Objectives of the study: This paper aims to analyse how community participation is viewed and implemented in ecotourism projects with evidence from ecotourism literature. The paper elaborates on the evolution and trends of community participation in ecotourism projects. Methodology: With the use of content analysis method, the study analyses literature in the form of journal articles. For the analysis, research articles published from 1990-2019 were collected from journal databases and search engines, including Scopus, Science Direct, Taylor and Francis, and Google Scholar. Originality/ Relevance: The present study intends to address the research gap in ecotourism literature that reviews and descriptively analyze the disseminated information on community participation Findings: The main findings suggest that only some ecotourism projects are successfully running with the full participation of local communities. The extent and type of community participation vary in each ecotourism project depending on social, cultural, and political factors. It also points out the presence of contradicting views regarding its effectiveness and applicability. The study of popular culture has always been closely related to the study of class, gender, race, and sexuality. An increasing number of authors have called for an intersectional approach. However, the contradictory, fluid meanings articulated in popular culture render such an approach difficult, and many ignore the call for intersectional analysis. We will not. We will try to engage with an intersectional analysis of popular culture, using Shakira and Jennifer Lopez's performance at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show as a case to study the intersections of identity markers. We aim to bridge the different meanings attributed to their performance and to understand them as different elements in the intersectional configura-tion. A discourse analysis of the performance, and of reviews thereof, was performed to unravel five elements highlighted in the discourse: the quality of the show, Shakira and Lopez's empowered performances, the incorporation of Latinidad elements, the performers' sexiness, and perceived political messages. Our aim to understand how the contradictory discourses about these elements arose urges the reader to use listening to grapple with the complexity of intersectional analysis. Truly listening includes putting effort into opening up academic cultures, finding other voices. It is important to recognize global gender inequity, but we need to start investing far more to understand the politics of media representations as a transnational affair that causes multiple conceptions of gender (and other related) concepts to clash, mesh, and integrate.

Population aging has become an important issue mostly discussed in many countries in the world. The proportion of the older population is getting better in both developed and developing countries. Elderly tend to need more health care as they are more susceptible to chronic diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting outpatient visit among elderly in Indonesia. This study employed a cross-sectional study design with a sample of ≥60-year-old individual with a total sample of 5,325 elderly. The data used to be analyzed were from the Indonesian Family Life Survey 2014 representing 83% of the population in Indonesia. The theory used was Andersen health service utilization model. In analyzing the data, bivariate analysis were used, with Chi-square and multivariate test using multiple logistic regression test prediction model. Elderly who utilize health service for outpatient was 18.6%. Variables that have significant relationships with outpatient utilization on elderly were female, high education, formal job, Java and Bali, urban, health insurance ownership, economic status, the perception of ill, smoking habit, history of chronic disease, fat, and obesity. Predictor for the most dominant outpatient utilization is influenced by chronic disesase after controlled by other variables. Chronic disesase greatly affect the elderly in utilizing health services for outpatient. To overcome this, the government is expected to provide policies on health facilities to better emphasize promotive and preventive efforts among the elderly.

1 page. ; In the 21st century, racial and ethnic disparities have been at the forefront of social justice movements, and yet, it is important to interrogate these disparities across U.S. history. American Indians and Alaskan Native people have historically been treated differently in health care. The Alaska Mental Health Enabling Act (AMHEA) of 1956 serves as a case study for addressing access to mental health care services, especially for Native Alaskans. Prior to the passage of the AMHEA, Morningside Psychiatric Hospital in Portland, Oregon, offered inpatient mental health services for Alaskan Natives and other residents of the Pacific Northwest. In the first half of the 20th century, few psychiatric services were available in the then-territory of Alaska. In my thesis research, I analyze the AMHEA as a historical case study for mental health care for Native Alaskans, and for other racial/ethnic groups in the U.S. The primary research for my thesis comes from archival sources, including from UO Special Collections, and from interviews with key informants involved in the AMHEA legislation. Using these sources, my thesis assesses the impact of the AMHEA on the Alaskan Natives from the bill's passage to the present. I use this case study to reflect on the types of mental health policies that could be used to remedy racial and ethnic disparities in mental health care in the U.S.

