ABSTRACT The study by legal scholars and educators argue that an interdisciplinary approach in teaching law is inevitable. This article seeks to analyze two questions: being first, to what extent law schools in Indonesia adopt interdisciplinary subjects into the curriculum. Second, to what extent these interdisciplinary subjects are relevant to the government's Industry 4.0 Roadmap. This study analyses the curriculum of law schools, both in private and public universities across Indonesia, as well as making the comparison with other universities in ASEAN. These samples of law schools represent three major regions of Indonesian archipelagos; these are the eastern, central and western region.RESUMEN El estudio realizado por especialistas en derecho y educadores argumenta que el enfoque interdisciplinario en la enseñanza del derecho es inevitable.
Considering the relevance of argumentation in mathematics to promote critical thinking and democratic societies, a description and comparison between the main international curricular proposals on argumentation and its development in the mathematics of the first years is presented. This comparison is made considering the argumentation from an integrative approach that contemplates contextual and functional aspects. Thus, this analysis formulates around four components: 1) the relationship between argumentation and learning; 2) the relationship between argumentation and other competences or skills; 3) function of argumentation (why is it argued?); and 4) character of the argument (how is it argued?).
This text deals with the teaching of philosophy, trying to highlight its value in secondary education, for the development of personal autonomy and the global formation of a democratic citizenship. The starting point is the experience of teaching philosophy to future secondary education philosophy teachers, based on a conception of philosophy formulated by the Italian philosopher G. Vattimo and linked to the so-called right to philosophy formulated by the French philosopher J. Derrida. From this point of view, the form and function of the teaching of philosophy in secondary education are examined. And, in conclusion, as measures to reinforce and improve the fulfillment of its aims, the recourse to the thematic heritage of the so-called history of philosophy in teaching and the use of objective tests in the evaluation are proposed.
In Todorov's words, we are living a fight between the neoliberalism and democracy. In front of that conflict that is undermining the formal democracy pillars, the paper wants to present, in an exploratory way, first notes on what could be a democratic commoning school. To do so, I connect with the trend of thought that, from Dewey, have been emphasising the necessity that schools educate in, for and about democracy. Today, the social need of democratic schools is stronger than ever and, related to this, the main goal of the paper is the proposal to do it through the communing practices. Precisely, Bollier (2014) and Laval and Dardot (2015) proposed to shift "common" from an adjective (the common goods) to a verb: commoning. The article explores, from the analytical model of Michel Foucault (knowledge, power and subjectivity), what could be a democratic school based on communing practices. Moreover, its relation to what a school (not) should be (Truth); how (not) should be governed (government); and what kind of identity it (not) should produce (subjectivity). With this proposal of the democratic commoning schools, I would like to open up new ways to build up education spaces that transform knowledge, power relations and identities from the common good perspective ; Estamos viviendo, en palabras de Todorov, un enfrentamiento entre el neoliberalismo y la democracia.

National identities exist. They change over time and are influenced by globalization, extensive migration, the Internet, and the constantly increasing speed of communication and transport, in the same way that a country's culture is influenced by new citizens who add their different national identities to the mix. At the same time, the identity of these new citizens is altered by the culture of the country they have moved to. By contrast, foreign language teaching varies little: If we consider the cultural topics selected by for teaching Italian as a foreign language, we can see how often they propagate an exotic, unrealistic image of bella Italia. As a consequence, students of Italian often have an out-of-date idea of contemporary Italy, especially with regard to its demographics and social dynamics. A wide variety of resources and methods is available to teachers who want to help their students understand this momentous change in Italian history, develop their intercultural communication skills and question both their own attitudes and the degree to which democratic values are being upheld by the culture they live in.
This paper intends to read through a critical lens the digitalization of schooling caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. The emergency has forced European governments to close the schools and consequently, all the schooling activities have been transferred online. Referring to some works of Giorgio Agamben, Paul Virilio and Walter Benjamin the authors propose some critical remarks on the transformation of schooling space and schooling time that characterizes the practice of distance learning. This transformation pertains not only to accidental aspects of schooling but affects the very identity of the schooling experience. In a completely digitalized school, time is characterized by instantaneousness: time as duration is replaced by the «time of exposure», as stated by Paul Virilio. In addition, the school completely dematerialized, is reduced to the two-dimensional space of the screen. The article aims to show that instantaneous time and dematerialized space make the experience of «crossing» difficult. Therefore, following some remarks by Jan Masschelein and Gert Biesta, it is maintained that the experience of «crossing» endangered by the digitalization of schooling is essential to an authentic experience of schooling. It is not intended to refuse the digital innovations as such but to «put them on the table», in order to suspend their immediate use and analyze them critically.
In the article we resume four experiments of an interdisciplinary nature carried out in four different secondary education centres. The nexus of the union of these didactic proposals is that of looking at values in sport and the critical capacity of the students from distinct perspectives: violence, mass media, politics and gender and the treatment of body in our society ; En el artículo se resumen cuatro experiencias de carácter interdisciplinar que se realizaron en diferentes centros de secundaria.

This article is the result of a research on history of arts education focused on the democratic work of arts and crafts schools and their interrelationships with general education. The origins of the Barcelona Schools of Arts and Crafts, from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, mainly the Free School of Design, as well as their influences from contemporary European artistic movements, such as the Arts and Crafts, Modernism and Noucentism. Based on a descriptiveinterpretive methodology, we underline that the mission of these institutions went far beyond artistic and job training, since they were the first to provide a holistic democratic education, together with public schools, playing a relevant role in literacy and access to culture for all citizens. With this, they anticipated the democratic proposals that John Dewey, Paolo Freire and William Morris, among others, would define some years later, that standed out the need to provide a holistic and proper qualification to the working class.
