This article seeks to return to the corpus of knowledge of the sixteenth century, a time understood as the Era of similarities, second reading of Michel Foucault. We are interested in the approximation of the practical order of the period - rich in signs and spellings - in order to pause in its proper conception of the world - rich in symbology. In this analysis, the Renaissance world will be involved in an intensification of the ordination exercise, governed by forms according to which similarities become known: the so-called figures of similarities - signatura, convenientia, aemulatio, analogia and simpatia. In addition, adhering to a background of general configuration, the notion of circle as a figurative referential will be emphasized, which can be understood in the understanding of the general space of Renaissance knowledge. From the notion of circle we shall refer to the practice of circulation of similarities, and through this we shall indicate a Renaissance world deciphered or interpreted according to an exhaustible network, within the limits of the circular orbits emanating from the adjustment of similarities. In practice, the use of a symbolic marking - inclusive, extended to the cosmic dimension - enables us to visualize an arrangement of how, through the ordering of knowledge, certain dispositions are promoted "between" and "for" things and people in the world.

The general objective of this article is to investigate, in Foucault's perspective, the relations between government and subjectivity, through the arts of government and the constitution of the modern state. In this task, we consider the courses given by Foucault, Security, Territory, Population and The birth of biopolitics, to deal with the presence of pastoral power in the constitution of governmentality. The specific objective is to research other possibilities of social organization, associated with democratic principles, such as solidarity and self-management in opposition to the effects generated by neoliberalism, with a generalization of market values in individual and collective practices. In our hypothesis, we consider an anarchist perspective as the vital counterpoint in the production of other forms of social and political life, beyond exclusively economic principles. At this point, we present the basic concepts of anarchist values, such as an idea of self-management, mutual support, an idea of freedom, found in Bakunin, Kropotkin and Goldman, and a possibility of thinking about resistances and practices in the present, as reflected by Rago. We also went through a critique of the model of social organization and the very idea of democracy, based on Graeber's indicators in A project of democracy. Finally, our effort aim to reflect on the possibilities of another world, from a perspective that is radically opposed to the political and social practices that are found nowadays. We intend, therefore, to think about the present time and the possibility of new forms of existence.
Background: While Brazilian governmental initiatives focused on home broadband Internet access, availability of computers for students in schools has been drastically reduced since 2010. Furthermore, schools usually prohibits mobile Internet access in its premises, contrarily to the migration of students' access to smartphones. Objectives: This study investigates the impact of the increasing home and mobile Internet access on the existing educational inequalities. Design: This study made use of quantitative, locally statistical research to investigate the reproduction or closing of existing educational digital divide across already contrasting Brazilian regions. Setting and Participants: Child or adolescent from 9 to 17 years of age and their guardians, interviewed by CETIC.br. Data collection and analysis: Data was obtained from the CETIC.br data portal and the Google Trends webpage. Data were analysed by means of local geostatistical measures of spatial autocorrelation and inequality, as well as bivariate choropleth maps. Results: Our results suggest that the Brazilian school system is failing to cultivate in their students the more productive use of Internet access and therefore contributing to the widening of the existing second-level digital divide between regions and social classes. Conclusions: This digital divide was critically exacerbated by the arrival of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the suspension of presential classes.Brazilian policymakers should concentrate efforts and resources in addressing this large-scale second-level digital divide, possibly by equipping educators and students with the knowledge and skills towards the educational, productive and responsible use of the Internet, as well as allowing mobile Internet access in school premises.

"This book is an exploration of Western thought that emerged from the fringes of the great philosophical schools. In particular, it analyzes various cultural phenomena or studies the work of certain authors essential to understand European culture in its entirety since classical Greece. This is the context for investigating the presence of rites, myths, witches and religious ideas in Europe due to philosophical systems, but also thoughts born on the fringes of the majority philosophical currents. All this is explained in three parts: the first, centered on the ancient world; the second, Christianity; the third, in Europe until the 17th century"--