This article describes the concept and forms of money laundering, crimes of money laundering in the Republic of Uzbekistan, their social risk, differences between money laundering and the classification of system and criteria of these crimes, the liability for money laundering and the fight against these type of crimes. Also, the study of the criminological description of the crime of money laundering, the analysis of international legal norms in the fight against money laundering as a subject of study in international and national law, as well as methods of combating money laundering and their prevention is to study the peculiarities of foreign experience in the practice of acquisition. At the same time, proposals were made to improve national legislation by analyzing the benefits of criminal activity, the content of the International Convention for the Suppression of Crimes, the way of practice and legislation of foreign countries and its advantages. The decisions of the FATF in ensuring cooperation between states in combating money laundering and the development of international standards, the recommendations of which reflect the international program to combat money laundering by individuals and legal entities using the capabilities of the financial system. In other words, the practical significance of the implementation of the FATF recommendations in the fight against money laundering schemes, laundering of proceeds from real criminal activities. Based on the recommendations of the FATF, opportunities for rapid response to crimes in this area have been provided.

Using annual time series data on the number of adults (ages 15 and above) newly infected with HIV in Botswana from 1990 – 2018, the study predicts the annual number of adults who will be newly infected with HIV over the period 2019 – 2025. The paper applies the Box-Jenkins ARIMA technique. The diagnostic ADF tests show that the K series under consideration is an I (1) variable. Based on the AIC, the study presents the ARIMA (4, 1, 0) model as the optimal model. The residual correlogram shows that the presented model is very stable and suitable for forecasting new HIV infections in adults in Botswana. The findings of the study reveal that the numbers of new HIV infections in adults in the country are likely to go up from about 7907 in 2019 to almost 8262 new infections by 2025. This means that Botswana's quest for an AIDS free society will remain a pipeline dream at least from the next 5 years. This is not a desirable public health outcome but rather a warning signal for policy makers so that they make the necessary decisions now before the situations goes out of hand. If nothing is done now, Botswana's HIV/AIDS burden will definitely rise and possibly overwhelm the country's limited resources. We basically encourage the government of Botswana to intensify its HIV prevention and control programs in order to possibly reserve the projected trajectory and save precious lives.

The suburban area is known as the peri-urban area which is a zone in which there is a mixture of rural and urban land structures. The development of peri-urban areas in Indonesia has spread to almost all cities, which are generally large cities. Urban areas that are not able to balance the needs for residential or commercial space will always take up space in the suburban areas, this is also the case in the Peri Urban Ulee Lheue area of Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this study is to identify how the typology of using land in peri urban areas in Ulee Lheue is to know what typology of land use is happening and how a government program has transformed Ulee Lheue as a strategic location for developing tourism areas and public spaces. The method used in this research is direct field observation method or survey and literature study both theory and supporting documents in the research which then performs data analysis by interpreting the data obtained on the basis of the prevailing theory and policies. The results of this study identify that the typology of land use in peri urban areas in Ulee Lheue is dominated by commercial areas and there are unplanned or informal settlements, besides this research is expected to be able to provide knowledge about the typology of land use in a peri urban area.

International audience ; The undernutrition of children is conventionally assessed by three indicators of nutritional status constituted by anthropometric measurement indices, namely wasting (weight/height), stunting (height/age) and underweight (weight/age). However, these indicators are criticized for underestimating the prevalence of malnutrition since these overlap. Thus, a new indicator was proposed, namely the Composite Index of Anthropometric Failure (CIAF). Since the CIAF does not provide the forms of malnutrition that children as a whole present, the wasting index, stunting index and underweight index were proposed to provide the clinical profile of total undernutrition. The objective of this study is to assess the nutritional status of children through these new indices mentioned above using the MICS 2017-2018 data from DR Congo and to compare them with conventionally used indicators. The results reveal that in DR Congo, the prevalence of undernutrition of children under 5 by the CIAF is 47.3%. In this prevalence, the proportion of the wasting index, the stunting index and the underweight index are respectively 0.135, 0.867 and 0.488. The study shows that conventional indicators underestimate child undernutrition and can also change the order of the settings of greatest concern. The study suggests that these indices are complementary to conventional indicators in order to broaden the field of vision of decision-makers in their interventions to fight more strategically against malnutrition.

