This article proposes an articulation between the conceptions of information literacy and a cultural and social approach of critical thinking, implemented through an original methodological approach of analysis and cartography of controversies. We begin by discussing some dimensions of the digital environment that affect the definition and consideration of the fields of Information Literacy (IL) and Critical Thinking (CI) and their articulation. We go on to present a state of the literature on critical thinking that reflects divergent visions. We extend this reflection by proposing a synthesis of the convergences between the concepts of information literacy and critical thinking and a form of articulation between the two fields. Subsequently, we present a reflexive analysis of our teachings on controversies at university since 2014, and which constitute an adequate support for teaching our cultural, social and creative approach of critical thinking.

The cultural dimension of the attack on Charlie Hebdo raises questions about the meaning of the event in terms of public policies on art and culture. At issue particulary is the re-situation of those policies in their relationship with democratic achievement in the context of the French republican model. Analysis through the prism of cultural mediation, considered as a communication process designed to produce a symbolic type of work, casts new light on the objectives and the ways and means of implementing such policies.

What is solidarity economy? This question, central, allows keeping the question of the scope of the economy. So, this text tackles, in a more global approach of deconstruction of the orthodox economics and the construction of one new paradigm of solidarity economy, the deliberalism. To understand this approach, it is necessary to return to our starting point: the economics is one of the components of the democratic society (the two others being politics and symbolism). From then, the economics is not any more a mathematical science studying the allocation of the rare resources, but a social science analysing the monetary exchanges. In this theoretical frame, the diversity of the researches in solidarity economy is an asset. This diversity opens heuristic tracks allowing renewing profoundly the socio economic analysis.

Current political and religious tensions in France threaten national cohesion. The main point is the break of reciprocity link between citizens and public institutions they finance. The systemic analysis at the heart of this work reveals close relations that these institutions maintain among themselves through recent judicial affairs on religious signs in public places. These privileged links are reflected in a common discourse on secularism that substitutes public debate and ignores the institutional guarantees of peace.

While the statistical results of the project about empty housing in Wallonia (Belgium) are mainly communicated from a scientific point of view, the media give their autonomy to these results, offering them to the civil society. It appears that this mediatized treatment of the statistical results occurred following parliamentary questions at the Walloon Parliament about the empty housing issue, notably in relation to a public policy waiting for its execution order. On the basis of an exhaustive corpus (from the media and the parliamentary questions), we analyse the influence of this autonomy on the extended Phase of the research, precisely financed in relation to the implementation of the above mentioned public policy.

By using the concept of public sphere this article analyzes the dynamics of publicization the French nuclear power controversy by social movement. I recount the emergence of the antinuclear phenomenon since the sixties, its deployment across multiple oppositional public spheres, and its repercussions on the dynamics of public sphere until the year 2010. I highlight the ongoing interaction, over the decades, between oppositional public spheres and the established public sphere. This interaction results in a crossed process of empowerment and institutionalization of the action of social movements.

The action-research Ecogestes aimed at improving the communication strategy used by the « ambassadors of the sea » to promote Mediterranean littoral preservation behaviors among sea users. With an experimental approach, a new methodology was devised and its impact was evaluated. Throughout the presentation of this action-research, we will illustrate the way researchers chose to control experimental variables and reduce noise in observed effects.

Because the organization has been, since a long time ago, analyzed as an open system, it necessarily includes communicational problematics which transcend it. Key issues that the organization reflects refers too to issues, ever discussed in other places. For example, the development of interactive corporate sites challenges the definition of public spaces, which has already been questioned for its symbolic dimension, reduced to the level of an event democracy, for example in the case territorial communication. Interactivity proclaimed still raises the question of the exploitation of the diversity displayed by the company, the French pragmatic sociology has already critically debated the intentionality and reference to the connectionist society within the project-based-City. In some ways convincing with regard to the application of scientific tools already tested elsewhere, analogies let open, however, the question of modeling, when the environment is playing along with its own cultural characteristics, as it is in the case of business sites in Tunisia.
