dei fegati del pollo è stata compiuta durante l'arco di un anno in uno dei più moderni stabilimenti di macellazione di polli da carne della BiH (n=84). Al fine di isolare il Campylobacter spp., in laboratorio s'è provveduto a prelevare un campione della muscolatura del petto per ogni carcassa campionata, oltre a sottoporre le carcasse allo striscio della cavità viscerale ed al prelievo di un campione del fegato (n=252). La contaminazione da Campylobacter spp. è stata accertata nel 27,4 % (23/84) delle carcasse di pollo analizzate. Su un totale di 252 campioni analizzati, la massima contaminazione da Campylobacter spp. è stata riscontrata nel petto del pollo (19,0 %), un po' inferiore nella cavità viscerale (15,5 %) e minima nei campioni di fegato di pollo (9,5 %). In totale, il Campylobacter spp. è stato isolato in 37 campioni. Nei campioni contaminati è stata riscontrata la schiacciante predominanza del C. jejuni (91,9 %), mentre la presenza C. coli è stata ritenuta trascurabile (8,1 %). I risultati di questa ricerca sottolineano l'importanza della carne di pollo quale potenziale fonte della campilobatteriosi alimentare e suggeriscono la necessità di un controllo microbiologico obbligatorio per accertare la contaminazione da Campylobacter spp. della carne di pollo in BiH. ; La campilobacteriosis alimentaria es la zoonosis más común en la Union Europea (UE) y representa uno de los problemas principales de salud que causa grandes pérdidas financiales (EFSA-ECDC, 2015). La carne de pollo es uno de los causantes principales de esta enfermedad a nivel mundial. En este trabajo fue descrita la contaminación de los rebaños de los broiler y del pollo por el Campylobacter en Bosnia y Herzegovina. El objetivo de este estudio fue investigar la prevalencia de la contaminación de los abdómenes de pollo por el Campylobacter en la línea de matanza después de la fase de evisceración. Durante un año, mensualmente fueron tomadas las muestras de los abdómenes de pollo y del hígado en uno de los mataderos más modernos en Bosnia y Herzegovina (n=84). Con el fin de aislar el Campylobacter spp. de cada abdomen fueron tomadas las muestras de la musculatura pectoral, el frotis de la cavidad visceral y la muestra del hígado (n=252) en laboratorio. La contaminación por el Campylobacter spp. fue encontrada en 27,4 % (23/84) de los abdómenes de pollo. Entre 252 muestras analizadas, la prevalencia mayor de la contaminación por el Campylobacter spp. fue encontrada en la pechuga de pollo (19,0 %), menor en la cavidad visceral (15,5 %) y la menor en las muestras de hígado (9,5 %). El Campylobacter spp. fue aislado de 37 muestras en total. Prevaleció el C. jejuni (91,9 %), mientras el C. coli casi no estaba presente (8,1 %). Los resultados de esta investigación muestran la importancia del pollo como una fuente potencial de campilobacteriosis alimentaria y sugieren el control microbiológico obligatorio de la contaminación por el Campylobacter del pollo en Bosnia y Herzegovina.
