Con el objeto de reflexionar sobre el rol de empatía en la justicia como institución, recuperaré la categoría analítica "justicia espectáculo" empleada por Sousa Santos para explorar el protagonismo judicial en los conflictos políticos que tienen por objeto lograr la gobernabilidad y garantizar el ejercicio de la propiedad privada. Para llevar a cabo mi objetivo me valdré de la perspectiva aristotélica sobre el efecto emotivo y el juicio de valor que los espectadores realizan en relación a los protagonistas en el espectáculo. Asimismo, consideraré la mirada que Bourdieu realiza sobre las instituciones sociales, por cuanto argumenta que quien detenta poder, en éste caso quienes juzgan, hacen de la realidad un espectáculo social. ; In order to reflect on the role of empathy in justice as an institution, I recover the analytical category "show justice" used by Sousa Santos to explore the judicial protagonism in the political conflicts that aim to ensure good governance and ensure the exercise of private property. To accomplish my goal I shall use the Aristotelian perspective on the emotional effect and judgment that viewers made in relation to the characters in the show. This article proposes an introductory overview of the development of the Sociology of Law: its historical origins, sources, debates and main authors are briefly sketched throughout this dissertation. This insight provides important guidelines to approach this relatively new discipline in our country from two forgotten authors, namely Pierre-Joseph Proudhon and Georges Gurvitch. Their heterodox and contesting viewpoints as well as their pluralist thought, radical ideas on democracy, justice and equality are meaningful elements for analyzing the current state of affairs of Colombian society. Furthermore, this insight provides the framework for understanding the development of the Sociology of Law as a source of social transformation. ; El artículo realiza un rápido recorrido por los diferentes momentos en el desarrollo de la sociología jurídica: su historia, fuentes, debates y principales autores. En la breve presentación histórica de esta disciplina, la cual es relativamente nueva en nuestro país, se intenta hacer énfasis en dos pensadores que se han deja- do en el olvido después de sus posiciones poco ortodoxas y altamente críticas: Pierre-Joseph Proudhon y Georges Gurvitch, cuyo pensamiento pluralista, la radicalidad de sus ideas, con respecto a la democracia, la justicia y la igualdad, proporcionan elementos para leer la realidad colombiana. Este enfoque permite recrear el desarrollo de la Sociología Jurídica como una fuente para la transformación social.
ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is show the link between some ways of understanding epidemiology (modern epidemiology, american and european social epidemiology and latinoamerican social epidemiology) and some theories about social justice in a framework of two politics tradition: the liberalism and the critical theory of society, with the purpose to provide elements to the epistemologic, etic and politic discussion of the epidemiology as a scientific discipline. ; RESUMEN: Esta investigación teórica tuvo como propósito evidenciar el vínculo de algunas maneras de entender la Epidemiología (moderna, social anglosajona y social latinoamericana) con teorías de justicia social en el marco de dos grandes tradiciones políticas y de pensamiento: el liberalismo y la teoría crítica de la sociedad, con el fin de aportar elementos para ampliar la discusión epistemológica, ética y política de la Epidemiología como disciplina científica y su contribución en la reducción de inequidades en salud.
Objetivo. Motivar la reflexión de profesionales de ciencias sociales especialmente trabajadores sociales, con respecto a los retos del proceso de construcción de paz, con justicia social. Metodología. Para elaborarlo se consultó: 1) la investigación que en el tema se ha adelantado en el grupo de investigación Cedat. 2) Las experiencias de proyección social del centro Cedat. 3) Literatura sobre el tema de justicia social y paz. Resultado. En el texto se derivan responsabilidades y retos, presentes y futuros para trabajo social, con relación al proceso de transición hacia la construcción de paz con justicia social. Conclusión. El trabajo social debe: 1) Involucrar una concepción plural de justicia social (restaurativa, redistributiva y justicia como reconocimiento). 2) Considerar la ciudadanía y la participación social como: campos de encuentro inter y transdisciplinar; objetos de acción, disputa política e investigación. 3) Gestar compromiso colectivo con la transición. ; Objective. To motivate the reflection of social science professionals, especially social workers, regarding the challenges of the peace building process with social justice. Methodology. In order to elaborate this reflection, it was necessary to consult: 1) the research carried out by the Cedat research group in this area; 2) the social projection experiences of the Cedat center; and 3) literature on the area of social justice and peace. Results. Responsibilities and challenges, present and future, for social work in relation to the process of transition towards the construction of peace with social justice are derived from the text. Conclusion. Social work must: 1) involve a plural conception of social justice (restorative, redistributive and justice as recognition); 2) consider citizenship and social participation as inter and transdisciplinary meeting point, object of action, political dispute and investigation; and 3) develop collective commitment with the transition.
