; Research methodology. Another test for Ukrainian people was famine. The famine in Ukraine in 1946-1947 was caused by various factors. The second reason was the post-war devastation, which led to the destruction of all parts of Ukraine's economy. Despite their efforts, children were deprived of any food for a long time and in addition to unbearable physical torture, underwent moral suffering. They did not understand why their mother did not want to feed them, because they want to eat so much, and their father, always so strong, allowed strangers to take everything out of their yard.According to various historians, between 1.5 and 4 million children died of starvation during the Holodomor. ; Abstract: The relevance of students' political education at national higher education institutions lies in compensating the flaws of this kind of education within a family, in gaining by these young people the political culture that will become their special social protection, and a condition for civil stability, while, simultaneously, providing the social dynamism with legal, not revolutional means. The aim of this paper is to discover the reasons that slow down the political education of Ukrainian students by analyzing the leading legislative documents regarding education; to justify the social-pedagogical nature of this education by comparing the concept «social education» with «political education»; to prove the effectiveness of the social-pedagogical approach to political education of nation's students during the period of society democratization, its decentralization. After analyzing the laws of Ukraine «On education», «On higher education», the Concepts of national education of student youth and national-patriotic education of children and youth, we have reached a conclusion that they reflect the lack of understanding of the meaning of political education on the state level, or a fear of one, just like it was with «national education» during soviet times. Fear of political education is tied to matching it, as we believe, with youth choosing certain political values, and because the authoritativeness of the higher education system is still not completely out of the soviet past, «choosing» may turn to «coercing» the higher education recipients to follow certain political values. This is facilitated by the definition of this term by political scientists as well. The democratic nature of social pedagogy ensures its representation as a purposeful process of creating favorable conditions for students' political development, which is part of their social, particularly civil, development. The aim of political education of students, from the social-pedagogical point of view, is to promote their growth from political literacy through political competence to political culture (value-based approach to political being, political subjectness, political creativity, critical perception of political information, political cooperation, positive political communication etc.). The social-pedagogical approach to political education is realized not only through immediate work with higher education recipients, stimulating their political self-education, but also through mediums of social environment, like HEI, as well as through including various social institutions and establishments: the youth's subculture, means of mass communication, culture and art establishments, law enforcement authorities, virtual social networks etc.

Some theoretical provisions for the production of subsoil resources and its information display are being developed. The economic and technological features of the study of mineral resources and their extraction from the natural environment are analyzed. Divided into types of production processes for search and exploration in the natural environment of autogenesis resources. It is proposed to take into account the types of costs for their organized production. The composition of the estimated indicators of subsoil resources should include indicators of the amount of payment to the people as the owner of natural resources. This norm belongs to the norms of fiscal geology. Economic resource developments belong to economic geology. Together, these sciences are part of resource science. Of course, these provisions of our vision of subsoil use require in–depth and thorough research and legislation.
Introduction. The problems of social protection and social security of the population are particularly acute during the crisis caused by the coronavirus. The shortage of the own financial resources and the difficulties with attracting external credit resources during the global economic slowdown have created new challenges for public authorities, which require complex solutions. The purpose of the article. The purpose of the article was to substantiate theoretically concepts of "social protection" and "social security", to study the peculiarities of social protection of the population in emergency situations. The following research objectives have been identified: to reveal the essence and interrelation of the concepts of "social security" and "social protection"; explore the peculiarities of social protection and social security during the quarantine period. Results. Having combined and summarized most of the interpretations and approaches, we can say that there is no common accepted definition of the concepts of "social security" and "social protection of the population", as well as the unity of opinion on their composition, structure and methods of expression. Based on the research conducted, we have created our own vision of the nature of these categories and we believe that they are usually incorrectly interpreted. In our view, the category "social protection" is a broader term, which includes "social security". The authorities of Ukraine were not ready for the social protection and social security of the population under quarantine. Therefore, most of the management decisions in this area were non-systemic and based on the analogy of countries of the European Union not taking into account national peculiarities. Compared to EU countries, there is insignificant financial reserve in Ukraine, miniscule household wealth accumulation, a weak health-care system, significant imbalances in the structure of small and large businesses. In addition, there are significant numbers of migrant workers and socially vulnerable groups, which have created additional risks. The measures taken by the Cabinet of Ministers to establish an emergency situation throughout the country were controversial from a legal point of view, as they restricted the constitutional rights of citizens without the imposition of a state of emergency. A significant part of the population was forced to go on leave with no pay, without receiving any compensation from the state to pay for the utility bills. A similar situation has developed in business, operational activities have actually stopped, although taxes and loan obligations must be paid. Such a situation in which the state imposes additional restrictions and obligations on individuals and entities without fulfilling compensation measures in response, we propose to call a "hybrid emergency". Conclusions. In our opinion, to ensure effective social protection of the population under quarantine, it is necessary: To