Uvod: U Republici Hrvatskoj zakon ne predviđa darovanje organa nakon cirkulacijske smrti iako je ono često u pojedinim drugim državama. Cilj: utvrditi koliko je mogućih darovatelja bubrega nakon cirkulacijske smrti bilo u jednogodišnjem razdoblju (2012.) u Kliničkome bolničkom centru Osijek (KBCO). Nacrt istraživanja: presječno istraživanje. Ispitanici i postupci: ispitanici su bili preminule osobe (N=1652) primljene na Zavod za patologiju KBCO tijekom 2012. Procjenjivalo se zadovoljavaju li Maastrichtske kriterije za darovanje organa nakon cirkulacijske smrti. Podaci su preuzeti iz medicinske dokumentacije i statistički obrađeni u SPSS-u. Rezultati: Maastrichtske kriterije zadovoljilo je 215 ispitanika (13 %), 53 od tih ispitanika isključeno je zbog kontraindikacija za transplantaciju (TX), te je konačan broj mogućih darovatelja bio 162 (10 %). Medijan dobi bio je 72 godine (42-91), a 83 od 162 (51 %) bilo je muškoga spola. Najčešći su uzroci smrti srčanožilne bolesti (78 %), a najviše mogućih darovatelja nakon cirkulacijske smrti preminulo je na Klinici za internu medicinu (42 %). Najčešće zadovoljeni Maastrichtski kriterij je bio drugi (88 %, neuspješna reanimacija). Nije utvrđena statistički značajna udruženost pojedinih Maastrichtskih kriterija sa spolom niti s dobi. U značajno ranijoj životnoj dobi preminuli su muški ispitanici. Zaključak: broj mogućih darovatelja bubrega nakon cirkulacijske smrti tijekom godine dana u KBCO bio je 162. Mogućnost darovanja nakon cirkulacijske smrti mogla bi povećati broj mogućih darovatelja bubrežnih presadaka i još više poboljšati uspjeh TX u Republici Hrvatskoj. Na razini KBCO može se reći da bi se broj TX s mogućim darovateljima mogao povećati i do 27 puta (otprilike je aktualno 12 TX godišnje, uz mogućnost po dvije bubrežne TX od jednoga darovatelja), premda bi vjerojatno manje tih darovatelja bilo i ostvareno, s obzirom na njihovu stariju životnu dob te moguće protivljenje obitelji darovanju organa. ; Introduction: In the Republic of Croatia organ donation after circulatory death (DCD) is not regulated by law, although this practice is well represented in some other countries. Goal of the research: To determine how many potential donors after circulatory death were eligible during the one-year period (2012) at University Hospital Centre Osijek (UHCO). Study design: cross-sectional study. Examinees and methods: The examinees included 1652 deceased persons who were admitted to the Department of Pathology of the UHCO during 2012. They were assessed for meeting the Maastricht criteria for organ DCD. Data were taken from medical documentation and statistically analyzed by SPSS. Results: 215 examinees met the Maastricht criteria (13 %), 53 of them were excluded due to the contraindications for donation, thus the final number of potential DCD was 162 (10 %). The median age was 72 years (range 42-91), and 83 (51 %) of 162 were males. The most common causes of death were cardiovascular diseases (78 %), and the highest number of potential DCD died at the Department of Internal Medicine (42 %). The most commonly met Maastricht criterion was the criterion 2 (88 %, unsuccessful resuscitation). Only one examinee met Maastricht criteria 1. Statistically significant association of particular Maastricht criteria with sex or age was not found. The examinees of male gender died at an earlier age. Conclusion: the number of potential DCD in a single year at the UHCO was 162, of which 161 were for kidney donation. Transplantation (TX) from DCD would increase the number of potential donor kidney transplants and further enhance the success of TX in Croatia. At the level of UHCO the number of kidney TX with those donors could increase up to 27 times (considering 12 kidney TX annually so far and 2 possible kidneys from a single DCD), although in reality probably less of those DCD would be realized, due to their old age and possibility of their families refusing the organ donation.
