Objectives: The purpose of this study is to figure out the current state of patient safety research in Korea and to evaluate whether the research fund support project for patient safety research is proceeding in priority order. Methods: Through the literature search, a list of research projects in the field of patient safety in Korea were collected as of January 6, 2017. Four researchers independently evaluated the subject using the priority list of patient safety research derived from the previous study. Results: As of January 2017, a total of 21 research projects were conducted in the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and 42 research studies were conducted in the National Science & Technology Information. The results of the priority evaluation showed that there were no researches that ranked first and second priority. Many of the research topics were �쁀dverse drug events/drug errors,�� �쁇ealth information technology/information systems,�� and �쁋ess relevance.�� Conclusion: Patient safety research projects are not only diverse but also quantitative in Korea. Support for research topics that need to be prioritized is needed, such as developing safety indicators and measuring patient safelty levels, improving communication, and improving patient safety incident reporting systems. ; open

학위논문 (석사)-- 서울대학교 대학원 : 행정학과(행정학전공), 2012. 2. 정광호. ; 국문 초록 본 연구에서는 고구려연구재단과 동북아역사재단의 설립과정을 역사적 사회 환경적 관점, Allison의 정부정치 모형적 관점, 그리고 Kingdon의 정책흐름 모형적 관점에서 비교 분석하여 두 기관의 설립, 두 기관의 제도적 성취 및 역할 범위의 차이를 가져온 요인이 무엇인가를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 일반적으로 조직설립을 다루는 이론으로서 역사적 사회 환경적 관점에서는 조직 환경론, 특히 구조적 상황이론과 조직생태이론이 유용한 분석도구로 활용되어져 왔다. 이러한 이론들은 조직설립이 그것을 둘러싼 맥락 또는 상황에 의존한다는 결정주의적 입장을 취하고 있기 때문에 특정 상황적 요인의 존재 또는 발생으로 조직이 설립되었다는 것을 설명하는 데는 유용한 관점인 것으로 인식되어져 왔다. 하지만, 본 연구에서는 조직 환경론적 관점만으로는 왜 특정 공공조직은 특정 상황 또는 맥락의 존재에도 불구하고 설립 또는 사멸되지 않으며, 왜 유사한 공공조직간 제도적 성취의 차이가 발생하는 가를 설명하는 데는 한계가 있다고 보고 조직설립과 관련된 조직 환경론적 관점의 한계를 적시함과 동시에 준 정부조직 설립과정의 특수성을 감안하여 정부정치모형과 정책흐름 모형을 추가로 적용함으로써 고구려연구재단 및 동북아역사재단 설립과정에 대한 비교분석을 시도하였다. 먼저, 역사적 사회 환경적 관점에서는 구조적 상황이론과 조직 생태이론을 적용하여 두 기관의 설립을 가져온 역사적 배경이 무엇이며, 동북아역사재단 설립과 더불어 이에 흡수 통합된 고구려연구재단의 사멸 요인이 무엇인지를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 동 연구 결과에 의하면, 고구려연구재단의 사멸은 낮은 신뢰성 및 예측가능성, 신생조직의 불리, 작은 조직 규모 및 예산, 핵심적 조직 변화의 시도 및 동북아역사재단의 설립에 기인한 것으로 나타났다. 두 번째로, Allison의 정부정치 모형을 통하여 두 기관 설립을 둘러싸고 벌어진 참여자들의 흥정과 타협을 분석하여 이들의 입장·선호·인식·기대이익 등의 차이가 두 기관의 설립 및 제도적 성취에 어떠한 영향을 주었는가를 설명하였다. 그 결과 두 기관의 설립 및 제도적 성취의 차이 발생은 핵심참여자로서의 대통령과 행정기관의 인식 및 선호의 차이에 의해 크게 영향을 받은 것으로 나타났다. 다시 말해, 고구려연구재단 설립과 관련된 대통령 및 행정기관의 인식 및 입장은 한·중 양국의 외교관계 등을 의식해서 상당히 유화적이었던 반면, 일본의 역사교과서 왜곡 및 독도 영유권 도발로 시작된 동북아역사재단 설립과 관련하여서는 대통령과 행정기관의 인식이 매우 단호하였던 것으로 밝혀졌다. 세 번째로, Kingdon의 정책 흐름 모형을 적용하여, 두 기관 설립을 둘러싼 문제 및 정책의 흐름의 차이가 어떠하였는지를 비교 분석하였다. 먼저, 문제 흐름의 측면에서 고구려 역사 왜곡 문제에 대한 정책 당국자 또는 학계의 인식은 약했으며, 정책의 흐름도 시민단체 주도로 이루어져 일관성 및 강도가 약했다는 것을 확인하였다. 반면, 일본의 역사 교과서 왜곡 및 독도 영유권 도발로 촉발된 동북아역사재단 설립을 둘러싼 문제의 흐름은 강하고 일관성이 있었으며, 정책 흐름 역시 대통령과 행정기관의 주도하에 하향식으로 이루어져 일관되고 강하게 진행되었다. 이러한 두 가지 흐름상의 차이가 두 조직간 제도적 성취의 차이를 가져온 또 다른 설명 요인이었다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과, 발견된 시사점은 다음과 같다. 먼저, 역사적 사회 환경적 관점만으로는 공공조직 설립과정을 명확히 이해하는 데는 한계가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 다시 말해, 역사적 사회 환경적 관점은 조직의 구조나 기능을 결정하는 요인으로 특정 환경 혹은 맥락을 강조해왔지만, 동 관점만으로는 왜 특정 환경의 존재에도 불구하고 왜 특정시점에는 조직 설립 또는 사멸이 이루어지지 않다가 다른 시점에 와서야 이루어지는가에 대해서는 명쾌한 해답을 제공하지 못하는 한계가 있다는 것이다. 두 번째, 준 정부조직은 민간조직과는 달리 법적·행정적·제도적 제약 조건하에서 설립되는 경우가 많기 때문에 준 정부 조직의 설립과정을 보다 명확히 이해하기 위해서는 보다 다양한 관점 즉, 정부 정치적 관점 및 정책 흐름적 관점 등을 통한 기존 이론의 보완 또는 대체가 필요하다는 것이다. 특히 우리사회가 다원화된 사회로 진행되어감에 따라 공공조직 설립과정을 이해하기 위해서는 참여자의 정치적 흥정과 타협을 다루는 정부정치적 관점에 대한 고려가 필요할 것으로 본다. 