Toplumların hayatlarının her alanını etkileyen küreselleşmenin pek tabii çevre üzerinde de etkisi olacaktır. Çevreyle ilgili sorunların ve buna bağlı olarak çevresel duyarlılığın giderek daha fazla artması ile ülkelerin çevresel performanslarını ölçme ve değerlendirmeleri son yıllarda daha çok önem kazanmıştır. Bu bağlamda küreselleşmenin ülkelerin çevresel performanslarına etkisini belirlemeye yönelik yapılan bu çalışmada, ekonomik, sosyal ve politik küreselleşme boyutlarından oluşan ve İsviçre Ekonomi Enstitüsü tarafından yayınlanan KOF Küreselleşme Endeksi ile yine ülkelerin çevresel performansını çok yönlü ölçmeye imkân tanıyan ve Yale Çevre Hukuku ve Politikası Merkezi tarafından yayınlanan Çevresel Performans Endeksinden (ÇPE) yararlanılmıştır. Gayri safi yurt içi hasılanın kontrol değişkeni olarak dâhil edildiği bu çalışmada üç değişkenin de ortak olarak verilerinin bulunduğu 174 ülkenin verileri ile analizler yapılmıştır. Model, yapısal eşitlik modeli (YEM) vasıtasıyla çoklu regresyon analizi kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre küreselleşmenin sosyal ve politik boyutlarının çevresel performansa pozitif yönde etki yaptıkları görülmüştür. Ekonomik küreselleşmenin ise çevresel performans üzerindeki etkisi anlamlı değildir. Bununla birlikte GSYİH, politik küreselleşme ile çevresel performans arasındaki pozitif ilişkiyi güçlendirirken, sosyal küreselleşme ile çevresel performans arasındaki pozitif ilişkiyi zayıflatmaktadır. ; Globalization, which affects every aspect of societies also have an impact on the environment. In recent years, it has become more important for countries to measure and evaluate their environmental performance as environmental problems and consequently environmental awareness increases. In this context, the KOF Globalization Index published by the Swiss Economic Institute, which is composed of economic, social and political globalization dimensions and The Environmental Performance Index (EPI) published by the Yale Environmental Law and Policy Centre, which measures the environmental performance extensively were used to determine the impact of globalization on the environmental performance of countries. In this study, where the gross domestic product was included as a control variable, analyses were made with the data of 174 countries in which all three variables have common data. Multiple regression analysis by employing structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to test the relationships in the model. According to the results of the analysis, social and political dimensions of globalization have positive effects on environmental performance. The impact of economic globalization on environmental performance is not significant. Besides, GDP strengthens the positive relationship between political globalization and environmental performance, while weakening the positive relationship between social globalization and environmental performance.

Çevresel etki değerlendirmesi (ÇED), çevre üzerinde olumsuz etkileri muhtemel projelerin hayata geçirilmesinden önce tüm yönleriyle incelenerek, çevreye verebileceği zararların, alınabilecek tedbirlerin ve alternatif yöntemlerin tespiti maksadıyla halkın katılımı ile birlikte yürütülen disiplinler arası bir çalışma ve süreçtir. ÇED sürecinde projeden etkilenecek bölge halkı, konunun uzmanları ve proje sahibinin sağlayacağı bilgi ve değerlendirmeler projenin akıbeti hakkında verilecek kararı etkileyecektir. Bu karar kimi zaman proje için maddi kaynak, zaman ve emek harcayan proje sahibinin aleyhine sonuçlanacak kimi zaman da projeden etkilenecek bölge halkını tatmin etmeyecektir. Bu şartlar altında idari kararın yargı makamları önüne gelerek denetlenmesi