The article concerns the issue of the hospitality market development from the perspective of changes taking place in the economy of the 21st century as well as in the economic policy pursued at the level of states and integration groups. For this purpose, an analysis of changes in the supply of hotel services, the demand for hotel services and potential management efficiency of hotel facilities was conducted. To investigate the changes taking place in the hotel industry the basic instruments of economic analysis were used which allowed to analyze the dynamics and the structure of the examined phenomena against a background of the wider economic processes.
Wybrane determinanty sprawności świadczenia usług administracyjnych w urzędach administracji samorządowe
After the reform in January 1st, 1999 Polish public administration has been divided into three levels, with following basic units a community, a county and a voivodeship. These units of local self-government should provide public services for the locals but generally they fulfill their tasks below standard,an effect of which is considerable public dissatisfaction. The study undertakes to distinguish the prerequisites for the efficient realization of public services. The introduction contains a definition of public services and presents the concept of a system approach to self-government administration. It has been assumed that the improvement of the organization of self-government administration concerns two areas: the organizational structure and the administrative procedures relevant for the realization of public services. This approach enabled the author to distinguish the prerequisites for the efficient realization of public services, which were characterized in the consecutive part of the study. The conclusion presents the areas and methods for the improvement of the organization of self-government administration institutions.

The book addresses issues related to labor market policy, shows the relevant mechanisms of its research, programming and implementation, and its subject is, in particular, the analysis of the situation of employees of employment offices and the unemployed themselves. The book is multidimensional. For me, the first part, in which the author presents his view on trends in the policy of the labor market that are decreasing in the environment of our science, presents to me a special focus. Recognizes the disproportionate emphasis on the analysis of legal acts, on "official documents, on target-set objectives, often unrealistic." He points to the dean of the research perspective in which the official who is the "face of the state" is present, which determines the quality of public service , de "perspectives of the final recipient", i.e. a citizen (quality of services for a citizen).
Euroregion in the role of management of structural aid and as a natural cluster
This paper concerns the institutional and organizational structure of the Euroregion. It is multi-level and affects the functioning of the Euroregions, including, but not limited to, organized approach to the use of structural aid under the regional policy of the European Union (EU). The highest level of the organization is the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR), which lobbies for Euro-regions within the EU and provides professional services for broadly understood regional action. In turn, the Euroregion itself is also organized by having institutions. This allows for an orderly performing of tasks at the local level while showing a "different" approach to management, which can take many forms.

Usługi elektroniczne w Polsce i w Unii Europejskiej ; E-services in Poland and European Union
Zmiany polityczne, społeczne i gospodarcze zapoczątkowane w Polsce w 1989 r. stworzyły podstawy do dynamicznego rozwoju sektora działalności usługowej. Istotnym aspektem przemian organizacyjnych w sferze usług jest także rozwój nowych form świadczenia tradycyjnych usług z zastosowaniem technik komputerowych i sieci internetowej (usługi elektroniczne), np. elektroniczna administracja, zdalna edukacja czy handel elektroniczny. Rozwój nowych form świadczenia usług był możliwy dzięki postępowi w technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnej (ICT). Głównym celem artykułu jest analiza poziomu rozwoju usług elektronicznych w Polsce na tle innych państw Unii Europejskiej. Formułuje się następujące cele szczegółowe: (1) systematyzacja terminologii związanej z usługami elektronicznymi, (2) określenie uwarunkowań rozwoju usług elektronicznych w Polsce i innych państwach UE, (3) charakterystyka poziomu rozwoju wybranych typów usług elektronicznych dla odbiorców indywidualnych i przedsiębiorstw w Polsce, (4) porównanie poziomu rozwoju wybranych typów usług elektronicznych w Polsce z innymi państwami UE. ; Political, social and economic changes initiated in Poland in 1989 formed basis for dynamic development of service activity. An important aspect of organizational change in services is the development of new forms of services provision with the use of computer technology and the Internet (electronic services), such as e-government, e-learning and e-commerce. The development of new forms of service provision has been possible by advancement in the development of information and communication technology (ICT). The main purpose of this article is to analyse the level of development of electronic services in Poland in comparison to other European Union countries. The following specific objectives can be formulated: (1) systematization of terminology related to e-services, (2) defining of the development conditions of e-services in Poland and other EU countries, (3) characteristic of the level of development of selected types of e-services for individuals and enterprises in Poland (4) comparing the level of development of selected types of e-services in Poland to other EU countries.

Some phenomena associated with ageing populations are transition of economies to focus more on the production and distribution of goods and services for older adults as well as for younger age groups as part of their preparation for old age. The paper presents the main features of the concept of "silver economy" in the context of active ageing policies. The study presents a typology of the silver economy models in the European Union at national and regional levels based on the use of the Active Ageing Index in comparison to the typology of differences and cultures of capitalism as well as the typology of welfare states. The summary contains conclusions for practical interventions and proposals for further research.
Migracja ukraińskich pracowników w Polsce podczas pandemii COVID-19

About 1 million migrants currently reside in Poland, and mainly they are workers from Ukraine. Restrictions on crossing the borders of the Republic of Poland in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and the prospect of economic recession have become motivating factors for Ukrainian workers to leave the Polish labor market. Restrictions of trade and services in many Polish enterprises forced the reduction of their staff in fear of bankruptcy. Entrepreneurs who dismissed their employees without waiting for government support in the form of the "anti-crisis shield" most often focused on people with the lowest seniority, who are not on employment contracts, and those coming from national minorities. The analysis of the migration of Ukrainian workers in Poland during the COVID- 19 outbreak will allow us to assess the scale of this migration and attempt to answer the question whether Polish entrepreneurs act in the spirit of national patriotism or racism. The study aims to analyze the response of public services and institutions as a result of migration caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Migration and compilations related to crossing the state border have revealed the poor preparation of border services for such a large scale of migration. There has also been an increase in the number of cases of national racism in the society.