주요어: 역사적 사회 환경적 관점, 구조적 상황이론, 조직 생태이론, Allison의 정부정치 모형, Kingdon의 정책흐름 모형, 준 정부조직 ; ABSTRACT A Comparative Analysis of the Establishment Processes of Two Quasi-Governmental Organizations: The Cases of the Koguryo Research Foundation and the Northeast Asian History Foundation Si Yung Jung Department of Public Administration Graduate School of Public Administration Seoul National University The purpose of this study is to analyze through a comparative approach the establishment processes of the Koguryo Research Foundation and the Northeast Asian History Foundation from the perspectives of historical-social environment, Graham Allison's Governmental Politics Model, and John W. Kingdon's Policy Streams Model in order to clarify the establishment processes of these two organizations and to identify which factors determined their institutional achievements. Generally, both contingency theory and organizational ecology theory have been widely used as tools for analysis of organizational establishment. These theories have strengths for explaining the contingencies and contexts which determine the establishment of organizations. However, these theories have weaknesses in explaining the reasons why an organization fails to be established in the presence of a certain contingency or why there are differences of institutional achievements between certain similar organizations. To further the understanding of organizational establishment and the incidence of differences of institutional achievement between the two organizations, this study adopted the Governmental Politics Model and the Policy Streams Model. In the perspective of the historical-social environment, both contingency theory and organizational ecology theory were adopted as tools for analysis. Contingency theory assumes that the structure or management style of an organization depends on the environment which surrounds the organization. In the perspective of contingency theory, the creation of the Koguryo Research Foundation was initiated by the Chinese distortion of Koguryo history, while the Northeast Asian History Foundation was created by the Japanese distortion of history and sovereignty provocation over Dokdo. The perspective of organizational ecology theory was adopted to explain the reasons why the Koguryo Research Foundation was closed and then merged into the Northeast Asian History Foundation after two and one-half years of activity. Through this perspective, this study found that the closure of the Koguryo Research Foundation resulted from such factors as lower reliability and accountability, the liability of newness, the small size of its organization and budget, the attempt of essential organizational change, and the creation of a new organization, the Northeast Asian History Foundation. In the perspective of the Governmental Politics Model, this study examined how the political resultants, the Koguryo Research Foundation and the Northeast Asian History Foundation, were drawn through bargaining and negotiation by the players involved in the game. This study revealed that the differences in the institutional achievements between the two quasi-governmental organizations resulted from the differences of the players' perceptions, preferences, and stands on the issue. In terms of perception, the perception of key players such as the president of the Republic of Korea and his administration on the issue of the Chinese distortion of Koguryo history was pacificatory, while the perception of the president and the administration on the issue of the Japanese distortion of history and the issue of Dokdo was quite determined. Through this lens, this study also found that the players perceived the issue not only on the basis of national interests, but also on the basis of their organizational interests and personal concerns. Finally, through the viewpoint of the Policy Streams Model, this study examined how the streams of problems and policy alternatives proceeded along the processes of the founding of the two quasi-governmental organizations. According to the analysis, the streams of problems surrounding the founding of the Koguryo Research Foundation were weaker than the streams of problems concerning the Northeast Asian History Foundation. In the perspective of policy streams, those concerning the founding of the Northeast Asian History Foundation were consistent and strong due to the determined stand of the president on the issue, while the policy streams regarding the Koguryo Research Foundation were incremental, inconsistent, and mutated due to the lack of presidential support and the passive attitude of the administration toward the issue. The first implication of the study is that a variety of aspects of organizational establishment should be reviewed to understand the process of organizational founding