gerekecektir. ÇED, idari kararın alınması ve sonuçlarının denetlenmesinde halkın katılımına yer vererek iyi yönetim ilkesini idare hukukuna yansıtmaktadır. Çağdaş bir idari usul müessesi olan ÇED, idarenin çevre ile ilgili kararının ortaya çıkış ve icrasını önceden belirli şekil ve kurallara bağlamakta, böylelikle proje sahibinin ve bundan etkilenecek halkın menfaatlerini korumaktadır. Kuramsal çerçevede önemli bir fonksiyon icra etmesi beklenen çevresel etki değerlendirmesi kavramının ortaya çıkışı, idare hukukuna, idari usule ve idari yargıya yansıması bu tez çalışmasında incelenecek, uygulamadaki sorunlara ilişkin tespit ve çözüm önerilerimiz sunulacaktır. ; Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is an interdisciplinary study and process carried out in order to identify and predict the potential environmental impacts of an investment project and propose means to avoid or reduce the significant impacts. Public participation, the involvement of consultants, and the proponent (investor) during the decision-making process are the main principles of EIA. All the information gathered during the process and evaluation helps the authority at decision making. Unless the positive decision of the authority the proponent can't obtain the permits and licenses to initiate his project. So the final decision can be disadvantageous for the project owner, who spends financial resources, time, and effort. O the other hand sometimes the decision may not satisfy the public that will be affected by the project. Both situations cause a legal conflict that has to be judged at the administrative jurisdiction. The public participation function of EIA ensure reflecting the principle of good governance to the administrative law. EIA, which is a contemporary administrative procedure institution, secure the emergence and execution of the administration's environmental decision to certain rules, thus protecting the interests of the project owner and the public. The development of the concept of environmental impact assessment, its reflection on administrative law, administrative procedure, and administrative jurisdiction will be examined in this thesis, and our determination and solution suggestions regarding the problems in practice will be presented.

Bu çalışma Uluslararası Sosyal Bilimler Programı'nın (USBP) 2010 tarihinde çevre üzerine otuz bir ülkede gerçekleştirdiği anket çalışmasının Türkiye verisini kullanarak vatandaşların çevre üzerine algılarını tartışmaktadır. Çalışma, Türkiye'de farklı demografik grupların çevre ile alakalı benzer endişeler dile getirdiklerini; ancak, bu endişelerini siyasi aktörlere iletebilecekleri kurumsal mekanizmalardan yoksun olduklarını ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma ayrıca, kırsal nüfusun çevre ile alakalı ortaya koyduğu algı ve eğilimlerdeki farklılıklara dikkat çekmektedir. Son olarak, Türkiye örneğinin farklı ülkelerle karşılaştırılması çevre sorunlarına etkin çözümler getirebilmiş Almanya örneğini öne çıkarmaktadır. ; Present study discusses citizen's perceptions and attitudes about environment in Turkey. For this purpose, it utilizes International Social Science Program's (ISSP) cross-country survey on environment, which was conducted in 2010 across thirty-one countries. The study's findings show that citizens of different demographic groups in Turkey mention similar concerns about the environment. Yet they also lack instituonal mechanisms to communicate these concerns to political actors. The study also underlines rural population's different perceptions and attitudes towards environmental issues in comparison with other demographic groups. Yeryüzünde binlerce yıldır var olan insanoğlu, endüstri devrimi