This article is about developing a sociological approach towards generational cohort analysis. The previously examined generation of millennials is divided into two age cohorts. A specific group of so-called "3S" millennials ("smartphones", "social media", "slump in the economy") is distinguished. This younger generation entered their period of adulthood starting in the year of 2008, which was marked by continuous economic recession and a broad dissemination of new technologies and digital consumer services. Data was gathered from the annual Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS–HSE) for the years 1994–2018. The obtained results show a divide within the millennial generation, measured by a multiplicity of social indicators along with the preservation of many inter-generational differences. In part one of the paper published in this issue of the journal, we reveal that the younger "3S" generation of millennials has been dealing with new digital technologies since their early adolescent years. They are better educated, have more educated parents, and often postpone important decisions like marriage, first pregnancy, having children, employment in the labor market. Many intra- and intergenerational differences remain stable during the observation period when controlling for age and other standard variables.

Исследования проведены на территории Паркового лесничества учебно-опытного лесхоза Уральского государственного лесотехнического университета. Сбор полевых материалов осуществлялся при помощи квадрокоптера DJI Mavic Pro и метода пробных площадей. Полевые работы произведены в декабре 2017 г. В ходе исследований было заложено 4 пробные площади в естественных насаждениях, произрастающих в типах леса сосняк брусничный и сосняк ягодный, а также получено 314 фотографий исследуемых сосняков с высоты 80 м. В статье приведены методика и описание опыта применения квадрокоптера для создания трехмерной модели лесных насаждений в условиях минусовых температур; таксационная характеристика рассматриваемых сосновых древостоев; рекомендации для проведения подобных исследований в лесных условиях. Управление квадрокоптером осуществлялось при помощи пульта и программы SkyDrones, установленной на смартфон. Опытным путем установлено, что в горных условиях следует начинать съемку в верхнем положении относительно рельефа. Эксплуатация квадрокоптера при минусовых температурах возможна, но следует учитывать, что, используя квадрокоптер с нарушением правил его эксплуатации, вы берете всю ответственность на себя и производитель в случае поломок имеет право отказать в гарантийном ремонте. Кроме того, минусовые температуры уменьшают емкость аккумулятора, что сокращает время полета квадрокоптера. Следует также учитывать, что правовые нормы, регулирующие использование беспилотных летательных аппаратов, в России разработаны недостаточно и следует с осторожностью применять их рядом с аэропортами, военными объектами, линиями электропередач и частными территориями. ; The investigations have been carried out ou the para forestry territory of the Ural state forest engineering university training forestry. Collection of field materials has been accomplished by using DJI mavic pro quadrupter and the method of trial plats. Field works has been carried out dering December 2017. As a result of these researches 4 trail plots have been in natural plantations growing in pine cow berry and pine berry forest types and 314 photos of investigated pine stands have been received from the height of 80 meters. At should also be taken into account that legal norms that regulate unmanned aerial velicle using in Russia have been developed unsufficiently, they should be used carefully in the neghbous hood of airports military objects, power transmission lines and private territories.