more clearly. Though organizational environment theories have assumed that environment or context determines the structure or function of the organization, the theories can not clearly explain why the birth or closure of an organization occurred in a specific time in spite of the presence of previous contingencies. The second implication is that policy makers or researchers should consider such factors as politics, administration, and the legality of the issues regarding the establishment of a quasi-governmental organization, because quasi-governmental organizations are governed by legal, administrative, and other institutional constraints unlike private organizations. The third implication is that, as Korea society is growing more pluralistic, the relevance of the Governmental Politics Model is likely to become higher in explaining the establishment processes of quasi-governmental institutions in the Republic of Korea. Background Originating from poultry, particularly chickens, Campylobacter jejuni is the leading foodborne pathogen worldwide and a major cause of campylobacteriosis. Isolating C. jejuni is difficult due to its specific growth requirements, the presence of viable but non-culturable bacteria, and because it is often masked by competing flora. Currently, there is no optimized method for isolating C. jejuni from chicken feces. Here, we evaluated the method for isolating C. jejuni from chicken feces using culture-independent sequence-based metagenomics and culture-dependent tools. Further, we assessed changes in microbial communities during microbe isolation to determine how the process can be improved. Results Fourteen different variations of C. jejuni isolation procedures were applied to all 35 chicken fecal samples. These variations included using different enrichment broths (without enrichment or enrichment in Bolton or Preston broth), different ratios of sample-to-enrichment broth (1:101, 1:102, and 1:103), and different selective agars (modified charcoal-cefoperazone-deoxycholate agar (mCCDA) or Preston agar). Enrichment during isolation of C. jejuni was evaluated on the basis of microbial diversity and taxonomic composition using metagenomics tools. The effect of selective media was evaluated using a combination of metagenomics and culture-dependent tools. Microbial diversity significantly decreased during the enrichment process, regardless of the type of enrichment broth, with the most significant decrease observed at a feces-to-broth ratio of 1:103. Particularly, in 103-Preston broth, the relative abundance of Campylobacter increased, while extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli, which interfere with Campylobacter isolation, decreased. Metagenomics results were validated by quantitative PCR and culture-dependent analysis. Additionally, selective media affected the isolation results, although microbes with high relative abundance during enrichment were also frequently isolated using culture-dependent methods. Significantly more C. jejuni was isolated from mCCDA than from Preston agar enriched in 103 Preston broth. Conclusions Enrichment in Preston broth at a ratio of 1:103 followed by spreading onto mCCDA was the most effective method for isolating C. jejuni. This is the first study to apply metagenomics to evaluate a method for isolating a targeted microbe, C. jejuni, from chicken feces, a source with high microbial contamination. Purpose: This research was, by investigating the relations between the cultural types of a nursing organization in military hospital and performance, to ascertain the cultural types to be able to improve performance. Method: The date were gathered from 255 nurse officers who were in 19 military hospitals by using the self-report type of questionnaire. The period of data collection was from April 20, 2003 to July 15, 2003. For this research, the following tools were used: the tools for measuring the organizational characteristics, organizational culture, and job satisfaction, the tool for measuring organizational commitment. For data analysis the SPSS Win 12.0 program was used. Result: 1) Most of the cultural types of a nursing organization in military hospital is Relation-oriented. 