Scientific and Technological Development in the Soviet Union (1917-1991): A Synopsis ; El desarrollo científico y tecnológico en la Unión Soviética (1917-1991): Una sinopsis
Throughout its existence, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) experienced a series of political, economic and social transformations that converted the former Tsarist Russian Empire of agricultural economic base, into a superpower characterized by its progressive industrial development. In this process, which ranged from the triumph of the Russian Revolution (1917) to the dissolution of the Soviet Union (1991), scientific and technological development was fundamental due to the support that the Soviet State provided to science and technology in the construction of a socialist economic model, a process that experienced its contradictions under Stalinism and that received a significant stimulus with the development of the arms race and space exploration during the Cold War. The changes experienced by the Soviet Union in the 1980s were also reflected in its techno-scientific development.

Spain and the Soviet Union during the final stage of the Cold War ; España y la Unión Soviética a finales de la Guerra Fría
This article analyses Spanish-Soviet relationships from 1977, when Spain's diplomatic relations with the USSR resumed, until the end of the Cold War. On the one hand, the reestablishment of diplomatic relations expanded the framework of bilateral agreements signed in different areas by both countries. On the other hand, Spain's joining NATO for good a few years later had a negative impact in the Soviet Union. The Soviet propaganda duly echoed this from a political perspective. Gorbachev's undertaking the General Secretariat of the CPSU in 1985, brought about important changes in the USSR with the implementation of Perestroika and a new foreign policy, novoe myslenie. The latter became the protagonist in Spain of the propaganda displayed by Spanish-Soviet friendship associations existing since 1979. These is due to the fact that they served as a showcase for the Soviet vision of international politics. They also displayed propaganda in line with social movements opposing Spain's permanence in NATO and, finally, gained international support for the process of changes taking place in the final stages of the cold war.

La mujer rusa en el imaginario de los Amigos y Enemigos de la Unión Soviética (1905-1945) ; The Russian Woman in the imaginary of the Friends and Enemies of the Soviet Union (1905-1945)
; In this article, we review the current knowledge on the role of Russian women in the Revolution of 1917 and the propaganda that circulated in Spain about their situation in the Communist State. This involves an analysis of the main publications, affiliated to the Association of Friends of the Soviet Union between 1933 and 1938, their personal links with Russia and the aspects of interest in legislative, labor, family and sexual áreas regarding the imaginary's understanding of the "new woman", "free love", etc., within the dialectic fascism/antifascism. This is supplemented by an exploration of how Francoist supporters, the dictatorship and especially the Feminine Section of the Phalange took it upon themselves to insult these "denatured mothers" behind the iron curtain, caricaturing them, at least until the end of the Second World War, as an Anti-Spain and No-Woman representation.
