本文旨在衡量风险投资对中国上市企业估值的影响。以IPO初始回报率及其波动性为指标,通过时间序列分析方法,控制企业及市场变量,对此影响做了详细地衡量和分析。主要的结论有,中国的风险投资公司较为年轻,更注重声誉的建立以为其自身后续投资活动吸引资金,其对初始回报率的正影响大于风险投资对减少估值中的不信息对称的作用而体现在对初始回报率的负影响。进一步的分析显示,无风险投资支持的企业初始回报率总体上对市场宏观变量更为敏感,而自身企业变量对初始回报率,估值难度不产生影响。对于有风险投资支持的企业,其企业变量对初始回报率,估值难度产生影响,而其估值复杂性受宏观市场变量的影响较小。表明中国的风险投资公司也起到了估值导向的作用,减轻了估值中的信息不对称情况。最后,本文为投资者,政府部门提供了一些建议。 ; This thesis attempts to measure the influence of venture capital (VC) on the complexity of valuation in China. Taking the initial return and its volatility as indices, firm- and market- specific factors were controlled for and a detailed time series analysis was conducted to concretely test such influence. The main findings suggest that VC firms in China are young and greatly value reputation. The effect of effective authentication agents that reduce information asymmetry is countered by firm's desire to build up reputation. Further study shows that market-specific characteristics of non-VC backed firms are more closely correlated to their initial returns than that of VC-backed firms; that corporate fundamentals play a more important role in valuation for VC-backed firms than their counterparts. This indicates that, besides the eagerness to build reputation, VC firms in China still act as authentication agents and reduce the complexity of valuation. Suggestions are raised for investors and governments. Investors in the Chinese primary stock market should buy into IPOs without VC-backing to achieve a high initial return, whereas capitalists, who seek to fund startups, should choose startups with VC-backing as they are better-positioned for a potential IPO. It is commonly claimed that microfinance institutions (MFIs) can provide financial opportunities to those who are unable to obtain loans from the formal system, while at the same time maintain their institutional sustainability. This promise has attracted the interest of developing countries with large population in poverty, leading to a remarkable emergence of microfinance industry on the global stage. ; Because of the special social and political environment, the development of MFIs in China has its unique trajectory. Based on interviews and participant observation, this three-month research focuses on two non-governmental MFIs in Western China and Northern China, revealing a plight of infeasible dual objectives and proposing an explanation from the angle of transformed trust structure. In a collapsing acquaintance community, the social objectives are suppressed by the demands of self-sustainability, thus violating the original intention of poverty alleviation and women empowerment, and leading to a phenomenon of goal displacement. ; To further discuss the logic behind the goal displacement phenomenon in microfinance industry, two propositions are suggested from the angles of legitimacy and measurability of organizational goals. 本研究針對中國城市教會信徒年輕化的現象,以北京一三自教會為個案分析,了解「八零後」的中國基督徒如何理解和實踐基督信仰,並探討這個群體的崛起如何改造城市基督教的面貌。八零後的中國基督徒在信徒身份建構上所強調的是理性學習及積極入世的。他們在對信仰的理解和實踐的過程中塑造了一種中產價值。這種中產價值不單體現在「高學歷」、「城市」、「創新」等文化資本上,更重視回歸到傳統的家庭價值和對社會的正面價值。本文也反映了基督教與國家權力之間的互動,指出兩者相互依存和調適,但教會仍受制於政府主導的宗教政策。教會在限制中調動信徒的力量發掘空間,實踐他們的信仰理念。 ; Christianity in China has been traditionally attracted socially disadvantaged groups; however, this has recently changed with the rising number of young and educated worshipers in China's urban churches, especially in metropolitan cities. This study examines a group of Post-80s Chinese Christians at a Three-Self church in Beijing by looking at (1) How these young followers understand and practice religion in their everyday lives? (2) And how their everyday practice and understanding of religion shape and change the image of urban Christianity? The Post-80s Chinese Christians place the importance of rational study and social engagement in constructing religious identity. The ways they interpret their faith reflect the middle class values by emphasizing family values and favoring economic and political stability. The study also shows that the state-church relation is mutually dependent and adaptive but the religious matters are still largely controlled by the political authority. 本文希望探討弱勢小學如何在教育市場化趨勢下,因為收生不足而被教統局宣佈殺校,然而經過學校持分者的奮鬥,一年後竟能取錄足夠學生,成功逆轉重生。研究對象學校近年取錄的學生人數一直上升,甚至成為社區上受歡迎的學校。弱勢學校在汰弱留強的市場定律下竟能逆轉重生,這個香港教育界的特殊現象,箇中原因及意義便是本文著意的地方。 ; 本文採用質性研究方法,邀請兩所位於不同貧窮社區的小學接受研究。兩所小學同樣經歷逆轉重生,其中一所小學甚至兩次殺校。在具體田野操作方面,本文採用民族誌研究方法,筆者透過長時間參與觀察、深度訪談、比較閱讀,整理兩所學校由殺校至今的逆轉發展脈絡。 ; 研究結果發現,兩所能夠成功逆轉重生的學校從:宏觀層面、中介層面和微觀層面,均能啟動和累積社會資本,並轉化為不同類型的資本,包括:文化資本,經濟資本等,以支援學校的非常態運作,避過殺校宿命。此外,研究發現兩所學校的教師團隊同樣呈現一條由社會資本轉化為教學專業資本的脈絡,並在校本課程的編訂和教學法的探索得到成效,讓學生學習蒙受其利,這是學校逆轉的背後策劃能量。 ; 本文期望教育領導人士能重新理解類教育市場脈絡的多端力量,並希望教育領導者了解學校在類教育市場的定位。另外,本文希望讓所有學校持分者重新理解社會資本在教育場域的正面能量。當中尤以校長為核心,啟動和轉化學校社會資本,他的信念和力量將是領導學校逆轉重生,以至持續發展的關鍵。 ; 最後,本文無意為弱勢學校逆轉重生的現象下定論,限於資料收集的局限、類教育市場脈絡、社會資本概念的複雜性,本文主要通過現有的材料和論據,為香港弱勢社群教育這個領域作為開拓研究的鋪墊。 ; This thesis attempts to answer the question about how a disadvantaged primary school experienced turnaround in a Quasi-education market. ; This is an ethnographic study, employing qualitative methods. Two primary schools from two low-income districts were invited to participate. They both suffered from "school closure"(殺校). One of them even went through it twice. Ethnographic research was conducted with Participant Observation, In-depth Interview and Comparative Reading throughout the research duration. ; The results of the research showed that two turnaround schools mobilized and accumulated social capital and transformed it into other forms of capital, such as cultural capital and economic capital, in order to support the schools' contingency plans on macro, meso and micro levels. ; Another finding is that the teaching teams of the two turnaround schools also showed a path of transforming social capital into teaching professional capital, including school-based curriculum designs and research into teaching methods. It is generally acknowledged that Europe will not be a super power in the sense of a political-military ensemble on an equal footing with the United States or China. Europeans reject this possibility across the board. Moreover, even if they wanted to go that route, wouldn't it expose them to reproducing on a European scale what they have struggled to combat amongst themselves: the idea of becoming a great power with all the attributes of force and supremacy that such a project implies?So if Europe will not be a super power, how can it be a power at all? Probably by reinforcing what remains its major political resource: its capacity to produce and set up at the global level a system of norms as broad-sweeping as possible that can organize the world, discipline the interplay of its actors, introduce predictability in their behavior, develop among them a sense of collective responsibility, and offer those who engage on this path, particularly the weakest, at least the partial possibility to use these norms as an argument/force* against all, including the world's most powerful.The task may seem colossal, even outrageous. 在中國現代文學中,文藝與政治之間有著密切而複雜的關係,此一問題在現代戲劇中尤其值得重視。過往戲劇研究長期位處邊緣,這與戲劇此一文類所獨具的綜合藝術特質不無關係,其橫跨文學、美術、音樂、表演等領域的跨藝術特徵,導致其複雜性實際上遠超純文學的範疇。另一方面,戲劇運動的集團性和政治性,亦導致論者對於中國現代戲劇發展較為簡單化的論述,戲劇史的書寫往往與時代話語緊密連繫。