The relationship between science and public policy has always been controversial. On one hand, science has a dynamic guided by scientific reasoning, while public policies are guided by the competitive logic of political game. The following presentation is structured by answering four main questions: the first; what kind of science should be listened to?; the second, who should listen to what?; the third, do those who should listen really listen? and fourth, should scientists be involved in politics? ; La relación entre la ciencia y las políticas públicas siempre ha sido controvertida. Por un lado, la ciencia tiene una dinámica orientada por el razonamiento científico, mientras que las políticas públicas están orientadas por la lógica competitiva del juego político. La siguiente presentación fue desarrollada respondiendo cuatro preguntas principales: la primera; ¿qué tipo de ciencia debe ser escuchada?", la segunda, ¿quién debería escuchar qué?, la tercera, ¿aquellos que deberían escuchar realmente lo hacen?; y la cuarta, ¿deberían los científicos deberían involucrarse en la política?

The following article summarizes the meta-analysis of policies towards gender equality in science and research across Europe spanning the years 1980 to 2008. Observed overarching trends in the research literature are summarized, including the impact of higher education restructuring on gender equality in science and research and measures for advancing women's science careers. The article closes by stressing three key challenges: first, the integration of gender policy assessment with theories of social change; second, the gendering of innovation policy; and third, re-addressing the question of power and political struggle in relation to policy.

In Argentina, the politics of economic globalization developed from the 1990s was characterized by economic liberalization and its reorientation towards external markets. But substantial technological modernization and adjustment policies eventually produce rising unemployment and reduced spending on social benefits. Public policies are interpreted only action the social sectors, biased state capacity to respond to the effects caused by the economic policies and reducing its performance to emergency situations. Social policies arising from these policies were characterized by a high cost allocated budget for implementation and results do little to solve the problems of poverty. Social programs have become a social control mechanism, through which actors with greater power have a strong influence to legitimate perspectives and ideologies in the areas of poverty. Focused in this way, the field of social assistance ends up producing a bureaucratization of public policy and a higher profile fragmented characterized by the breakdown of the actions, the lack of competition and unequal distribution of resources. ; En Argentina, la política de globalización económica desarrollada a partir de la década de 1990 se caracterizó por la apertura económica y su reorientación hacia el mercado externo. Pero, la modernización tecnológica importante y políticas de ajuste que terminaron produciendo el aumento del desempleo y la reducción del gasto público en coberturas sociales. Las políticas públicas se interpretaron sólo a la acción de los sectores sociales, parcializando la capacidad del Estado de responder a los efectos ocasionados por las políticas económicas y reduciendo su actuación a situaciones de emergencias. The objective of this work is to define and base the principles of environmental management through the introduction of regenerative (restorative) and productive methods of environmental policy. The problems were solved with the help of such general and special research methods, such as generalization, systematization, analysis, synthesis, and the empirical method. It is argued that the operation of industrial enterprises without a balanced set of appropriate environmental measures always has negative consequences. The formation of environmental awareness of entrepreneurs, assigning to environmental management the status of a mandatory component of the policy to achieve regional environmental objectives, requires greater attention and effective methodological developments. The strategic directions of ecological development of one of the regions of Ukraine are indicated. The essence of the concept of "environmental management" is defined. The definition of "regenerative method of ecological management" and "productive method of ecological management" is offered. In conclusion, scientific ideas on the feasibility of implementing environmental management in companies are presented. The need for ecological measures for the implementation of ecological policy is based.

Grecia es el "paraíso" de las bolsas de plástico, constituyendo uno de los Estados miembros de la Unión Europea con mayor índice per cápita de consumo de bolsas de plástico desechables, pero recientemente ha podido disminuir el número de las bolsas ligeras de plástico mediante una tasa ambiental. En América Latina las políticas públicas han ganado un lugar significativo tantoen los discursos políticos como en la academia. Prácticamente desconocido hasta finalesde la década de 1980, el concepto de política pública es hoy un lugar común paraseñalar el trabajo gubernamental en pro de resolver, mitigar o regular algún problemao asunto público, o para invocar su necesidad. Su desarrollo académico —y por tanto,su enseñanza— no se encuentra desligado de las concepciones que prevalecen enmateria de relaciones entre Estado y sociedad, y de perspectivas epistemológicas. Esteartículo sintetiza la evolución del campo de estudio y el contexto de su introducción enAmérica Latina y Colombia; luego, a partir del análisis de los contenidos curricularesy bibliográficos de las asignaturas de pregrado en las carreras de Ciencia Política yafines de diecinueve universidades, se busca caracterizar el campo del análisis depolíticas públicas en Colombia. Los resultados de la investigación muestran la fuertepresencia del enfoque neorracionalista y de la importancia de los libros de textos enespañol publicados en Colombia, concluyendo con una discusión relativa a la posibleautonomización institucional del análisis de políticas públicas. ; Policy analysis —as a specific field of study and training in political science—has known an important development in the last two decades in Latin America. Thearticle synthesizes the stages and the context of the general development of this fieldof study focusing on Latin America and Colombia. The author seeks to characterizethe field of policy analysis in Colombia starting from the analysis of curricula,course content, the bibliographic material employed in the undergraduate careers ofPolitical Science, as well as through the consideration of the theoretical approaches,methodologies, and the most referenced texts and authors in the programs. Theresults of the research show a strong presence of the neo-rationalist approach andthe wide use of textbooks in Spanish language published in Colombia. The articleconcludes with a discussion on the institutional autonomy of public policy analysisin the country.