A partir del análisis del concepto de Justicia Social, este artículo fundamenta la importancia de tener una mayor (y mejor) democracia basada en la necesidad de luchar contra las injusticias y las opresiones que crecen cada día en nuestra sociedad. Sin embargo, según cómo se entienda la democracia será el modo en que se conciba la educación democrática y, si queremos avanzar en esta dirección, deberemos tener en claro cuáles son estos supuestos implícitos. Con este objetivo, el artículo presenta las teorías de democracia de Jürgen Habermas, de Chantal Mouffe y de Jacques Rancière, y se establece su correspondencia con los postulados de educación democrática de Amy Gutmann, de Claudia Ruitenberg y de Gert Biesta. The purpose of this research is to study the impact of social justice and alienation on the political participation of people in Jahrom, Iran. Methodologically, field surveys were applied in terms of amplitude, and a cross-sectional study in terms of scope. The statistical population of this research were the holders of voting rights (over 18 years old) residing in the city of Jahrom. Sample size was calculated using the Cochran formula and selected by simple multi-stage cluster random sampling. The research questionnaire was developed by an investigator and was used by experts to determine its validity. For the data analysis, the regression coefficient tests, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis were used. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the sense of social justice and the sense of social alienation with political participation among the citizens of Jahrom. Furthermore, according to the study findings, the relationship of political participation based on contextual factors of citizens, gender, marital status, income, occupation and social class did not have a significant correlation with political participation (P value> 0.5).
У статті досліджується загальний розвиток філософської думки щодо питання справедливості, звернуто увагу на роль справедливості як основоположної цінності права, проаналізовано такий вид справедливості, як соціальна, зокрема в межах трудового права; наведено приклади нормативного закріплення соціальної справедливості в трудовому законодавстві різних країн, порівняно з Україною; розкрито основні положення діяльності Європейського Союзу та Міжнародної організації праці у сфері реалізації ідеї соціальної справедливості. ; The article deals with the general development of philosophical thought on the question of justice; attention is drawn to the role of justice as the fundamental value of law; analyzed the type of justice such as social, in particular within labor law; provided examples of normative consolidation of social justice in the labor law of different countries, in comparison with Ukraine; the main provisions of the activities of the European Union and the International Labor Organization in the realization of the idea of social justice are described.The research has shown interest to studying justice by both philosophers and scholars. Including that justice is an all-encompassing category, it is not surprising to have a stable connection with the law, for which it serves the value or orientation. Category of "social justice" becomes more popular nowadays, especially in labor law. We can state that social justice in labor law creates opportunities for the distribution of social benefits, produces the desire of members of society to be involved in the process of labor. And, finally, its implementation in labor relations is a guarantee of the highest level of their effectiveness, which implies unconditional compliance with safeguards and the realization of labor rights.It is mentioned that social justice cannot exist without its legislative consolidation and control over implementation by the state. The direct formulation of social justice as a goal is possible both at the consti- tutional level and at the level of labor legislation. In addition to national legislation, an important role in the development of the idea of social justice plays supranational legislation; in particular, the article analyzes the activities of the European Union and the International Labor Organization. The value of their activities lies not only in the fact that their normative documents operate with social justice as a prerequisite and purpose of their activity, but also through continuous monitoring and recommendations they provide to the states. Thus, within the framework of the European Union, a special social justice criterion (Social Justice Index) has been developed. That makes possible to evaluate and compare the level of social justice in the EU member states. Therefore, we propose to recognize and consolidate social justice as the underlying value, on which modern labor law is based.