不論是純粹文藝化還是政治化的角度,皆很可能遮蔽了戲劇本身一體兩面的問題,導致研究單一化和簡單化。洪深 (1894-1955)、田漢 (1898-1968)和夏衍 (1900-1995)均是中國現代重要戲劇家,同時亦長期被定位為左翼文藝陣營中的重要成員。戲劇家和政治家的身分重疊,導致他們的研究情況往往與時代的意識形態掛鈎,而目前有關他們的研究更是受到冷落,與他們的文學成就並不相稱。本文以三位劇作家為研究對象,希望通過他們的不同面向,重新審視文藝與政治之間各種複雜關係的可能性。 ; 本文分為五章。第一章為導論,主要介紹本文的寫作理念、方法和背景。第二章以洪深為研究對象,重新探討他的現實主義戲劇創作和主張。洪深對改譯劇的主張和實踐,體現了他與晚清鴛鴦蝴蝶派文學和西方戲劇的深刻淵源,而他和蕭伯納之間的文學關係,反映了他對早期文明戲的戲劇改革和西方舞台的繼承,突顯了洪深如何在中西文化之間思索中國現代戲劇中的現實主義問題。第三章從西方唯美主義和先鋒文學運動的角度,重新探討田漢的創作和政治轉向。本章考察田漢對外國文學的譯介活動,當中包括英國唯美主義作家威廉.莫里斯、德國表現主義影劇、俄國和日本左翼劇場,反映了田漢戲劇運動的左翼國際主義特徵;然而田漢對日本作家佐藤春夫和谷崎潤一郎的翻譯,則體現了他對唯美主義的回歸。第四章以夏衍的戲劇創作為研究對象,重新探討夏衍的戲劇文學的獨特性。本章把夏衍此時期的劇作分為歷史劇和上海都市劇兩個角度作出分析,並將它們放在當時文學場域中與郭沫若的歷史劇、國防文學、現代派小說和左翼電影作一比較,並分析夏衍的現實主義與左翼現實主義的相異。第五章為結論,綜合前文各章的討論,重新思考三位劇作家的戲劇實踐,並重審中國現代戲劇中文藝與政治之間的複雜關係。 ; There is a complicated relationship between literature and politics in modern Chinese literature, especially in modern Chinese drama. As a result, the research of modern Chinese drama has long been placed at a marginal position. Drama is an integrated artistic form consisting of literature, art, music, and performance, and therefore presents a complexity that goes far beyond "pure literature". On the other hand, the history of modern Chinese drama is closely integrated with historical discourse as a result of the organizational and political characteristics of drama movements. This shows that either literary or political point of view may confine the interpretation of their inter-related complexity and interaction. Hong Shen (1894-1955), Tian Han (1898-1968) and Xia Yan (1900-1995) are three of the most important dramatists in modern Chinese literature, who were also regarded as representative members in the left-wing literary camp. 中國歷史上屢有異邦人士親身踏訪禹域,其中不乏有心之人將見聞感受付諸紙筆,撰文紀行。考慮到此類材料的政治意涵與文類屬性,本文採用「中國行紀」的概念指稱明治時代日本人結合親身踏訪禹域體驗撰寫的紀行文字。本文討論之日本明治(1868-1912)在時段上與中國晚清大致相當。不到五十年裏,兩國都經歷了翻天覆地但又截然相反的變動。也就是說,在日本不斷進步、日趨興盛的同時,中國卻世風日下,走向衰頹。一百多年前日本漢學者的中國行紀從異域鄰人的角度爲今人理解與進入晚清提供了嶄新的研究視角。 ; 有關明治漢文中國行紀的先行研究側重於中日政治關係的歷史描繪,對兩國知識人士之間文化交流與知識轉型方面的價值則有待繼續討論。本文將集中討論被視為明治三大漢文中國行紀的竹添進一郎《棧雲峽雨日記》、岡千仞《觀光紀游》與山本憲《燕山楚水紀遊》。它們分別代表了明治前期、中期與後期日本人對中國的旅行書寫,顯示出日本漢文中國行紀逐漸走向盡頭的趨勢。上述三書不僅影響到許多同代及其後大正、昭和時期的中國行紀,而且行紀文體的親歷性與權威性也使其對於近代日本人中國認識的轉變與形塑起到潛移默化的作用。三位作者都是受到過傳統舊式教育的漢學者,通過寫作傳達出親歷中國後想像與現實的落差,又以文學家的筆調記錄了晚清社會政治與士民生活的方方面面,在近代中日文化交流與知識轉型上扮演了重要角色。筆者將以漢文筆談為切入點,討論近代中日知識人士圍繞文化交流、知識轉型、文士往來與書籍酬贈等重要議題展開的交際與互動。本文期望通過勾稽相關文獻史料,回歸晚清歷史語境,藉助異域之眼反躬自省。 ; In Chinese history, there were always overseas people travelling to China, including Japanese sinologists, many of whom had recorded their impressions of China by composing travelogues. Considering the political implication and the genre application of this kind of materials, this research adopts the term "travelogues about China" to generalize all these records. The time period to be discussed in this research project is the whole Meiji era, namely, from 1868 to 1912, less than half a century, corresponding roughly to the late Qing period. These two countries had undergone tremendous but reversed revolutions during this period. That is to say, when Japan made progress everyday, China, on the other hand, was in an apparent state of decline. Travelogues about China 150 years ago provide people nowadays with a new research angle to comprehend and enter the late Qing history from Japanese sinologists' perspectives. ; Previous research about on Japanese travelogues about China in Chinese during the Meiji Period focused on historical descriptions of Sino-Japanese political relationships, however, the value of cultural exchange and transformation of knowledge between literary elites from both of these two countries remain to be discussed.