ile birlikte doğayla girdiği mücadeleyi kazanmaya başlamıştır. Aslında kazandığını sandığı savaşı kay-betmekte olduğunun farkına ise ancak 1970'lerden sonra varabilmiştir. Endüstri devrimi ne olursa olsun salt ilerleme fikriyle gelmiş ve devam etmiştir. Bu sürekli ilerleme fikri ile ülkelerin kalkınma çabaları giderek kalkınma politikalarına dö-nüşmüştür. Günümüzde kalkınma politikaları ile belirlenen hedefler, ülkelerin en önemli uğ-raşı alanıdır. Ancak devletler tarafından sorumsuzca sürdürülen uğraşılar netice-sinde, doğal kaynakların tükenebileceği, türlerin yok olabileceği ve kirliliğin doğal dengeyi bozacak düzeye gelebileceği yaşayarak tecrübe edilmiştir. Bu durumun farkına varılmasıyla birlikte çevre ile kalkınma arasında bir denge oluşturulması-nın gerekliliği gündeme gelmiştir. Çevreye zarar vermeden kalkınmanın gerçek-leştirilebilmesi için belirlenen politikalardan en önemlisi olan sürdürülebilir kal-kınma kavramı tüm dünyada kabul edilmiş ve uygulanan bir kalkınma modelidir. Sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefine ulaşabilmek için kullanılan önemli bir araç ola-rak ortaya çıkan "Çevresel Etki Değerlendirmesi" (ÇED) ilk kez 1969 yılında Ame-rika Birleşik Devletleri'nde uygulanmaya başlamıştır. Günümüzde birçok devlet tarafından çeşitli şekillerde ve boyutlarda uygulanan ÇED, Türkiye'de de uygulanmaktadır. 1993 yılında ilk ÇED Yönetmeliği'nin uygu-lamaya konulmasından günümüze, defalarca çevresel açıdan olumsuz olan bir-çok revizyona uğramıştır. Bu makalede kalkınma ile çevre arasında bulunan ve halen kalıcı çözüme ulaşa-mamış sorunlar ile ÇED uygulamasının bu sorunlara olan olumlu ve olumsuz etkisi Türkiye örneği üzerinden tartışılacaktır. Makale ağırlıklı olarak literatür tarama-sına dayanacak, çeşitli kanun ve yönetmeliklerden yararlanılacaktır. ; The human being has been living on Earth thousands of years and there has always been the struggle about respecting the nature along with industrial de-velopment. In fact, it has been noticed that its losing to war which its assume to gain after 1970s. However, the industrial revolution came with an absolute ad-vance and this trend has continued. Gradually, the development efforts of the countries have turned with this constant advanced ideas into a development po-licy. Today, the development policy is the most important occupational area of many countries. But in turn of occupation irresponsibly continuing by state have been experienced by living to can run out of natural resources, can disappear of spe-cies and pollution be able to come to a level that can distrupt the natural balance. Along with recognition of this case, the necessity of creation of a balance between environment and developement has been raised. The concept of sus-tainable development should be a development without harming the environ-ment, that is admitted all over the world and is a development model that is applied. Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is emerged as an important tool in order to achieve sustainable development goals. It was for the first applied in 1969, in the United States. Nowadays, the EIA, is established in various forms in many states, including Tur-key. In 1993, from establishing of the first EIA instructions until today, it has un-dergone an overhaul that many times negative aspects environmental. In this article it will be discussed that the issues between development and en-vironment still have not reached a permanent solution yet and the practices of EIA regarding these problems have positive and negative contribution. Alongside with the example of Turkey, the article will rely on mainly literature reviews and will benefit from various laws and instructions.

