Worker management & soc self- administration are reflected in the `work communities' (WCOM) & `residential communities' (RCOM) of Yugoslavia. WCOM are concerned with econ management within the framework of the commune, whereas RCOM operate on a territorial basis, their committees being concerned with 'development of instit's for children.' Also discussed is the work of 'people's committees' in the areas of public health instit's, soc security, & housing through 'soc manag'. Through their educ'al activities,' the soc org's have the 'task' of 'replacing the legal obligations of the community towards the workers.' P. D. Montagna.