Environments in which oil palms grow involve some components and production resources crucial in increasing the development of integrated palm oil plantation systems without damaging the environment. This study aimed to determine strategies and direction of the development of oil palm-cattle integration and improve the regional economy. The primary data were obtained through questionnaires by interviewing 50 respondents, which comprised cattle farmers and experts /stakeholders of Almuslim University and STIE Kebangsaan Bireuen and local government agencies directly involved with the study topics. AHP and SWOT were used to analyze oil palm-cattle integration strategy development data. The main findings of the study require main strategies: 1) Increasing the efficiency of oil palm-cattle integration from extensive to intensive model with the support of stakeholders; 2) Creating an effective and successful pilot cattle farmer groups in carrying out oil palm-cattle integration by utilizing cheap and nutritious feed from oil palm plantations; 3) Utilizing cow dung as fertilizer and biogas as a source of income for farmers; 4) Expanding cattle farmer's knowledge on the development of beef cattle population and livestock health services; 5) Increasing active government participation in facilitating cattle and oil palm farmers in integration implementation, and 6) Utilizing financial institutions/banking services to increase business capital which will aid in increasing beef cattle population and oil palm production. This study examines the effect of specific factors (including user features, such as propensity for conspiracy thinking, and news item features, such as news frame and news source) on the accuracy of social media users in fake news recognition. Being a part of a larger research on fake news perception, this study uses the data from an online experiment that asks social media users from three countries (Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan) to evaluate a set of news items constructed with specific conditions. Namely, the users receive true and fake news about the neighboring countries framed differently and ascribed to either domestic or foreign sources. We then assess users' accuracy in detecting fake news. The results of the study confirm the important role of conspiracy thinking style in false news recognition (leading to a decrease in accuracy) and users' capability for deliberation on social media more broadly. However, the influence of contextual factors is mixed. While news sources exhibit no influence on the accuracy of fake or true news detection, dominant framing tends to increase the accuracy of true news only. More predictors of news recognition accuracy are discussed in the paper. As a result, this research contributes to the theory of fake news susceptibility by revealing a rich set of individual factors and interaction effects that influence human judgment about news truthfulness and impact deliberation possibilities in socially mediated environments.

Cropland mapping is an important inventory for food security and decision making operated by governments. Crop mapping is used to identify the croplands and their spatial distribution. For a reliable analysis and forecast for projection, multi-temporal data play a key role. Even current open and frequent optical satellite data such as Sentinel-2 and Landsat support monitoring, they are not always operational due to atmospheric conditions (rain, cloud cover, haze, etc.). On the other hand, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites provide alternative data sets compared to optical satellites since they can acquire images under all weather conditions. In this study, an annual cropland monitoring study is conducted using Sentinel-1 SAR. For the investigation, Tokat Province an agricultural region of Turkey, where the main source of income is agriculture, was selected. There are 4 different vegetation species (wheat, sunflower, sugar beet, corn) in the study area. Sentinel-1 data was used to generate time-series of each class and phenological structures of the crops. In this context, backscatter images of both vertical-vertical (VV) and vertical-horizontal (VH) polarized data, and coherence of both VV and VH were produced from Sentinel-1 data. Time-Weighted Dynamic Time-Warping (TWDTW) classification approach was used over cropland. The produced time-series are classified under different scenarios. The results showed that only coherence has provided higher accuracies about 81% compared to using only backscatter images as 49%.

