Estoicismo y política: líneas de confrontación ; Stoicism and politics: lines of confrontation
This article argues that there is a sharp opposition in Stoicism between two lines of polit cal thought: the opposition has its source in the abstract and utopian Zeno´s Politeia. This work would contain incentives for different and opposing developments that probably, materialize?, probably, in Persaois of Kition and Sphaerus of Borysthenes first, secondly, then in Diogenes of Babylon and Antipater of Tarsus, and, finally, in Panaetius of Rhodes and Blossius of Cumae.

The Quest for Enosis: The visit of the Greek Cypriot Deputation to London in October–November 1929. A view from the Greek archives ; Thetis Mannheimer Beiträge zur Klassischen Archäologie und Geschichte Griechenlands und Zyperns
The signature of the Lausanne Peace Treaty ?n 24 July 1923 marked the beginning of a new period in the history of the Cyprus Question, at least from a legal point of view, as Turkey officially recognized the annexation of the island proclaimed by Great Britain on 5 November 1914. However, the dedication of the Greek Cypriot majority to the ideal of Union (Enosis) with Greece remained unchanged. The Greek Cypriots continued to hope that sooner or later London would consent to their demands. Thus, immediately after the British elections of 30 May 1929, the Greek Cypriots decided to compile a new Memorial, which they would submit to the Secretary for the Colonies, asking for Union with Greece. For this reason, the Bishop of Kition Nikodemos (Mylonas) and the lawyer Stavros Stavrinakis, both elected members of the Legislative Council, were entrusted to travel to London, where they would act as ''ambassadors'' of the unredeemed Greek Cypriot people. The Deputes were assisted in their task by Zenon Rossides, who acted as the secretary of the Deputation. The article, based on research in the archives of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs studies the visit of the Greek Cypriot Deputation to London in autumn 1929, the way Greek diplomacy was involved in the whole matter and the consequences of the visit in relation to the evolution of the Cyprus Question in the interwar period.

Craftsmanship and the cultural/political identity of the Cypriote kingdoms : the case of Idalion and Tamassos
; Epigraphic documents attest that the two neighbouring, inland sites, Idalion and Tamassos, were kingdoms during the Cypro-Archaic period, and that-within an interval of nearly a century - they were both incorporated by the kingdom of Kition during the Cypro-Classical period, thereby losing their independent status. The geographical position of Idalion and Tamassos must have been both a blessing and a curse: while the two polities could thrive on the exploitation of the nearby copper mines, they also had to withstand the economic interest of other Cypriote polities in these natural resources. In addition, we may assume that, because of their inland position, Idalion and Tamassos were forced to seek economic collaboration with polities that had direct access to the sea for the export and exchange of commodities beyond the island. We may further expect that the control of ore-mining and forestry activities must have been a potential source of territorial strife between the two inland kingdoms. Therefore, the geo-economic reality likely induced Idalion and Tamassos to a dualistic relationship of being both allies and competitors. .
