This paper aims to analyze how Juan Goytisolo (Barcelona, 1931) combines together the narrative practices of television and his performative and metanarrative writing in La saga de los Marx (1993). The author uses that hybrid prose for two principal purposes: on one hand he criticizes the figure of Karl Marx and the dictatorial application of his theories by some governments, claiming for the need to avoid the widespread ahistorical vision created by the too often announced "end of History"; and, on the other hand, emphasizing the ironic approach inherited from Cervantes, he paradoxically uses some audiovisual genres ‒such as documentaries, docudramas, TV series and talk shows‒ to revitalize literature in a postmodern society that relies too much on technologies.

RS gaia Auzitegiak emandako azken epaietako bat da, Zuzenbide
Estatuari buruzko aintzat ez hartutako errumaniar sagaren esparruan. Europako
beste homologo batzuekin batera, Errumaniako Konstituzio Auzitegia argi eta
garbi ari da zalantzan jartzen Europako ordenamendu juridikoaren oinarri diren
postulatuetako batzuk. Jurisdikzio konstituzionalen kopuru gero eta handiagoari
gehitu behar zaio, hori Luxenburgoko lehentasunaren printzipioa eta haren interpretazio-
ahalmena aurkaratzen ari baita. Horretarako, Europar Batasuneko
Zuzenbidearen eraginkortasunerako, uniformetasunerako eta koherentziarako bateraezinak
diren identitate nazionalaren artikulazio kezkagarriaz baliatzen dira. Artikulu
honek Errumaniako KAren eta EBJAren arteko hainbat desadostasun judizial
jorratu nahi ditu, arreta berezia jarriz SA kasuari, horietan agerian geratzen baitira
Zuzenbide Estatuaren krisi latzak Europako sistema juridikoaren printzipio elementalenetan
eragindako ondorio kaltegarriak.
The RS case is one of the latest rulings issued by the Court of
Justice in the neglected Romanian rule of law saga. Together with other European
counterparts, the Romanian Constitutional Court is openly questioning some basic
postulates on which the European legal order is based. It joins a growing number
of constitutional jurisdictions that are challenging the Luxembourgian conception
of the principle of primacy and its interpretative authority. They use for this purpose
a worrying articulation of national identity in terms that are incompatible with the
effectiveness, uniformity and coherence of Union law. This article aims to address
a series of judicial disagreements between the Romanian Constitutional Court and
the CJEU, with particular attention to the RS case, in which it becomes evident
the pernicious consequences of the tough crisis of the rule of law for the most
elementary principles of the European legal system.

Editeur autorise diffusion de la version scané de l'article ; International audience ; The text sets out from a fourfold concept of Eurocentrism developed in postcolonial studies and global history. Against this backdrop, it traces the treatment of non-Western societies throughout Marx's work. His 1853 articles on India are shown to be Eurocentric in every respect. They are partially based on a travel narrative by François Bernier. Bernier's text is analyzed in some detail as one of Marx's sources. Marx's treatment of the 1857-59 Indian rebellions also displays Eurocentric features. His writings on British colonialism, in Ireland, however, begin to break with the Eurocentric mold. The Marxian critique of political economy, in contrast, teems with Orientalist motifs. Marx's late work is quite different in this respect: in the excerpts from his reading that he made from 1879 on, as well as in his discussions with the Russian Social Revolutionaries, he breaks with Eurocentrism. The development of Marx's thought shows that the hasty dismissal of him often observed in postcolonial studies is not carefully thought out. Yet the fact remains that Marxists who attempt to think global capitalism, historical progress and contingent development have something to learn from postcolonial studies.
