Książka stanowi tom studiów autorstwa polskich i zagranicznych językoznawców poświęcony zmianom we współczesnych językach słowiańskich, szczególnie widocznym w słownictwie i słowotwórstwie. Uwzględnienie aspektu stylowo-funkcjonalnego w rozwoju leksyki pozwala lepiej zrozumieć dynamikę zmian językowych i skuteczność działań komunikacyjnych. Prace zostały pogrupowane w trzy działy tematyczne: - Zjawiska, procesy i tendencje rozwojowe w słownictwie specjalistycznym (terminologii); - Dynamika mechanizmów słowotwórczych i leksykalnych; - Zmiany leksykalne we współczesnej komunikacji językowej i dyskursie. W większości prac zastosowano podejście konfrontatywne, pozostałe stanowią podstawę do takiego ujęcia. Do badań wykorzystany został bogaty materiał języków słowiańskich: polskiego, czeskiego, słowackiego, białoruskiego, rosyjskiego, ukraińskiego, bułgarskiego, słoweńskiego, a także innych języków, jak np. nowogreckiego. ; This volume of studies by Polish and international linguists is devoted to changes in modern Slavic languages, which are especially noticeable in the spheres of vocabulary and word formation. Taking into consideration the stylistic and functional aspect of lexis development allows for a better understanding of the dynamics of language change and the efficacy of communicational acts. The purposeful and pragmatic character of communicational behaviour manifests itself widely in the social, political and cultural contexts considered by the Authors. The works comprising the volume are divided into three thematic sections: - Phenomena, processes and tendencies in the development of specialist lexis (terminology); - Word formation and lexical mechanisms dynamics; - Lexical change in modern language communication and discourse. The sections help organize the volume by highlighting the dominant theme in particular texts. The scopes of the sections are, nevertheless, not sharply delineated – each section is to an equal extent devoted to the complex and multifaceted subject-matter of the tendencies and changes in modern Slavic vocabulary. Most of the works comprised in the volume adopt a contrastive approach, the remaining ones can serve as bases for contrastive studies. The text analyse the rich material of the Slavic languages – Polish, Czech, Slovak, Belarusian, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Slovene – as well as of other languages, like Modern Greek. ; Publikacja finansowana ze środków Instytutu Slawistyki Polskiej Akademii Nauk
; The essential aspect of vulnerability as an ethic principle of the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights is to formulate a moral action obligation facing the situations that endanger certain society groups. In this sense, this study aims to promote a reflection, starting from the principle of respect for human vulnerability, using as target audience the motorcyclists and their experience using the motorcycle. It is a study with qualitative approach, using quali-quantitative methodology for the analysis of participants' interviews. From the motorcyclists' experience with the use of motorcycle it was possible to present some notes that meet the need for respect for human vulnerability and the use of motorcycle, namely: maximization of human intrinsic vulnerability; social vulnerability; and State's social responsibility in the face of the use of motorcycle. By considering the respect for human vulnerability and the use of motorcycle, it is necessary to correlate aspects that involve social responsibility with situations of human susceptibility to harm. Therefore, it is essential the implementation of intervention policies that embrace economic, cultural and political dimensions, through intersectionality, in order to effectively reach all actors involved in the dynamics of motorcycle traffic safety: State, policing authorities, vehicle manufacturers, drivers, pedestrian, and cyclists.
The present work proposes to explore the Program of Attention to the Family (PAIF), the profile of registered families and their vulnerability factors as requirements for enrollment in the Program, in the light of the intervention carried out during the internship period in Psychology emphasis. This paper aimed to verify the profile of registered families and vulnerability factors, based on the assumptions of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS). It was also possible, through the above mentioned intervention, to create a work process management tool, proposing to help the service professionals in apprehending the aspects of vulnerability of the families, to give the necessary referrals and to propose the necessary strategies for the autonomy and protagonism of the Individuals. After analyzing the vulnerability factors, it can be seen that only half of the families enrolled at the time of the intervention presented a profile for follow-up by the Program, and yet, the follow-up was not being carried out.

This article aims to analyse, through the Critical Discourse Analysis and a Multimodal perspective, two front-pages of Super Notícia, a popular newspaper, to identify the relationship between the linguistic and image choices and the ideologies, hegemonies and persuasion strategies used by the newspaper's producers in search for interaction and acceptance of the product by the target audience. The analysis is based on linguistic aspects, passing through the image aspects until it reaches the explicit or implicit ideologies contained in the newspaper's front-page speech. "Critical Analysis" implies showing implicit connections and causes, since the relations between the discursive, social and cultural choices are not always transparent. The results show that, through discursive strategies, such as democratization and technologization, the newspaper seeks to persuade its audience and sell the product. Moreover, the images are used to the maintenance of practices and ideologies concerning gender, hegemony preservation and maintenance of some stereotypes.

; This paper aims to analyze the Mais Médicos program (PMM) as a public health policy, describing some of its main characteristics and presenting data that allow an insight into its performance, bringing to light, among other aspects, the discrepancy between the results achieved and the opposition placed by the Conselho Federal de Medicina and the Conselho Regional de Medicina do Estado de São Paulo - medicine councils from the federation and from the state of São Paulo. Taking as reference the public policies cycle, the study focuses on the formulation and implementation stages. Using the analytical reference the concepts of bureaucratic insulation and window of opportunity, it is argued that the PMM has instigating aspects, either because of the insulated characteristics that mark its formulation process - which leads one to believe that the program has been maintained disregarding the external pressures of this initial phase -, or because of the favorable environment created by the days of June 2013, marked by popular manifestations that paved the way for the federal government to launch the clearly controversial initiative. These characteristics, associated with the significant social impact of the program, provide reflections that can contribute to the improvement of the knowledge on public policies processes.
The present study is linked to the research project "Imaginário na Amazônia: um estudo sobre as representações produzidas pelo jornalismo do G1/Acre", registered at the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Acre (FAPAC). The article proposes a debate on the representations and imaginary of the Brazilian Amazon, emphasizing the South-Western region, where Acre is located. It is known that since the arrival of the first Europeans, the region is observed by the dichotomy hell/tropical paradise and its population is identified as exotic, picturesque and primitive. Therefore, the research proposal is to analyze if the journalistic narratives help to maintain the preconceptions or if they are created new possibilities of interpretation on the Acre. In order to propose the reflection, six news articles published in G1/Acre on aspects of the Amazon region of Acre will be studied. The study includes materials published between 2014 and 2016. Roger Chartier is used to study representations, authors such as Miquel Alsina to discuss communication issues and Francisco Foot Hardman, Ana Pizarro, Durval Muniz de Albuquerque Junior, among others, that discuss issues related to the Amazon region.
