In this study, Kemal Tahir's thoughts on Marxism and socialism are discussed in comparison with the left orthodoxy of the 1960s. The main motivating factor for the study is that Kemal Tahir's distinctive features from the orthodoxy of the period in terms of his thoughts on Marxism and socialism and the emphasis on his criticism will make an important contribution to the literature. Therefore, it focuses on the question "What are the features that differentiate Kemal Tahir's view of Marxism and socialism from his contemporary intellectuals?". Due to the characteristics of his intellectual heritage, the study has been prepared through the literature review based on careful examination of primary sources and the comparative method that provides determining the context of the data. The main argument put forward by the study is that what makes Kemal Tahir original and different in terms of his thoughts and criticisms is his understanding of Marxism in particular, and of science or scientific way of thinking in general sense. From the point of the socialist thoughts and movements, this study that presents the left orthodoxy of the 1960s on issues such as Marxism, socialism, society, the issue of development, the strategy of power and the envisioned socialist order within a theoretical and conceptual framework consisting of "high modernism", "scientism" and "political religions" contains the ideas of the party and opinion leaders of the three most representative and influential formations of the 1960s: Turkish Labour Party, National Democratic Revolution Movement and Yön (Destination) Movement. While Kemal Tahir's thoughts differ from these formations at some certain points, it should also be emphasized that despite all its differences, they have a paradigmatic similarity with the orthodoxy of the period in terms of her modernization strategy based on the distinction between culture and civilization.
; The left wing meets the criticism of the economic, political and social system, the desire to change the existing system, the liberation and the initiative to establish a new life, management day of becoming a political position. Socialism and communism, which are evaluated within the context of the extreme left, also focused on the criticism of the deficiencies and imbalances of capitalism and the radical change of capitalism form the society as a from of production. In Marxist theory, radical change, revolution, is considered as the transition of political power from one class to another class in the state apparatus and the leap of the mode of production that dominates society to an advanced stage. The content of the extreme left political activities in Turkey constitutes this goal. On the other hand, the differences of opinion observed on the extreme left arise from the different answers given to the questions of what to do to reach the final goal. These surrounds occurred by weathering and extreme left organizations Marxism's theoretical legacy of Turkey's economic political, and social conditions and social classes, internal and external conjuncture have interpreted the term in different ways. And a result, they developed different methods of revolution, which showed disconnections from each other but fed from similar conditions. The years between 1960-1971 highlight the extreme left circles and organizations in Turkey which constitutes Yön magazine environment, the National Democratic Revolution line, the People's Liberation Army Of Turkey, Turkey People's Liberation Party- Front, The Communist Party Of Turkey / Marxist – Leninists, and Workers Party Of Turkey.
Bu iki dönem arasındaki fark, sosyalist iktidarın geçirdiği uluslararası reel politik evrelerle ilgili olduğu gibi sınıfsız topluma gidişte siyaset-yönetim ilişkilerine yöntemsel yaklaşımdan da kaynaklanmaktadır ; The problem of administration in socialism is related to the relations between politics and administration in political organizations that aimed at a classless society. Through analysis of the development of class societies, Marxism came to the conclusion that the classless society was politically feasible. However, structuralist and historicist interpretations of Marxism generated different approaches towards the relations between politics and administration. These approaches are related with the subjectivity-objectivity relation in the approach on class struggles and they have influenced the ...
; Claude Lefort mentions that he will raise political philosophy against the thoughts of the political science, Marxism and the New Philosophers (Les Nouveaux Philosophes). According to Lefort, these three thoughts being the political (le politique) and having not been analyzed sufficiently led them miss out totalitarianism which he calls as 'the major political fact of our time'. Lefort tells that totalitarianism is not a phenomenon having been experienced and finished in certain period of time. Due to the empty place of power (le lieu vide du pouvoir) feature of democracy, it is a regime open to the truth of totalitarianism materializing again. Therefore, according to Lefort, only if totalitarianism, the absolute negation of democracy, is resolved, it will be possible to reach democracy and its' acquisitions and we can stand against totalitarian temptation. In this article, the division (la division) and associated with the conflict (le conflit) and 'the dissolution of the markers of certainty' (la dissolution des repères de la certitude) that Lefort sees as the two characteristics of modern democracy will be discussed along with the sources in thinkers' various readings. Furthermore, along with the explanation of these two characteristics, we will try to address the criticism of the political science, Marxism and New Philosophers, the thinker who is after the 'the signs of the political' brought.
Oysa demokrasi genel bir kavramdı, ülkeye, sınıfa, millete has demokrasi olamazdı. Fakat bu ülkelerde devam eden değişimler her hangi bir kesin sistemden bahsetmenin erken olduğunu kanıtlıyor.SUMMARYAfter 15 republics separated from the Soviet Union, struggle had went on in Russian Federation to reach democracy and freedom. As a result of some democratic phenomenon assured in The Republic of Azerbaijan which was the most important part of the fight from the beginning, independence had been declared and this was the first step for a contemporary country .To reach liberation was important after that long period of slavery and dictatorship but also to understand the idea of democracy and take lessons from the history was essential and vital. Democracy had always been the base of the nations' contention in the history. But Marxism had explained democracy in a wrong way and showed it as the intelligence of the social groups. But history proved that this idea is against the nature of human being. Cause democracy was a general concept and would not have belonged to a country, a social group or a nation. USSR was dominating all nations in the Union. Any objection used to be removed even through against law actions. Also Federative Republics' rights were limited and controlled. But it was not always possible to dominate people with creating fear over them. And people had started to ask themselves the reason of their poor life's although they lived in a country which is very rich in terms of natural sources. As a result; Soviet Union had started to collapse in the years of 70.If we look at the reason of Union's collapse, we first face with the system of common prietorship which is the vital part of the economy. This system had prepared the base of the collapse causing people lose their idea of ownership and pushing them to stealing, lying and bribery.Single political party was protected by the military authoritarian police system. The gap between the government and the citizen was becoming biger and biger every day.In the social area; everybody was considered equal as the result of social equality which was ruining social justice principles In the field of ideology; Marxism and Leninism were accepted and taught as the sole theory representing community phenomenon. If we examine Azerbaijan's situation in the Union we can say that Soviet Union had not affected this country in a positive way. The basic natural source of Azerbaijan was petroleum which was sold in the world market very cheap and the profit was running to Moskow directly. After the occupation of Azerbaijan in 1920 ,48 thousand of people were killed, 80 thousand had migrated to the land of Azerbaijan which was left to Iran. After 1988 all Azerbaijani population was driven away from Armenia. In 70 years allocation of the population had been changed on purpose to prevent any possible independence fight against the Union.Unfortunately after the Union collapsed , totalitarian opinion and government system is still going on in the Republics that separated from the Union like being in Azerbaijan.During the Soviet period Human Rights was called as the bourgeois theory and never been taught in the Universities. Not until the end of 80's human rights were included in the socialist mechanism. As a result, in Azerbaijan , short past of country's independence is still being used as the reason of limiting people's rights. Although freedom of press was arranged by the constitution in 1995, there are still blank lines and pages in the newspapers.War and interruption of the economic relations as a result of Union's collapse are still used as the defence of the above examples of misrule.
