; This one is a history of the Spanish philosophy of Law among several possible others. It is characterized for linking the development of legal philosophy to the political development of the country, for indicating those who were —in the opinion of the author— the engines of the philosophy of Law during the last century, and for considering and trying to unravel the cruxes of this history.

It discusses how virtualisation of networks and spaces through ICTs (information and communication technologies) has contributed to new patterns of mobilisation and social networks among participants and supporters. Following sections will give an account of the transformation of political action in the real and virtual public space of Madrid and on the evolution of Spanish urban social movements in relation to these issues, and the role of new urban activists in the governance patterns of the neoliberal city in crises.

Philosophy and Teaching
This text deals with the teaching of philosophy, trying to highlight its value in secondary education, for the development of personal autonomy and the global formation of a democratic citizenship. The starting point is the experience of teaching philosophy to future secondary education philosophy teachers, based on a conception of philosophy formulated by the Italian philosopher G. Vattimo and linked to the so-called right to philosophy formulated by the French philosopher J. Derrida. From this point of view, the form and function of the teaching of philosophy in secondary education are examined. And, in conclusion, as measures to reinforce and improve the fulfillment of its aims, the recourse to the thematic heritage of the so-called history of philosophy in teaching and the use of objective tests in the evaluation are proposed.

Childhood in Philosophy, History and Aesthetics of Latin American Cinema in the 20th Century ; La infancia en filosofía, historia y estética del cine latinoamericano en el siglo XX
The aim of this text is a theoretical approach to childhood in the main conceptions of Western philosophy, the new social history of childhood in the continent and the main aesthetic poetics of Latin American cinema during the second half of the 20th century. For this purpose, the notions of childhood are analyzed from works with a historical-hermeneutic approach, critical analysis of discourse and evaluation of the notions based on the contributions of the theoretical fields addressed. These junctions allow us to think about the places of childhood as an instrument to achieve a political dream, the conceptions of time, the liberal rights of the Enlightenment, and the phenomenological event. The purpose of this critical review is a call to weave lines of escape from history, to recreate mechanisms of audiovisual resistance that bet on an imperfect aesthetic, that blurs inheritances, that marks social processes in which childhood has an authentic voice. By focusing on the image of childhood, it is crucial that the cinema, beyond showing concrete and real factual, has a margin of fiction that it takes advantage of to give us a sentimental poetics of forgotten childhoods and reinvent the aestheticization of new childhoods in re- autonomous existences from the plurality of views of the Continent. ...

Poetry and Philosophy in the Sophists
This paper examines the relationship between poetry and philosophy in the sophists, asking what role earlier traditions of poetry and song played in their work. The sophists' influence on various genres of literature and philosophy is widely acknowledged, but, as this paper shows, the influence of earlier traditions of poetry and myth on their work was no less important. The paper demonstrates too how the sophists' engagement with the poetic tradition, like that of the Presocratics, was geared primarily to serve their philosophical or didactic goals, even if the aesthetic benefits of poetic language and style were also appreciated and exploited. Moreover, the sophists recognized poetry's important role in education, and their varied use of poetic language, style, and content in their own teaching was a continuation of this traditional aspect of poetry. In conclusion, the sophists' work on rhetorical, political, and ethical issues engaged with, and was enriched by, the shared poetic culture of their time.

Democracy. Discussions in Chilean Philosophy

We also present the authors's democracy concept: this concept defends normative dimension of politics, the multidimensionality of democracy and participation. Finally, we reflect on authors contributions to think on an alternative democratic order. ; Utopía y Praxis Latinoamericana publica bajo licencia Creative Commons Atribución-No Comercial-Compartir Igual 4.0 Internacional (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). The Vital Habit in Kant's Philosophy
In this article I focus on the concept of habit in Kant's philosophy. First of all, I concentrate on the criticisms he delineates against Gewohnheit in his epistemological and moral philosophy. In particular, habit is seen as absence of moral freedom. This conclusion is pretty different from Kant's position expressed in his Anthropology From the Pragmatic Point of View and in the last part of the Conflict of the Faculties. After a deep insight on the different terms referred to the conceptual field of habit, I focus on the relation between Gewohnheit and desire: in fact, Kant recognized that habit is not the mere repetition of an act, but more precisely it is the desire of repetition. That is why it is not strictly bonded to the deterministic world and it does not refer to machines: only the living beings may have habits. This way, it is possible to understand its role within the theme of health: in the reflections on dietetics, habit is particularly useful. The last part of the article is devoted to the new perspective on Kantian political philosophy opened by this positive view on this concept.

Russian liberal movement of the early 20th century in historical research
The article presents a review and consideration of the main aspects, directions and specifics of research publications on the history of liberal parties in Russia in the early 20th century and their parliamentary representatives (factions) in the State Duma over this period. Carrying out this research, the author used methods of structural-functional analysis, historical-comparative and problem-chronological method, as well as the principle of scientific objectivity. The author carefully examined the enormous work done by researchers on archival materials and sources related to the history of political life in Russia in the early 20th century, its institutions and representatives. At the same time, the research goes beyond consideration of the accumulated experience and views of Russian scientists (A.Ya. Avrekh, D.V. Aronov, A.N. Egorov, V.V. Shelokhayev and others) on the subject matter stated in the title of the article, but also presents the relevant opinions of international historians (L. Edmondson, W.G. Rosenberg, D. Wartenweiler, R. Williams, J. Hosking, M. Stockdale). One of the research results is the analysis of works on the history of the People's Freedom Party (Cadets) as one of the largest liberal parties in Russian politics during the studied period. The author claims that at present moment it seems viable to look at the main aspects of the history of the liberal movement (parties) in Russia in the early 20th century and their parliamentary representatives both for general understanding of the work done by domestic and international historians in this area, and for understanding the specifics of its transformational change regarding the temporary development factor.

Dictatorship of law 20th century ; Dictadura de ley siglo XX
The article deals with the formation of the dictatorship of General Maximiliano Hernández Martínez between 1931 and 1935 and its constitutional consecration in 1939, to which the title refers. For this, he describes the impact that the Great Depression had on the Salvadoran economy, as well as the repercussions of the generalized crisis that the country experienced and that manifested itself in the reorganization of the State, the mobilization of rebel groups and, more importantly, the shift towards the dictatorship as a political regime. It is, suggested that the opposition between democracy and authoritarianism has summarized the political problems of the constitutional evolution of the 20th century in El Salvador. From a historical perspective, it argues that the tension between these two poles created, on the one hand, constitutional formality and, on the other, the reality of disrespect for the rights of citizenship. Throughout the century, the relationship between the struggles for democracy, the validity of authoritarianism and constitutional production was decisive in three periods: 1939–1944, 1950 1962 y 1983–1992. The first period was of the splendor of the dictatorship; the second corresponded to the authoritarian validity. In the latter, in the middle of the war, when the foundation of democracy, was configured. This approach is part of the broader research project on the "Salvadoran constitutional evolution in the 20th century", within the framework of the research agenda of the Evangelical University of El Salvador, with a view to the celebration of the Bicentennial of Independence, 1821-2021.