U ovome radu analiziramo primjere računalnoga nazivlja prikupljene iz hrvatskih sveučilišnih nastavnih materijala izdanih od 2001. do 2015. godine preporučenih studentima na preddiplomskom i diplomskom studiju računarstva na jednome hrvatskom sveučilištu. Prikupljeni korpus uključuje hrvatske prevedenice, samostalne neologizme, ali i one praćene engleskom istovrijednicom, zatim prevedenice engleskih metaforičkih izraza, hibridne izraze bez prijevoda, ortografski, fonološki/fonetski i morfološki prilagođene anglizme i one koji se uklapaju u hrvatski sustav bez prilagodbe, višerječne hrvatske nazive s jednorječnim engleskim i one sa složenom engleskom istovrijednicom. Neki od engleskih izraza u tekstu grafički su istaknuti kurzivom ili masnim slovima, a neki nisu. Cilj analize bio je opisati jezične prakse u nastavnim materijalima, utvrditi kakav je odnos autorâ prema stručnim nazivima iz engleskoga i hrvatskoga jezika u znanstveno-pedagoškome stilu te postoji li nekakav obrazac koji autori slijede pri pisanju nastavnih materijala. Nakon provedene analize primjećujemo nedostatak dosljednosti i sustavnog pristupa u pisanju materijala, odmak od normi hrvatskoga standardnog jezika te pribjegavanje neprilagođenim ili neznatno prilagođenim engleskim nazivima koji često imaju prednost pred hrvatskima. Smatramo da bi planiranje korpusa te bolje upravljanje terminologijom, procesima prilagodbe i integracije u okviru suvremenije jezične politike mogli unijeti stabilnost u znanstveni funkcionalni stil hrvatskoga jezika nužnu njegovim korisnicima. ; This paper analyzes examples of ICT terminology sampled from Croatian university textbooks and educational materials published from the year 2001 to 2015 and recommended for undergraduate and graduate students at Croatian universities. The collection includes: Croatian calques; standalone neologisms and those followed by an English equivalent; translated English metaphorical expressions; hybrids without translations; orthographically, phonologically/phonetically and morphologically adapted Anglicisms and those which can be integrated into the Croatian standard without any adaptation; and multi-word Croatian equivalents with single-word English and with multi-word English equivalents. Some of the English expressions were italicized or bolded and some not. The aim of our analysis was to describe current practices in writing educational materials, to establish the nature of the university materials authors' relation towards English and Croatian expressions, and to find out if there was some pattern in the use of Croatian and English ICT terms which the authors had followed. During the analysis, we observed a lack of consistent and systematic approach to the creation of materials, a shift from the norms of the standard Croatian language and resorting to non-adapted or slightly adapted English terms which seem to be often favored over the Croatian ones. We are of the opinion that corpus planning and better management of terminology, adaptation and integration processes within a more modern language policy framework could bring much needed stability to the Croatian scientific and pedagogical register.
Sveučilište u Zagrebu Tekstilno-tehnološki fakultet (u nastavku Fakultet) međunarodno je priznata obrazovna i znanstvena institucija te vodeća nacionalna i regionalna visokoškolska i istraživačka ustanova u području tekstilnog inženjerstva i tehnologije te modnog dizajna. Fakultet je prepoznatljiv po inovacijama koje su osnova za prijenos znanja u gospodarstvo i temelj njegova razvoja. Znanstvena i umjetnička istraživanja usmjerena su potrebama društvenog i gospodarskog razvoja, a nastavni je proces usklađen s potrebama tržišta rada i društva. Većina nastavnika Fakulteta djeluje u tehničkom području, polje tekstilne tehnologije čiji se rad nadopunjuje i isprepliće s radom nastavnika u umjetničkom, prirodoslovnom, društvenom i humanističkom području te ostalim poljima unutar tehničkog područja s ciljem sinergije, jačanja međusobne povezanosti i interdisciplinarnosti ne samo nastavnog nego i znanstveno-istraživačkog, umjetničkog i stručnog rada. Rad Fakulteta i njegova prepoznatljivost, u regiji i svijetu, temelji se na 60-godišnjem iskustvu u izvođenju tekstilnog studija na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu te 30-godišnjem samostalnom djelovanju Fakulteta kao sastavnice Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. U ovih je 60 godina Fakultet dao vrijedan doprinos razvoju gospodarskog sektora u području proizvodnje tekstila, odjeće, kože i obuće, prvenstveno obrazovanjem visokokvalitetnih diplomiranih inženjera, inženjera, sveučilišnih prvostupnika inženjera i magistara inženjera, ali i provođenjem međunarodnih i nacionalnih znanstvenih, razvojno-istraživačkih, tehnologijskih i stručnih projekata. Postojeće stanje i pozicija Fakulteta u