La migración es un tema que ha cobrado relevancia en la actualidad dado los altos índices de movilización humana y cruce de fronteras, especialmente frente a conflictos sociales del mundo, ejemplo de ello el fenómeno de migraciones sur- sur., es decir, entre países de América Latina. Actualmente las oleadas migratorias aumentan con los cambios sociales, políticos y, particularmente, económicos del mundo. Chile no deja de ser receptor de estos grupos de personas, quienes deciden cambiar sus estatus sociales como inmigrantes incorporándose a nuevas culturas. Los flujos migratorios aumentan con la globalización provocando nuevas relaciones sociales en espacios y territorios culturalmente definidos, tal es caso del aumento y movilidad de la migración en la ciudad de Temuco. Como resultados de estas nuevas dinámicas se configuran procesos de ciudadanía especialmente en las formas cotidianas de participación e interacción de todos los habitantes, emergiendo de manera dinámica diferentes formas de acción e intervención en los migrantes en la región de la Araucanía. El preguntarse sobre la ciudadanía intercultural desde una perspectiva de la justicia permitirá generar acuerdos para el alcance real del uso pleno de la ciudadanía, trayendo consigo la aplicación de la justicia social y empoderamiento ciudadano para todos y todas. Abstract: Migration is a subject that has taken on relevance today, given the high rates of human mobilization and advancement of borders, especially in the face of social conflicts in the world, an example of the phenomenon of south-south migration, that is, between Latin American countries. Today, migratory waves are increasing with the social, political and particularly economic changes in the world. Chile is still a recipient of these groups of people who decide to change their social status as immigrants, incorporating themselves into new cultures. Migration flows increase with globalization leading to new social relations in culturally defined spaces and territories, such as the increase and mobility of migration in the city of Temuco, Chile. As a result of these new dynamics, citizenship processes are configured, especially in the daily forms of participation and interaction of all inhabitants, dynamically emerging different forms of action and intervention with migrants in the Araucania region. By asking about intercultural citizenship, from a justice perspective it will be possible to generate agreements for the real scope of the full use of citizenship, bringing with it the application of social justice and citizen empowerment for all.Keywords: Citizenship; Interculturality; Social justice; Migration; New citizens. Atualmente, as ondas migratórias aumentam com as mudanças sociais, políticas e, particularmente, econômicas do mundo. O Chile não deixa de ser recebedor destes grupos de pessoas que decidem mudar seus estatus sociais como imigrantes, incorporando-se a novas culturas. Os fluxos migratórios aumentam com a globalização provocando novas relações sociais em espaços e territórios culturalmente definidos, tal é o caso do aumento e mobilidade da migração na cidade de Temuco, Chile. Como resultados destas novas dinâmicas, se configuram processos de cidadania, especialmente nas formas cotidianas de participação e interação de todos os habitantes, emergindo de maneira dinâmica diferentes formas de ação e intervenção junto aos migrantes na região da Araucânia. Ao perguntar-se sobre a cidadania intercultural, a partir de uma perspectiva de justiça permitirá gerar acordos para o alcance real do uso pleno da cidadania, trazendo consigo a aplicação da justiça social e empoderamento cidadão para todos e todas.Palavras-chave: Cidadania; Interculturalidade; Justiça social; Migração; Novos cidadãos.
The paper outlines some particular characteristics of the phenomenon of freedom as a necessary principle of social justice, determines essential features of freedom and the area of its functioning. The author stresses that all the modern directions in the analytic political philosophy, being based on the key ideas of Enlighteners, pay considerable attention to the formulation of the conditions of freedom and methods of its practical realization. ; В статтi окреслюється специфiка феномену свободи як необхiдного принципу соцiальної справедливостi, визначаються сутнiснi характеристики свободи, встановлюється сфера її функцiонування. Автор стверджує, що всi сучаснi напрямки аналiтичної полiтичної фiлософiї, багато в чому спираючись на соцiально-фiлософськi iдеї просвiтникiв, велику увагу придiляють формулюванню умов досягнення свободи та знаходженню методiв її практичного втiлення.