Bu çalışma kapsamında, Türkiye' deki ve dünyadaki Çevresel Etki Değerlendirme (ÇED) uygulamaları incelenmiş ve ülkeler arası karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Özellikle AB ÇED direktifi doğrultusunda ülkelerdeki uygulamalar ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca Türkiye' deki ÇED' in mevcut durumu ve eksikleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Çevresel etki değerlendirmesinin yeri ve önemi, o ülkede yerleşik olan çevre kavramlarının bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkmakta ve çeşitli ülkelerde farklı şekillerde algılanabilmektedir. ÇED' in kapsamı ve raporu hazırlayan meslek gruplarının yanısıra raporda yer alan konuların önem derecesi ülkeden ülkeye farklılıklar gösterebilmektedir. Bazı ülkelerde ( Brezilya örneği ) çok iyi bir şekilde geliştirilmiş ÇED sistemlerinin olduğu, ancak uygulamanın iyi bir şekilde yürütülemediği görülmüştür. İncelemeler neticesinde Avrupa Birliği ÇED sistemi içerisinde de çok farklı uygulamaların olduğuna dikkat çekilmiş, farklı uygulamaları ile Fransa buna örnek olarak gösterilmiştir. Türkiye' de uygulanan ÇED Yönetmeliğinin AB direktifi ile uyumluluğu ortaya konmuştur. Her ne kadar yönetmelik müktesebat ile uyumlu olsa da halka ilan etme şekli ve halkın katılımı için ayrılan sürenin tekrar üzerinde durulması gerekmektedir. Uygulama örneklerine bakıldığında halkın görüşlerinin en çok alındığı ülkenin ABD olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. ÇED' in temel aşamaları olan eleme, kapsamlaştırma, raporlama, inceleme, değerlendirme ve izleme üzerinde durulmuştur. AB ülkelerinde Natura 2000 alanları tanımlanmış olduğundan ÇED eleme aşamasında Natura 2000 alanları da göz önünde bulundurulmaktadır. Türkiye' de ise bu alanların tanımlanmasına son yıllarda başlandığı tespit edilmiştir. AB ÇED direktifinde kapsamlaştırma zorunlu olmasa da bazı üye ülkelerin resmi hükümleri vardır. Bu ülkeler; Avusturya, Belçika-Valonya, İspanya ve Hollanda' dır. Türkiye' de de kapsamlaştırma zorunludur. Türkiye' de son yıllarda uygulamaya geçilen ÇED izleme hususundaki gelişmelerin ümit verici olduğu düşünülmektedir. Türkiye' de çevre yönetimi ile fiziksel planlama arasında tam bir bağın kurulamaması ÇED uygulamalarını etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Özellikle ABD ve Avrupa ülkelerinde çevre envanterlerinin ve fiziksel planlamanın olması ÇED uygulamalarında büyük kolaylıklar sağlamaktadır. Bölgesel çevre verileri ÇED raporlarının hazırlanmasında etkin kullanıldığından Türkiye' de bu konudaki eksikliği en kısa sürede giderilmesi gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Ülkelerdeki gelişim Türkiye gibi çok hareketli değildir, bunun en büyük nedeni ABD ve AB üye ülkelerinde 1970 ve 1980' li yıllarda ÇED çalışmalarına başlanmış olması ve bugüne kadar büyük ilerlemeler göstermiş olmalarıdır. Ülkemizdeki hareketliliğin en büyük sebebinin AB uyum projeleri olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. ; In this study, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) implementations both in Turkey and in the world were studied and compared between countries. Specifically, implementations in different countries were emphasized based on the EU EIA directive. Furthermore, the current situation and drawbacks of the EIA implemented in Turkey were tried to be determined. The level and importance of the environmental impact assessment is a result of a country?s understanding of environment and it has been perceived differently by different countries. In addition to that, the scope of the EIA and the occupational groups involved in the preparation of reports as well as the priority degrees of the topics given in the reports change between countries. It has been revealed that some countries (i.e. Brasilia) have well-developed EIA systems, but cannot implement them properly. On the other hand, it has been found out that there are different implementations within the EIA system of the European Union and the system implemented in France was considered as an example. The conformity of the EIA Regulation in force in Turkey with the EU directive has been determined. In spite of the fact that the regulation is in conformity with the acquis, the announcement to the public and the period granted to the public participation should be reviewed. When the implementations in practice in different countries were taken into account, it has been decided that USA attaches more value to the opinion of the public. The main stages of the EIA, which are election, scoping, reporting, investigation, evaluation and monitoring, have been emphasized. Since Natura 2000 sites have been agreed upon between the member states and the EU, these sites have been also considered during the EIA election stage. It has been seen that the studies for the designation of such sites in Turkey have been initiated recently. Although the scoping is not compulsory within the scope of the EU directive, some member states have established official provisions in this respect. These countries are Austria, Belgium-Walloon Region, Spain, and Netherlands. In Turkey, scoping is a compulsory stage. It has been concluded that advances in the EIA monitoring activities that has been initiated recently in Turkey are promising. Furthermore, the lack of a sound cooperation between the environmental management and the physical planning in Turkey has been concluded to affect the EIA implementations. Especially in USA and the EU member states, the environmental inventory and the physical planning have made the EIA implementations easier. It has been concluded that since regional environmental data has been effectively utilized in the preparation of the EIA reports, the absence in Turkey in this respect should be eliminated as soon as possible. Advances achieved in other countries are not as rapid as in Turkey, especially due to the fact that the EIA activities were initiated in USA and the EU member states 1970's and 1980's and significant improvements have been achieved up to date. Finally, the EU harmonization efforts can be given as the most important reason for this rapid improvement in Turkey.