zemlji, regiji, EU-u i svijetu proizašlo je iz razvojnih vizija svih uprava i djelatnika koji su kontinuirano radili na unapređenju nastavnog, znanstveno- istraživačkog, umjetničkog i stručnog rada. Prva strategija razvoja Fakulteta usvojena je 2014. godine za razdoblje 2014. - 2020. te su prvi put uvedeni pokazatelji za praćenje učinaka po pojedinim područjima djelovanja. Ovaj je dokument strateški okvir razvoja nastavne, znanstveno-istraživačke, inovacijske, umjetničke i stručne djelatnosti Fakulteta te razvoja organizacije i poslovanja, infrastrukture i sustava osiguranja kvalitete za razdoblje od 2021. do 2027. godine. Strategija razvoja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu Tekstilno-tehnološkog fakulteta izrađena je u skladu s dokumentima Europske komisije, Vlade Republike Hrvatske i Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, a to su: • Program "Obzor Europa" – Okvirni program za istraživanja i inovacije (2021. - 2027.) • Dokument Europske komisije o Održivoj Europi do 2030. (A Sustainable Europe by 2030) • Strategija Europskog zelenog plana (The European Green Deal) • Nova industrijska strategija za Europu (A New Industrial Strategy for Europe) • Strategija istraživanja, transfera tehnologije i inovacija Sveučilišta u Zagrebu • Strategija obrazovanja, znanosti i tehnologije Republike Hrvatske. Strategija razvoja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu Tekstilno-tehnološkog fakulteta za razdoblje 2021. - 2027. usvojena je na 11. redovitoj sjednici Fakultetskog vijeća održanoj 20. rujna 2021. godine. ; University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology (hereinafter: the Faculty) is an internationally recognized educational and scientific institution and a leading national and regional higher education and research institution in the field of textile engineering, textile technology and fashion design. The Faculty is recognizable for its innovations, which are the foundation for knowledge transfer into the economy and its development. Scientific and artistic research is focused on the needs of social and economic development, and the teaching process is harmonised with the needs of the labour market and the society. Most faculty teachers operate in the technical field and the field of textile technology, and their work is complemented and intertwined with the work of teachers in artistic, natural, social and humanistic and other fields with the aim of creating synergy, strengthening cooperation and interdisciplinarity not only in teaching, but also in scientific research, artistic and professional work. The work of the Faculty and its recognisability in the region and the world are based on 60 years of experience in conducting textile studies at the University of Zagreb and 30 years of independent work of the Faculty as a component of the University of Zagreb. In these 60 years, the Faculty has made a valuable contribution to the development of the economic sector in the field of textile, clothing, leather and footwear production, primarily by educating high-quality graduate engineers, university bachelors and master engineers, but also by implementing international and national scientific, developmental, research, technological and professional projects. The existing state and position of the Faculty in the country, the region, the EU and the world, stems from the developmental visions of all departments and employees who have continuously worked on improvement in teaching, scientific research, artistic and professional work. The first Strategy for the Development of the Faculty was adopted in 2014 for the period 2014-2020, and this document is the first to introduce indicators for monitoring the effects by individual areas of activity. This document is a strategic framework for the development of teaching, scientific research, innovation, artistic and professional activities of the Faculty and the development of organization and business, infrastructure and quality assurance system for the period from 2021 to 2027. The Development Strategy of the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology has been drafted in accordance with the documents of the European Commission, the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the University of Zagreb: • Horizon Europe — the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2021- 2027) • European Commission Sustainable Europe by 2030 • The European Green Deal Strategy • The New Industrial Strategy for Europe • Research, Technology Transfer and Innovation Strategy of the University of Zagreb • Strategy of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Croatia. The Development Strategy of the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology for the period 2021-2027 was adopted at the 11th regular session of the Faculty Council, held on 20th September 2021.