The aviation industry is one of the most globally affected industries by the COVID-19 pandemic. It employs millions of people and supports tens of millions of others, as well as being the nerve center of international business and tourism. The losses of aviation industry will extend to its branches industries. The determination of policies that are not in favor of the industry related to the Avtur VAT, disharmony between ministries has caused the impact of this covid-19 adding heavy burden in industry sector. High operational costs, aircraft leasing, maintenance and others will be higher if the exchange rate also increases. This study aims to determine the analysis of the performance of national aviation industry due to the Covid19 pandemic. The results of this study are expected to be used as input in formulating policies in order to increase economic value in the aviation industry. Method of research which was done, namely comparing literature reviews from journals that discussed airlines with the use of Servqual theory and applied the Importance Performance Analysis method, and the authors made the descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that covid 19 had a significant impact on the aviation industry, and the results of the performance analysis suggested that in order to survive in Covid-19 condition, the government needed to involve to provide a stimulus to the aviation industry.

Children's policies at the local level stimulate initiatives in the municipalities to encourage child participation. In this article, we focus on the local political sphere as a space for the promotion of child participation and citizenship through digital mediation. It is in this immediate environment where the rights of children and adolescents are exercised and promoted. The study aims to analyse the contributions perceived by municipal leaders (elected officials and technical figures) of the digital environment and the uses they make of it to promote children's participation in the municipality. This study is part of a national project that includes as collaborating entities the International Association of Educating Cities (IACE) and Child Friendly Cities (CAI-Unicef). 279 subjects (191 technical figures and 88 elected officials) from 179 Spanish municipalities associated members of IACE and/or CAI. Data were collected in 2020. Two ad hoc designed questionnaires were applied. Two of the most significant results of the study are: (a) the finding of the variable that establishes differences between those technical figures that mediate children's participation with technological environments and those that do not; (b) the use made of the digital environment as an interactive space for informational purposes. It concludes on the need to rethink the digital environment as a participatory area and increasing the use of technology in support of children's citizenship.

The contestation of America's presidency in 2020 showed a very competitive and strict run. Both candidates provided arguments and attacked each other in public discussion rooms. However, it is a typical of a normal election where there will be always campaigns from the candidates to persuade and to gain public's votes as much as possible. Therefore, the 2020 presidential election of America feels unusual compared to the previous. Besides it was conducted within the pandemic outbreak, the high tension of global conflict issues and internal social-economic problems of America caused the contestation becoming hotter and noteworthy. Regardless of its final result, it is really interesting to discuss the discourses appeared in the public room regarding the issue. New York Times, one of the leading media in USA provides the room for publics to participate in writing their opinion. This study tried to analyse a writing written in opinion column entitled "Is America Becoming a Failed State?" using appraisal system. The discourse was analysed in the three aspects of White's appraisal framework namely attitude, graduation, and engagement. Under the scope of critical discourse analysis, this study aimed to elucidate the appraisal aspects found in the text regarding public's opinion and its standing points to the issue. This study is a descriptive qualitative and the data were collected from an article in New York Times. The discussion was also connected to some external factors besides the three aspects mentioned such as political, economic, and socio-cultural factors.

The purpose of this study is to describe and identify potentials that are not optimal in the development of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park tourist area on the Cemoro Lawang route, Probolinggo Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is through stages; data reduction, data modeling, data classification and interpretation of the results of data analysis or drawing conclusions. The data sources in this study were selected purposively, namely based on certain reasons or considerations and were snowball sampling. The research findings explain that the potential for tourist attractions in the Bromo-Tengger area with a SWOT analysis is quite good. The potential for tourist attraction in the Bromo-Tengger area is supported by the complexity of supporting elements that are very synergistic, so that it can become a beautiful tourist attraction, both elements in the Bromo-Tengger area itself such as natural resources, the culture of the surrounding community and their beliefs as well as the attention of the local government to each other. support the development of Mount Bromo tourism object so that it becomes famous. Local government policies in the development of Mount Bromo are manifested in increasing the establishment of infrastructure to support the smooth flow of tourists visiting BromoTengger tourism objects.Key Word: Potential, Tourist Attraction, SWOT.