2) In the relation between general the characteristics of subject and the organizational cultural type, there was a difference in the innovation-oriented, relation-oriented, hierarchy-oriented, and task-oriented culture according to nurse officers careers, hospital types, year in hospital, marital status, and unit(p<0.05). 3) In the relation between general characteristics of subject and organizational performance, there was a difference in the job satisfaction, affective commitment, transactional commitment, and normative commitment according to nurse officers careers, education, madrigal status and unit(p<0.05). 4) In the relationship between the of a military hospital were correlated with the type of each culture(p=0.00), 5) In the relation between the organizational culture type of military hospital and its performance, there was a positive correlation among job satisfaction and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture(p<0.05). And hierarchy-oriented culture showed that they had a weak negative correlation with job satisfaction(p<0.05). There was a positive correlation among affective commitment and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture(p<0.05). And hierarchy-oriented culture showed that they had a weak negative correlation with affective commitment(p<0.05). There was no culture type significantly related to continuance commitment and there was a weak positive correlation among normative commitment and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture. The types to have an influence upon nurse officers' job satisfaction were relation-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture(p=0.00). And relation-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture were major variances for affective commitment and only relation-oriented culture was influential variance for normative commitment(p=0.00). Conclusion: The organizational culture type was found which had an influence upon nurse officers' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. These result are very significant in having showed the persons in charge of nursing administration a basic data for creation of an effective organizational culture. ; open

Game-theoretic approach has been providing a powerful tool in qualitative understanding of macroscopic social phenomena in social sciences, e.g., in economics and political science. Recently, researchers in physics, especially in statistical physics, use these game-theoretic approaches but in more quantitative way and have been producing a variety of interesting results in the new research area called 'sociophysics' by studying human society as a complex system. This work introduces recent works that have tackled combinatorial complexities arising in game-theoretic studies with the aid of simplified assumptions and numerical computations. We first show how cooperation emerges in the prisoner's dilemma game when each player's memory capacity is enhanced and suggest that the intelligent tit-for-tat strategy plays a crucial role in the history of cooperation. And then it is numerically shown that there is a certain case of simultaneous coordination among many players where the system has a high risk of failure when everyone is willing to follow the coordination, which is actually higher than when some are not concerned about it. Lastly, we discuss mathematical treatment of an equilibrium solution for a reverse auction game, which is a variant of the minority game, and its computational approach. ; Artikel på koreanska, abstract på engelska.

학위논문 (석사) -- 서울대학교 대학원 : 사회과학대학 지리학과, 2020. 8. 신혜란. ; 본 연구는 정책이동(policy mobility)의 관점에서 서울로 7017의 조성 과정을 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구는 정책이 이동하는 과정에 있어서 도시 정치가 어떠한 방식으로 개입하게 되는지를 집중적으로 살펴보았다. 정책이동은 도시 연구 분야에서 주요 연구 주제로 떠오르고 있다. 전 세계 도시 간 협력과 교류가 활발해짐에 따라 정책의 이동 - 선진 정책의 벤치마킹 및 수입과 모방, 정책 관련 국제 컨퍼런스 발표 및 수상 등 - 은 활발하게 진행되고 있고, 이러한 현상은 도시정책의 추진 및 의사결정에 있어서도 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 한편 기존 정책이동 관련 연구들은 정책이 이동되는 과정자체에 초점을 맞추어 도시들 간의 지역적 맥락이나 정치구조의 차이가 정책의 적용과 변용 등에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 주로 살펴보았다. 이에 반해 정책 이동 현상이 넓은 범위의 도시정치와 거버넌스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 활발하게 연구되지는 못하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 부분에 있어서 기여하고자 서울로 7017이 조성되는 과정에서 나타났던 벤치마킹이나 정책 홍보 등의 정책이동 과정이 서울시 도시정책에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 분석하였다.