Bu çalışma; uluslararası ilişkilerde çevre gündemi, çevre bilincinin gelişimi ve çevre rejimlerinin başarısını tartışmakta ve büyük oranda durum tespit edici bir analiz sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır: Birinci bölümde, uluslararası ilişkilerin çevresel gündemi ele alınmaktadır. "Çevre" sepeti içine atılan güvenlikten biyoçeşitliliğe kadar birçok alt başlığın çevresel gündemin gelişmesine katkıda bulunduğu değerlendirilmektedir. İkinci bölümde, çevresel bilincin gelişimi bağlamında 1972 Stockholm ile başlayan ve 2015 Paris İklim Anlaşması'na kadar olan süreçte çevreyi korumaya yönelik uluslararası girişimler/sözleşmeler tartışılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde ise, uluslararası ilişkilerin önemli bir sorunu/konusu haline gelen çevreye ilişkin uluslararası rejimlerin başarısı değerlendirilmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bazı konularda başarılı şekilde kurulan ve işleyen rejimlerin çevre konusunda aynı şekilde kurulamamış olduğu görülmektedir. Bu başarısızlıktaki en büyük etmen ise çevreyi en çok kirleten veya çevreye en fazla zararı veren aktörlerin korumaya dönük düzenlemelere taraf olsa bile aynı zamanda sorumluluk almaktan kaçan temel aktörler olmasıdır. Çevresel/doğal kaynaklara sahip olma ve onları aşırı kullanarak çevreye zarar verme noktasında aktörlerin aynı kapasitede olmaması da rejimlerin başarısını etkilemektedir. Karşılıklı bağımlılığın oranı da bu anlamda önemlidir. Karşılıklı bağımlılığın çok derin olduğu çevre konusunda da kolektif eylemlerde sorumluluktan kaçma davranışının zararları fazlası ile gözlenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın uluslararası ilişkilerde çevresel gündemin inşası, çevre bilincinin gelişimi ve uluslararası çevre rejiminin birlikte değerlendirilerek özellikle Türkçe literatüre katkı sağlaması umulmaktadır ; This study argues the environmental agenda, the development of environmental awareness, and the success of environmental regimes in international relations. In this context, the study consists of three parts. In the first chapter, the environmental agenda of international relations is discussed. It is evaluated that many sub-topics from environmental security to biodiversity contribute to the development of environmental agenda. In the second chapter, international initiatives/conventions for environmental protection are discussed in the context of the development of environmental awareness, in the process from Stockholm in 1972 and up to the Paris Climate Agreement in 2015. In the third chapter, the success of the international regimes related to the environment, which has become an important issue of international relations, is evaluated. In this respect, it appears that in some cases regimes have been successfully established and functioned but in issue of environment have not been established in the same way. The biggest factor in this failure is that the actors who the most polluter the environment, or the ones that cause the most damage to the environment, are the main actors to escape from taking responsibility at the same time, even if they are shareholders to the protective regulations. The fact that actors are also not at the same capacity at the point of having environmental/natural resources and overusing them, is affecting the success of the regimes. It is observed harms of buck-passing behaviors in collective actions in issue of environment in which interdependence is so profound. It is hoped that this study will provide significant contributions to Turkish literature

Many cultural assets unearthed in archaeological excavations, elements that make up the culture of the settled communities such as technology, art, economy and, if any, can be revealed through written sources. However, in the case of nomadic communities, there is a prejudice that temporary shelters made of lightweight materials are "invisible communities" defined by only a small number of material items available for transportation. As a result of these prejudices, the nomadic culture has been tried to be understood either through negative elements in the settlements, written sources written by the settlers, or through ethnoarchaeological research. In the Archeology Department of Atatürk University Social Sciences Institute, under the supervision of Proffesor Dr Mehmet Işıklı, the "Archaeological Evidence of Nomadic Culture in the Southeast Anatolian Region: An Ethnoarchaeological Study" one of the important questions encountered during the studies carried out within the scope of the doctoral thesis titled " to what extent modern nomadic communities will reflect the cultures of the ancient period" has been.
