Beim Schleifen mehrphasiger Werkstoffe mit sprödhartem Charakter, beispielsweise Hartmetall, wurde ein Übergang von sprödhartem zu duktilem Werkstoffverhalten nachgewiesen. Der Fachartikel stellt eine neu entwickelte Methodik zur systematischen Analyse des Zerspanverhaltens – im Speziellen den Übergang von vorwiegend duktilem zu überwiegend sprödhartem Zerspanverhalten – für Hartmetalle vor. In grinding of multi-phase, brittle materials, e. g. cemented carbides, a transition from predominantly brittle to predominantly ductile material behavior has been proven scientifically. This paper presents a newly developed methodology to analyze the material behavior of cemented carbides, in particular the transition from ductile to brittle material behavior.
The analysis of the content of local periodicals makes it possible to indicate two types of women's issues. One presents both historical as well as modern images of women, while the other discusses women's issues in relation to political, economic and social phenomena and events. The author of the paper attempts to answer the question of what women have found interesting and what they want to read about; whether we are dealing with sexism in the local press; whether publications on women's issues are more frequently written by men or women; whether there is a set division of positions and competences available to women in the operation of the local press and whether the fact that editors-in-chief are women influences the quality and quantity of women's topics discussed. The conclusions corroborate the main hypothesis, namely that although there are certain exceptions, the local press largely reinforces a stereo- typical approach to women.
The extraction of Upper Sorbian vocabulary with German glosses in parentheses allowed researchers to collect, in a short time, rich lexical material for study and to conduct statistical analyses, which, to some extent, helped to evaluate the role of the Upper Lusatian press in the development of the lexis of this language. The vocabulary extracted from the daily newspaper Serbske Nowiny (the issues of 2011) proved to be very interesting semantically. This collection of words illustrates the development of the Upper Sorbian lexis and reflects thesocial and economic changes which have taken place in recent years. The words explained in parentheses were poorly known or new.
Easter Rising in the Polish Press (Political Commentaries)The author of the paper describes the ways in which the Polish press were informed about the Easter Rising, sources of gaining this knowledge (Reuters Agency and European daily newspapers); particularly, he makes analysis of political commentaries which were published in Warsaw, Cracow and Lvov newspapers. He shows a specific character of Polish reaction to the events in Ireland, which was rooted in the analogy of historical destiny of both nations, and gained a particularly strong resonance on the turn of April and May 1916. The author points out to the causes of this resonance of which a gradual change in the attitude of the Polish society towards Germany was the most important. The permission of German authorities-in-occupation for a great national manifestation in Warsaw on 3 May 1916 strengthened the orientation towards the central states which was evidenced by the participation of the political figuring on Germany in this event. Reports of the fall of the uprising in Ireland and the accompanying commen aries coincided with comprehensive accounts of manifestation celebrating 125th ann versary of 3rd May Constitution, which was of significant importance for the reception of the Easter Rising. Emotional stress in Warsaw, strongly stimulating patriotic feelings, created an extremely emotional attitude towards the uprising in Dublin experienced by Poles as a charter almost from their history.
In his article, the author investigates the phenomenon of anti-Polish sentiment in Deutsche Stimme, which is the most prominent monthly newspaper of the far right-wing party, Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands (German National Party, NPD). Anti-Polish sentiment is described as a mix of attitudes and behaviours that are hostile towards the Polish state, nation, citizens and culture. This definition includes all discriminatory statements, press releases and all other anti-Polish activities. The anti-Polish sentiment is present in Deutsche Stimme on three levels. The first one touches on the area of historical revisionism. The second one focuses on economic factors and immigration, and the third one is centred around long-term stereotypes that are rooted in history. The article presents different ways of expressing the anti-Polish sentiment and contains a selection of illustrations from the NPD's monthly.
Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di desa tenganan pengringsingan bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan prioritas yang dihadapi oleh para perajin lontar prasi yang ada di desa tenganan pegringsingan, baik dari aspek produksi maupun aspek manajemen usaha. Permasalahan dari aspek produksi misalnya ilustrasi yang ada masih sangat monoton, masih sama dari tahun ketahun yaitu hanya berupa kisah pewayangan Mahabarata dan Ramayana. Permasalahan dari aspek manajemen usaha, kelompok perajin ini memiliki permasalahan prioritas lainnya yaitu : perajin kurang memahami manajemen usaha dan pemasaran, perajin tidak memiliki media promosi yang tepat dalam memperkenalkan karya Prasi ke dunia internasional.Penawaran program kegiatan terhadap permasalahan tersebut adalah 1) Meningkatkan kemampuan perajin dalam menggambar wayang yang baik dan benar yaitu sesuai dengan pakem gambar wayang style Bali; 2) Perajin mampu memahami tentang manajemen usaha dan pemasaran, perajin memiliki media promosi yang tepat dalam memperkenalkan karya Lontar Prasi ke dunia internasional; 3) Perajin memilikimedia promosiberupa CD Rom Interactive, brosur, Kartu nama dan Website mengenai produk hasil karya perajin. CD rom akan digunakan untuk mendokumentasikan karya mereka dan memperkenalkan kepada wisatawan, Brosur dan kartu nama akan dapat disebarkan melalui konsumen, dan website akan online dan menyewa hosting dan domain selama 5 tahun, dengan demikian diharapkan potensi kerajinan Lontar Prasi di desa setempat dapat lebih dikenal masyarakat luas. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai terbagi menjadi 3 aspek yaitu aspek produksi, aspek manajemen usaha, aspek usaha. Target luaran pada aspek produksi adalah perajin lontar prasi memiliki kemampuan menggambar wayang yang sesuai dengan pakem wayang style Bali. Target luaran pada aspek manajemen usaha adalah perajin memahami manajemen pemasaran dengan baik. Sebagai indikatornya adalah kelompok mitra dapat membuat rancangan pemasaran secara tertulismulai dari harga bahan, ongkos kerja, harga jual dan penentuan pemasarannya. Target luaran untuk aspek usaha adalah perajin telah memiliki media promosi yang berupa CD Rom Interactive, brosur, Kartu nama dan Website mengenai produk hasil karya perajin. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan target luaran untuk mencapai tujuan adalah : 1) Mengembangkankemampuan menggambar wayang yang sesuai dengan pakem wayang style Bali. Dengan ceramah dan pelatihan menggambar wayang kepada kelompok perajin dan mendatangkan tenaga ahli dosen ISI Denpasar yang kompetensinya menggambar wayang diharapkan dapat membuat Lontar Prasi yang sesuai dengan pakem wayang style Bali mampu meningkatkan nilai estetika Lontar Prasi tersebut.2) Memberi pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar manajemen pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah. Hasilnya perajin dapat menuliskan atau merancang manajemen pemasaran produknya berdasarkan 4P yaitu Product, Price, Place dan Promotion; 3) Membuat media promosi berupa CD Rom Interactive, brosur, Kartu nama dan Website tentang produk hasil karya perajin yang dapat disebarkan melalui konsumen, pemerintah daerah dan provinsi, dan wisatawan domestik serta wisatawan mancanegara dengan harapan potensi kerajinan Lontar Prasidi desa setempat dapat dikenal secara luas oleh wisatawan domestik dan wisatawan mancanegara. Community service activities in Tenganan pegringsingan village aim to solve the problems that faced by the lontar craftsmen, both production aspects and business management aspects. Problems from aspects of production such as illustrations are still very monotonous, depicted from an episode of Mahabharata and Ramayana.Problems from the aspects of business management, i.e: crafters lack of understanding of business management and marketing and they do not have the media to promote their artworks. Thecommunity service programs offer: 1) Improving crafters ability in drawing accord of Bali wayang style standardization; 2) Improving crafters ability to understand about business management and marketing and having media to promote their artworks to the local and international visitors; 3) Having promotional media such as Interactive CDs, brochures, business cards and website. Interactive CDs will be used to record their artworks and promoted to the visitors. Brochures and business cards will be used to introduce themand their artworks to thevisitors, and the website will be online. The hosting and domain name for the website will be rented for 5 years, thus the village and crafters will be known in large. Outcome to be achieved are divided into 3 aspects: production aspect, business management aspect, business aspect. Outcome on production aspect is lontar prasi crafters have the ability in drawingaccording to Bali wayang style standardization. The crafters understand marketing management as outcome on the aspect of business management. The success indicator of this activitiesarethe crafters can create their marketing plan starting from the price of materials, cost of work, selling price and determination of target market. Outcome on the business aspect is the crafters have thepromotional media such as Interactive CDs, brochures, business cards and website about their artworks. The methods are used to be achieved the objectives are: 1) Developing the ability to draw wayang in accordance with wayang Bali style.Educating and training in drawing wayang to the craftersare comingfrom ISI Denpasar who have a competency to make Lontar Prasi drawing in accordance with wayang Bali style. They are expected toimprove the aesthetic value of Lontar Prasi. 2) Giving an understanding of the basic of marketing management. The method is used a lecture. The resultsare crafters can plan or design marketing management products based on 4P namely Product, Price, Place and Promotion; 3) Creating promotional media such as interactive CDs, brochures, business cards and websites about their artworks that can be disseminated not onlydomestic and internationalvisitorsbut also provincial governments in the hope that the potential of Lontar Prasi craft in the Tenganan pegringsingan village can be known broadly.
