The society created by this novel is governed by a zombiepolitics. The zombiepolitics is a metaphor to indicate a government device to manage all human categories considered by the society as an excess, as a stranger to be expelled in order to preserve peace. The aim is to show how the dystopian genre is useful for reflecting on ideological discourses, throw the construction of possible worlds that visualize the worlds of ideological perception of reality.

Under the direction of the Italian president, the Council also sponsored several programs on racism & human rights around the world.
The 26th Report on migrations by ISMU Foundation situates migration phenomena in Italy within the broader framework of the sudden outbreak and spread of COVID-19. The report analyzes the enduring impact of the pandemic on migration flows as well as on foreign residents in Italy. Statistical aspects and analyses of health, labour, and education are complemented with an in-depth study of the Italian legal framework, with particular regard to the most important legislative innovation on migration introduced in 2020: the regularization of migrant workers. The report is further complemented with detailed analyses of the link between immigration, politics, and the media, of racism, and of discrimination during the pandemic. Finally, the report devotes particular attention to the European arena, focusing on the new perspectives for European migration policy.

Il nazional-fascismo economico del giovane Franco Modigliani. This volume is the first to reconstruct the intellectual profile of the young Franco Modigliani, who adheres to the economic and political theories of fascism by proposing avant-garde reflections on central issues of the theoretical debate: Keynesian thought, causes and remedies for the Great Crisis of 1929 , theoretical and historical reasons behind economic nationalism and fascist autarchy. After adhering to the theories of spiritual racism, Modigliani was surprised by the promulgation of the anti-Jewish laws of 1938. After arriving in the USA, Modigliani put aside the fascist and nationalist ideology, but he cultivated the study of Keynesian structures and thoughts, of which he then offered an interpretation which is still successful worldwide to the present day.
In this article the author explores the cultural movement called Afrofuturism, tracing its origins, features, simbology, and its historical and political meanings. Starting from the (supposed) discoursive gap between African and African American people on one side and technology and science fiction on the other, this paradigm addresses themes related to the intersection of African Diaspora and African cultures with technology and science fiction, with the aim to recover the history of slavery and racism through the projections into alternative space-time contexts. In particular, the author explores the feminist afrofuturism perspective in order to examine the specific oppression and cultural production of African and African American women. In doing so, the author analyzes the development of afrofuturism in Italy, focusing on the work of the singer and beatmaker Karima 2G.

The theoretical contribution illustrated in this article is aimed at highlighting the vast potentialities emerging from the intersection of citizenship studies, ethics of care studies and the sociology of emotions; in other words, emerging from the intersection of the concept of citizenship with the concept of care and the emotional dynamics revolving around them. The analysis is developed within the context of our rapidly changing global societies and in light of some of the most recent developments concerning the so-called European refugee crisis. The overall objective is getting insights in the multiple ways in which new forms of citizenship and social inclusion are creatively performed at the local level, i.e. at the level of micro-interactions, even when forms of exclusion, borders-defence attitudes and racism persist at the institutional and political level.

The purpose of this research is to offer a contribution to the study of the growth of anti-establishment political groups in the UK, specifically, the United Kingdom Independence Party, a typically perceived right-wing political movement whose main belief is the separation of the UK from the European Union. First part of the research will mostly draw upon literature review on Political and Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), a multifaceted approach to the study of text and talk: discourses influence social relations and knowledge systems through language, and the theoretical structure of CDA demonstrates the complex workings of power and ideology in discourse in sustaining particular orders. What is intended to prove, where verifiable, is a re-shape of the negative biased definition of the term 'populism' which has been attributed for years by mainstream politics. The study will give an overview on the interchangeable Other-construction depending on one of the great three issues at stake: anti-European Union, anti-Immigration (Economic Migrants) and anti- establishment political talk. Substantial through the data analysis is the shift from a biological to a cultural concept of racism now conceived as ethnopluralism, that is the straightforward realization of an impossible coexistence among different culture within one nation.