In this article, the question "what is culture" was chosen as the first step to start looking for answers to all these unknowns and questions, within the framework of the great transformations of humanity in the transition to a production economy, the elements that make up the culture were examined, and the elements of culture were discussed through the answers given by different scientists to this question.

In this study, the effects of the nominal dollar exchange rate and the industrial production index on WPI were analyzed using the ARDL bounds test method. The analysis of the study covers the period the 2005:M1-2021:M11 with monthly data. According to the results of the study, a 1% increase in the dollar exchange rate leads to an increase of approximately 0.7% in the WPI. When the industrial production index increases by 1%, the WPI increases by 1.04%. In addition, the fact that the growth in industrial production increases producer inflation reveals important results in terms of foreign dependency of production. These results raise concerns about growth with high inflation. The implementation of a rapid growth model in an economy with high inflation and high exchange rates may lead to an income-reducing situation for final consumers. These results show that a stable inflation and growth process in Turkey is based on a balanced exchange rate and interest rate policy.

Bu çalışma 25-26 Nisan 2019 tarihinde Ankara'da düzenlenen "Fiscaoeconomia International Congress on Social Sciences", adlı kongrede sözlü olarak sunulmuş, ancak basılmamıştır. ; Gelecek kuşaklara daha iyi yaşanılabilir bir dünya bırakmak her bireyin olduğu gibi işletmelerin de üzerine düşen bir görevdir. Bu görev sosyal sorumluluk anlayışının bir gereğidir. Günümüzde işletmeler maksimum kara odaklandıklarından sosyal sorumluluklarını yerine getirme konusunda çelişkiye düşebilmektedir. Amaç, sadece maksimum kar elde etmek olmamalı, aynı zamanda çevrenin sürdürülebilirliğine katkı sağlamak olmalıdır. İşletmelerin finansal tablolarına baktığımızda çevre adına bir maliyet unsuruna çok az rastlanmaktadır. Çevre muhasebesi sisteminin uygulanması bu boşluğu dolduracaktır. Ve böylece işletmelerin çevreye yaptıkları yatırım maliyetleri finansal tablolarında yer almış olacaktır. Gelişmiş ülkelerde, örneğin Japonya ve İsveç'te çevre maliyetleri işletmelerin finansal tablolarında açıkça görülebilir. Bu çalışmada BİST Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksinde yer alan 63 işletmenin, sürdürülebilirlik, sosyal sorumluluk ve çevre faaliyetleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca şirketlerin çevre maliyetlerini finansal tablolarında nasıl gösterdikleri incelenerek çevre muhasebesini uygulayıp uygulamadıkları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda işletmelerin çevre muhasebesini uygulamadıkları, finansal raporlarında ve sürdürülebilirlik raporlarında çevre ile ilgili sayısal bilgilerden ziyade genel bilgilerin yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. ; Leaving a better livable world for future generations is a duty of businesses as well as every individual. This task is a requirement of social responsibility. Nowadays, as businesses focus on maximum profits, they may be in conflict with their social responsibilities. The aim should not only be to achieve maximum profit, but also to contribute to the sustainability of the environment. When we look at the financial statements of the enterprises, a cost element for the environment is very rare. The implementation of the environmental accounting system will fill this gap. And thus, the investment costs of the enterprises to the environment will be included in their financial statements. Indeveloped countries, for instance Japan and Sweden, environmental costs are clearly seen in the financial statements. In this study, were examined sustainability, social responsibility and environmental activities of 63 businesses in the BIST Sustainability Index. In addition, it is examined whether companies show environmental costs in their financial statements and whether they apply environmental accounting. As a result of the study, it was determined that enterprises do not apply environmental accounting, and general information rather than numerical information about environment is included in financial reports and sustainability reports.