연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서울로 7017 조성과정에서 나타난 정책의 이동 – 뉴욕 하이라인의 벤치마킹 또한 서울로 7017 정책의 홍보와 선전 - 은 서울시가 도시정책을 정당화하는 주요한 방법으로서 활용되었다. 서울로 7017은 별다른 공론화 과정 없이 박원순 시장의 정치적 추진력을 통해 급하게 추진되었기 때문에 서울시는 사업에 대한 정당성을 보여주는 것이 필요했다. 이에 서울시는 이미 진행되었던 뉴욕 하이라인의 성공을 통해서 사업의 필요성과 당위성을 보여주었다. 또한 서울시는 사업의 가치와 성공을 국내와 해외로 홍보하는 과정을 통해서, 서울로 7017 대한 성공적인 이미지를 스스로 다듬어갔다. 이처럼 서울로 7017이 조성되는 과정에서 나타났던 벤치마킹과 정책 홍보는 서울시가 도시 정책을 정당화하기 위한 목적에서 진행되었다. 둘째, 서울로 7017의 조성에 있어서 서울시는 하이라인을 벤치마킹 하였지만, 이는 서울시의 정책적 목표와 필요에 따라 선별적으로 이루어졌다. 또한 이처럼 정책적 필요에 맞추어 벤치마킹과 모방이 진행되는 과정에서, 처음 모방하고자 하였던 하이라인의 운영방식과 내용은 큰 폭으로 변용되었다. 일례로 하이라인의 디자인은 유사한 형태로 모방되었지만, 시민참여를 대표하였던 하이라인의 운영방식은 보수적인 서울시의 행정 구조에 맞추는 과정에서 큰 폭으로 변용되었다. 또한 이와 같은 모방과 변용의 과정에서 서울시의 정책, 행정구조, 공간은 빠르게 변화되었다. 본 연구는 전세계적으로 활발하게 진행되고 있는 정책이동 현상이 도시를 어떻게 변화시키고 있는지를 서울로 7017의 실증사레를 통해서 확인하였다. 한편 본 연구는 정책이동을 통해서 이루어지고 있는 다양한 변화들을, 다소 개괄적인 범위에서 살펴보았다는 점에서 한계를 갖기도 한다. 발전된 후속 연구를 통해서 정책이동이 도시의 변화에 갖는 의미를 더욱 면밀하게 검토하고 구체적인 정책적 시사점이 제시할 수 있기를 기대한다. ; This study analyzes the development process of Seoullo 7017 through the theoretical lens of policy mobility. In the past few decades, transfers, diffusion, and movement of urban policies across national borders have increased rapidly. Accordingly, researches on policy mobility have developed in the fields of geography and urban studies. These studies have critically investigated the processes of adaptation, assemblage, and mutation of a certain policy, but have little focused on how the ordinary urban policymaking and the urban area has changed in the process of policy movement. In this regard, this study explores how the mobilization of certain policy has changed and reconstructed the urban policy and planning system. Especially, this research has focused on the interaction of local decision-making and policy mutation processes. The results of the study are as follows. First, the mobilization of policy that appeared in Seoullo 7017 including benchmarking and policy promotion was strategically used by the Seoul city government. The main purpose of these mobilizations was to legitimize the city's urban policy. Seoullo 7017, which was a mayor's landmark project, has proceeded rapidly without the civic consensus process. In this regard, the New York High Line's success was used as a tool to represent the legitimacy of the Seoullo 7017 project. Also, the branding and promotion of Seoullo 7017, which received great attention from the city government, was used as a self-curation tool to make the success story of Seoul's urban policy. Second, the mobilization and adaptation of the High Line were proceeded selectively according to specific political goals of the Seoul city government. Seoullo 7017 benchmarked both the design and governance of the High Line. Lots of critics pointed out that the design should be differentiated, as the regional context of Seoul and New York was different, However, the design was similarly imitated into Seoullo 7017 because of the symbolic image of the High Line's design itself. Also, the management style which emphasized citizen participation and governance were also imitated, but it ends with instrumental form due to bureaucratic political structure. As such, adaptation, mobilization, and mutation has been carried out in accordance with the process of legitimizing local policy and political authority. The importance of this research is that it investigates the consequences and implications of mobile urban policies through an empirical case at various points. However, it also has its limitations as this study looks into various aspects of mobile policies on a superficial level. 학위논문 (석사)-- 서울대학교 대학원 : 교육학과(교육학전공), 2012. 2. 박현정. ; 이 연구의 목적은 공군에 복무하는 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지, 자기효능감, 자아탄력성이 군 생활 적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고, 변인들 간의 구조적 관계 및 상대적인 영향력의 크기를 확인하는 것이다. 그리고 이 때 개인의 정의적 특성인 자기효능감, 자아탄력성이 사회적 지지와 군 생활 적응의 관계에서 매개변인으로 작용하는지 확인하는 것이다. 한 개인이 타인과의 의미 있는 상호작용의 결과로부터 얻을 수 있는 긍정적 자원인 사회적 지지는 스트레스에 대한 예방과 적응에 도움을 줄 수 있는 효과적인 완충제 역할을 함으로써 좌절을 극복하고 문제해결의 도전을 받아들이는 능력을 강화한다(Sarson, 1991; Sarson et al., 1983). 