Using a research rubric drawn from autonomist Marxism, this article takes the Occupy movement as a case study, and examines its historical antecedents, composition of social actors, communications repertoires and strategies of social change. My findings suggest that the Occupy movement was significant, not for its contribution to political change, but for its contribution to democratic communications. Occupy represented a new watershed in social justice communications, in which the movement itself directed its own media, reducing, for a time, the dependency of social justice groups on the dominant commercial media. Using a transmedia approach, beginning with the creation of communications commons in reclaimed public space, the Occupy movement converged many different social justice groups who employed a panoply of old and new communications repertoires. ; Usando la rúbrica investigativa tomada del marxismo autonomista, este artículo toma el movimiento Ocupa como caso de estudio y examina sus antecedentes históricos, la composición de sus actores sociales, sus repertorios de comunicaciones y estrategias de cambio social. Mis hallazgos sugieren que el movimiento Ocupa fue significativo, no por su contribución al cambio político, sino por su contribución a las comunicaciones democráticas. El movimiento Ocupa representó un nuevo punto de inflexión en la comunicación para la justicia social, en el que el movimiento mismo dirigió sus propios medios, reduciendo, por un tiempo, la dependencia de los grupos de justicia social de los medios comerciales dominantes. Usando una aproximación transmediática, y empezando con la creación de unas comunicaciones compartidas en un reclamado espacio público, convergieron en el movimiento Ocupa muchos grupos diferentes de justicia social que emplearon una panoplia de viejos y nuevos repertorios comunicativos.
En este trabajo se discuten algunas tesis del libro póstumo de Gerald A. Cohen que compila algunos artículos inéditos y otros que ya pueden ser considerados clásicos de la filosofía política. A lo largo del texto se reconstruyen algunas de las críticas más importantes que Cohen realizara en contra de un mercado regulado de bienes y servicios como mecanismo para alcanzar una distribución justa. El autor afirma que la existencia de instituciones justas no es una condición suficiente para lograr una sociedad justa. Además se examina en detalle la concepción de ética socialista que funciona como último fundamento de la teoría igualitaria de Cohen y se analizan sus implicancias prácticas sobre las acciones individuales. ; This paper discusses some of the theses of Gerald A. Cohen's posthumous book, which compiles some unpublished articles and others that can already be considered classics of political philosophy. Throughout the text, some of Cohen's most important criticisms against a regulated market for goods and services as a mechanism to achieve fair distribution are reconstructed. He argues that the existence of fair institutions is not a sufficient condition for a fair society. Furthermore, the conception of socialist ethics that functions as the ultimate foundation of Cohen's egalitarian theory is examined in detail and its practical implications for individual actions are analysed.
In this article, the author discusses the social justice language teacher education perspective and how it can help language teachers to develop a political view of their work and effect change inside and outside their particular school contexts. To do this, she briefly analyzes various professional development programs for teachers of English in public schools in one city in Colombia to determine how these have or have not contributed to the development of a political perspective in teachers. Finally, she discusses what the implementation of such perspective requires, provides some examples to illustrate how it may look in practice, and discusses some implications for different stakeholders. ; En este artículo la autora discute la perspectiva de formación de docentes para la justicia social y cómo esta puede ayudar a los profesores de lenguas a desarrollar una visión política de su trabajo y realizar cambios dentro y fuera de sus contextos escolares. Para lograrlo, ella hace un breve análisis de varios programas de desarrollo profesional para profesores de inglés de instituciones educativas públicas y determinar cómo estos han contribuido o no al desarrollo de una perspectiva política en los profesores. Finalmente, la autora discute lo que requiere la implementación de esta perspectiva, da algunos ejemplos para ilustrar cómo esta puede verse en la práctica y discute algunas implicaciones para los diferentes actores educativos.