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of renewable energy consumption on economic growth in BRICS countries and Turkey. In this context, panel data analysis in the form of coefficient estimates and causality analysis was applied using annual data for the period 1990-2018. Within the scope of the determinants of economic growth, besides the renewable energy consumption variable which forms the basis of the study, the variables of capital accumulation, population, trade openness, foreign direct investments and non-renewable energy consumption are also used. According to the coefficient estimation results made with the fixed effects model, it has been determined that the increase in renewable energy consumption has negative and significant effects on economic growth. On the other hand, it has been determined that the increase in non-renewable energy consumption has a positive effect. These attacks aiming at destroying countries and citizens, and targeting civilians or state institutions, have been the current agenda in Turkey with cases such as Suruc Attack and Ankara Railway Station Attack following the June 7, 2015, elections and the Syrian Civil War. These attacks, which deeply affect the citizens and harm the country, can also have an impact on political behaviors such as social practices. Individuals, as voters, may vote under the influence of political and social events. In this study, effects of suicide attacks in Turkey on voting behavior were demonstrated by means of a reception analysis on the example of the Ankara Train Station Attack (October 10, 2015). In this regard, this study analyzes the effects of suicide attacks in Turkey on voting behavior for the November 1, 2015, early elections by carrying out an ethnographic research methodology. As the conclusion of the study, the individuals were observed to be aware of the fact that the real purpose of terrorism was to scare and harm. The participants supported the government in case of the suicide attacks and other terrorist attacks. The majority of the participants believed that the suicide attack, which took place in the train station intersection in Ankara, would have no effect on the behaviors of the voters for the Early Elections of November 1, 2015.

It is a global problem which can take many forms in state, corporate and non- profit sectors. Corruption is perceived to be a major problem in Turkey by private enterprise and the public at large. Corruption appears to be most problematic in government procurement, with frequent allegations that contracts are awarded on the basis of personal and political relationships between business representatives and government officials. Corruption. Weakens democratic institutions. Political costs manifest themselves above all in loss of legitimacy, and of public trust and support. Leads to competitive bribery, instead of fair competition based on price, quality and innovation. This harms trade and investment also health sector. Democracy and respect for human rights are important in the fight against corruption. Independent media and an active civil society are vital if the fight is to be effective. Research carried out by the World Bank indicates that there is less corruption in well-developed democracies than in countries that do not have well-functioning democratic institutions. Corruption is more easily detected in a transparent society and transparency can therefore also have a preventive effect. Consequently, support to promote democracy and human rights is also an important contribution in the fight against corruption.

The two main chapters "An Overview on the Main Issues of Global Warming" and "International Policies Concerning Global Warming" were assigned in the doctoral dissertation. By drawing on these contents, the article first covers the concept of global warming, approaches of various theories to climate change, human activities that lead to global warming, and the socio-economic consequences of global warming. In the following part of the study, multilateral negotiations on this environmental problem were discussed, as well as the main contracts and agreements along with the policies followed by Turkey. Moreover, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, particularly focusing on the most important initiatives of the last thirty years, and measures against global warming in Turkey's domestic politics has been put together chronologically.The study was simplified for the publication of the journal by adhering to the path followed and the resources used in the doctoral study, and the subjects concerning Turkish foreign policy were added to the study. Throughout the study, scientific articles, books and book chapters, and online resources of the institutions providing statistical data and other official authorities were utilized.