그러므로 병사들이 군대 환경의 맥락에서 지각하는 사회적 지지는 이들의 군 생활 적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 주요한 변인이 될 수 있다. Bandura(1995)는 긍정적 자기효능감은 어려운 과제나 장애에 직면했을 때 자신을 동기화하고 좌절과 고통을 극복하게 함으로써 장애로부터의 성공적인 회복과 치료에 중요한 영향을 미친다고 주장하였는데, 이는 부여된 임무를 수행하는 병사들의 과업 수행과 직무 만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미쳐 군 생활 적응을 매개하는 변인으로 작용할 수 있음을 나타낸다. 또한 환경의 역경과 스트레스 상황에서 융통성 있는 행동과 문제해결 전략을 동원하여 심리적 적응을 중재하는 변인으로 밝혀진 자아탄력성은 개인에게 낯선 삶의 경험과 수행을 요구하는 군대 환경의 맥락에서 병사들의 적응을 예측하고 매개하는 변인으로 작용할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 이론과 선행연구 결과를 근거로 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하고 이를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구문제 1. 공군 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지가 자기효능감, 자아탄력성, 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 1-1. 공군 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지가 군 생활 적응에 직접적 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 1-2. 자기효능감은 군 생활 적응에 직접적 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 1-3. 자아탄력성은 군 생활 적응에 직접적 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 2. 공군 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지는 자기효능감과 자아탄력성을 매개로 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 2-1. 공군 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지는 자기효능감을 매개로 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 2-2. 공군 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지는 자아탄력성을 매개로 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 2-3. 공군 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지는 자기효능감, 자아탄력성을 매개로 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 3. 공군 병사들의 자기효능감은 자아탄력성을 매개로 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는가? 위의 연구문제를 확인하기 위하여 공군에 근무하는 병사 520명을 대상으로 예비 및 본 조사 설문을 실시하였고, 연구모형에서 설정한 잠재변인의 구조적 관계를 확인하기 위해 구조방정식을 이용하여 모형을 분석하고 자기효능감, 자아탄력성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행연구 결과와 이론에 근거하여 설정한 사회적 지지, 자기효능감, 자아탄력성, 군 생활 적응의 구조적 관계에 대한 구조모형이 군대 환경의 맥락에서도 잘 지지되는 것으로 확인되었다. 모형 평가는 적합도 평가 지수의 기준이 확립된 TLI, CFI, RMSEA를 통해 평가하였고, 적합도 지수가 수용 가능한 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 이 연구에서 설정한 연구모형은 비교적 연구 자료를 적절하게 잘 설명하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 병사들이 지각하는 사회적 지지와 개인의 정의적 특성인 자기효능감, 자아탄력성은 군 생활 적응에 모두 직접적인 효과를 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 직접효과 크기는 자기효능감이 가장 큰 효과크기를 나타냈고, 이어서 사회적 지지, 자아탄력성 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 지지는 자기효능감, 자아탄력성 각각을 매개로 군 생활 적응에 간접적인 영향을 미치고 또한 자기효능감과 자아탄력성 두 개의 매개변인을 통해 군 생활 적응에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 간접효과의 크기는 자기효능감을 매개로 하는 효과가 가장 크게 나타났고, 이어 자기효능감과 자아탄력성을 매개로 하는 효과, 자아탄력성을 매개로 하는 효과 순으로 나타났다. 특히 자기효능감은 군 생활 적응에 미치는 직접효과 및 간접효과에 있어 가장 큰 주요 변인으로 확인되었다. 이 연구 결과를 통해 사회적 지지, 자기효능감, 자아탄력성, 군 생활 적응 간의 인과관계를 확인함으로써 병사들의 군 생활 적응을 예측하고 중재할 수 있는 유의미한 변인을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 병사들의 효과적인 군 생활 적응 중재방안을 수립하는 데 있어 여러 변인들 간의 구조적 관계 및 효과에 대한 보다 체계적이고 통합적인 관점으로 접근할 필요가 있음을 시사 하였다. ; The primary purpose of this study was to investigate what effects the social support, self-efficacy, and ego-resilience perceived by airmen in the military service have on the adjustment to military life, and to identify comparative effect size as well as structural relationship among variables. The study also aimed to explore whether self-efficacy and ego-resilience which are affective characteristics operated as mediating variables. The social support, as a positive resource, obtained by an individual through meaningful interactions with other people plays an effective buffering role in preventing stress and helping adjustment to an environment, Thus it reinforces the ability to overcome frustration and embrace any challenges for solving problems (Sarson, 1991; Sarson et al., 1983). Furthermore, the social support perceived by airmen in the military context can serve as a principal variable that has a significant effect on their adjustment to military life. Bandura (1995) asserted that when people face obstacles and demanding assignments, positive self-efficacy plays a crucial role in enabling people to motivate themselves and to overcome frustration and pain. This implies that the self-efficacy can have a positive effect on task performance and job satisfaction by airmen, and act as a mediating variable of the adjustment to military life. Ego-resilience, a variable that is assumed to arbitrate psychological adjustment by enabling people to employ flexible behaviors and problem solving strategies, faced with circumstantial adversities and stressful situations, can be a factor that predicts and mediates the adjustment of airmen to the military context in which the airmen are forced to face an unfamiliar environment and deal with unaccustomed work. The present study, based on these theories, presents the following research questions. 