ensure self-isolation of the population who are at risk (over sixty years old, with chronic diseases, weakened immunity, etc.), without setting the limits on healthy working-age citizens. Organize an effective observation for all citizens arriving from countries with an increased epidemic situation. Produce our own disinfectants, overalls and equipment on preferential taxation terms. Maximize contactless payments (by credit cards, phones with an NFC module) in order to limit cash circulation and reduce the risk of transmission of the virus through banknotes. To do this, it is necessary to stimulate the sphere of contactless payments by loyalty programs both for bank customers and for financial institutions themselves; transfer cash issuance of pensions and other social payments to bank card accounts. Arrange the delivery of vital products and goods to vulnerable categories of the population in order to minimize their presence in public places, using the resources of Ukrposhta and territorial centers of social services. Limit the export of important essential food products, in particular buckwheat, wheat, oil, in order to create their stocks in the country for the long term, and improve social security in the country. We see the prospects for further research in the development of effective methods of social security under quarantine conditions in order to achieve maximum standards of social protection with a minimum restriction of the rights and freedoms of the population. The article looks into communication models of implementing the New Man project in recent Ukrainian history. The scientific novelty of this research implies thorough analysis of historical facts and communication processes through the lens of social engineering. The author draws on extensive theoretical material for a comprehensive interpretation of the social engineering concept. In this research social engineering in understood as an efficient technological model of managing social objects that is capable of working productively in crisis points of social, economic, and political development. Therefore, its main tool is a step-by-step system reform with ongoing communication support and careful forecasting of possible developments. However, recent world history has presented facts of radical social engineering when social modernization processes went hand in hand with political repressions, genocide programs, information blockade and massive propaganda. Unfortunately, in Ukraine the New Person project was implemented in the context of establishing a totalitarian regime. The author argues that the project of creating a New/Soviet Person turned into a communication platform of the Soviet regime establishment; it was implemented through the Bolsheviks' well-planned information and cultural policies, pedagogical and educational technologies. The article shows the dynamics of the New Man concept transformation into the ideological construct of Soviet people ubiquitous in public discourse of the Stalinism era. The researcher analyzes cultural and scientific roots of the Soviet People project and concludes that under favorable historical progress Ukraine could have implemented truly effective social development projects.Key words: eugenics, New Man, Soviet people, social engineering, communication technologies, propaganda. Introduction. The modern development of the world globalization economy is accompanied by natural disasters, and instability of the political system and financial systems. In 2020, this development was significantly affected by the global pandemic COVID-19. These reasons significantly affected the financial results of enterprises. The effects of the economic crisis, especially the pandemic, have been felt by such a fund- building sector of the economy as construction. The development of this field provides additional jobs to companies in other industries. First of all, they include the building materials industry, furniture industry, chemical and machine-building industries. Many problematic issues have accumulated in accounting for the financial results of construction companies which require urgent solutions. They are related to the recognition of costs and revenues in accordance with the requirements of international and national accounting standards, the characteristics of their components, non-compliance with regulatory documents on pricing and accounting of enterprises in the industry, the definition of costs and revenues related to emergencies. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the need to improve the regulatory and legal support of accounting for financial results in construction in view of the changes that have occurred in the social and economic spheres of our state.Methods. The methodological basis of the study was the use of a systematic approach in the process of disclosing problematic aspects of accounting for financial results. The research methods of theoretical generalization, analysis, structural and functional approach were used to identify problem areas of accounting for financial results, while modeling, induction and deduction, and grouping helped to improve the accounting of costs and revenues from emergencies and clarification of sub-accounts and analytical accounts for accounting of financial results. Additionally, with abstract and logical, and comparison methods we substantiated the components of the contract price in construction and improved information support on the amount of net profit from each activity in management accounting. Finally, the results of the study are presented using tabular method. Results. The article analyzes the components of income of construction companies that affect the size of the financial result from the main activity. An improved structure of the contract price for construction projects is proposed, which is consistent with the costs in accordance with the requirements of accounting standards. This characteristic of the current state of accounting for costs and revenues in case of emergency is provided as part of determining the financial results of these events. It is proposed to reflect them as part of other operating expenses and other operating income in the event of loss on damage to current assets due to emergency. Where the construction company has suffered a loss of long-term assets as a result of such events, it is recommended that such losses be summarised in account 97 for "other expenses" and 74 for "other income". It is also proposed to retrain 97 "other costs and investment activities" and 74 "other income- generating investment activities", respectively. It is reasonable to change the names of sub-accounts to account 79 "financial results". It is recommended to charge income tax on each type of activity in order to more accurately determine the net profit. The proposals of scientists to improve the accounting of retained earnings (uncovered losses) are analyzed. Suggestions are made to improve this area accounting for financial results.Prospects for further research. Prospects for further research are the formation of components of income and expenses from all activities of construction companies as elements in the extraction of financial results. This is especially true of income and expenses of the main activities of the construction industry.