1. Does the social support perceived by airmen have an effect on self-efficacy, ego-resilience, and the adjustment to military life? 1-1. Does the social support perceived by airmen have an direct effect on the adjustment to military life? 1-2. Does the self-efficacy have an direct effect on the adjustment to military life? 1-3. Does the ego-resilience have an direct effect on the adjustment to military life? 2. Does the social support perceived by airmen have an effect on the adjustment to military life through the mediation of self-efficacy, ego-resilience? 2-1. Does the social support perceived by airmen have an effect on the adjustment to military life through the mediation of self-efficacy? 2-2. Does the social support perceived by airmen have an effect on the adjustment to military life through the mediation of ego-resilience? 2-3. Does the social support perceived by airmen have an effect on the adjustment to military life through the mediation of self-efficacy, ego-resilience? 3. Does the self-efficacy have an effect on the adjustment to military life through the mediation of ego-resilience? In order to investigate the questions above, both preliminary and main questionnaires were conducted on 520 airmen served in ROK Air Force. The validation of the tool was made through the process of both exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analyses on the scale of the adjustment to military life. The model was also analysed by using structural equation model to identify the structural relations among latent variables established in the research model, with the verification of the mediating effect of self-efficacy and ego-resilience. The key findings of the research are summarized as follows: First, it was confirmed that structural model on the structural relationship between the three variables, social support, self-efficacy and ego-resilience and the adjustment to military life, which were based on previous studies and theories, was well supported in the military context. Model test was conducted through TLI, CFI, RMSEA, in which the criteria of model test fit were established, and it turned out that model fit could be acceptable. Thus, it may be seen that research data could be explained relatively appropriately by the research model established in this thesis. Second, it turned out that both the social support and self-efficacy as well as ego-resilience affected the adjustment to military life directly. With regard to the effect size of the variables, they were arranged in the order of self-efficacy, social support, and ego-resilience. Third, the social support had indirect effects on the adjustment to military life through the mediation of self-efficacy and ego-resilience respectively. In addition, the social support affected the adjustment to military life indirectly through the mediation of both self-efficacy and ego-resilience. The effect size was arranged in the order of the mediation of self-efficacy, the mediation of both self-efficacy and ego-resilience, and the mediation of ego-resilience. In particular, self-efficacy turned out to be the primary variable that affected the adjustment to military life both directly and indirectly. The result of the study showed the structural relationship between the three variables, social support, self-efficacy and ego-resilience and the adjustment to military life, those variables turned out to be the ones that can predict and mediate the adjustment to military life. This implies that in establishing effective intervention methods on the adjustment to military life, a systematic and unified approach, based on the structural relationship among various variables and their effectiveness, should be made. ; Master
