In: Idealogando: revista de ciências sociais da UFPE, Band 1, Heft 1, S. 4-18
ISSN: 2526-3552
This article aims to show the pedagogical potential of the use of 'marginal poetry' in Sociology classes. The urban chronicler Miró da Muribeca was chosen to support this work. His poetry, considered by critics as 'marginal poetry', approaches sociological themes and concepts in addition to everyday experiences common to students' habitus. The use of this type of poetry in the classes of Sociology functioned as a didactic tool that enabled the students to hatch from a greater taste by the classes associated to a greater understanding of the contents approached through the partnership between the school and the Institutional Program of Initiation to Teaching Scholarships (PIBID) of CAPES/CNPq. It is possible to develop in this specific case, these activities and bring the teachers in formation from day to day of the school, allowing a connection between the University and school.

In: Revista Desafios, Band 3, Heft 1, S. 23-29
The aim of this paper is to discuss the importance of children's literature in the early grades of elementary school. Taking as the object of analysis our practices while fellows of the Initiation Teaching Program (PIBID), where we develop different activities different than children experience routinely at school, using as resource main the story telling, without taking the literature with didactic or pedagogical function, but valorizing the aesthetic and creative possibilities of that language. For the theoretical foundation, we support in Soares (1999), Bettelheim (1996), Lajolo and Zilberman (2004), Abromovich (1993) and Aguiar (2001), among other reference texts. The study is justified by the fact that the classes with differentiated methodologies hold the gaze of the student, and to work the literature with children, enhancing the taste and the pleasure of reading by encouraging their expressions, opinions, construction and reconstruction of ideas, become the classes more significants for the class.
LEARN TO INHABIT THE SCHOOL ARCHITECTURE OF THE NEW URBAN ORDER (FEDERAL DISTRICT, MEXICO, 1932) ; APRENDER A HABITAR LA ARQUITECTURA ESCOLAR DEL NUEVO ORDEN URBANO (DISTRITO FEDERAL, MÉXICO, 1932) ; APRENDER A HABITAR A ARQUITETURA ESCOLAR DA NOVA ORDEM URBANA (DISTRITO FEDERAL, MÉXICO, 1932)
In 1932, the team of technicians led by the functionalist architect Juan O'Gorman developed a school architecture project for the popular neighborhoods of the Federal District (Mexico). One of those schools, the Emiliano Zapata Elementary School (currently recognized as a national artistic monument), was built in a neighborhood founded in the north of Mexico City as part of an urban expansion strategy promoted by businessmen and by the Mexican government. Its builders thought that the school building was the means to transform the popular classes of Mexican society and promote a modern urban order. Functionalist school architecture generated heated discussions between engineers and architects about the impact of this type of buildings on the urban landscape and on the taste of its inhabitants. However, its promoters assured that eventually the popular classes would learn to inhabit the new school buildings and they would overcome the illiteracy and unhealthiness that affected both their bodies and their minds.

The wheelchair and its essential components for the mobility of quadriplegic persons with spinal cord injury
; Objective: This study sought to understand which items are essential to the wheelchair from the perspective of a person with quadriplegic spinal cord injury (SCI). Method: The study was qualitative with semi-structured interviews and discourse analysis, as well as a checklist of the wheelchair being used and the wheelchair provided by the government's Unified Health System (SUS). Results: The causes of SCI were motor vehicle accidents (60%), diving into shallow waters (30%) and being struck by a vehicle (10%), respectively and the injury time averaged 16.3 years (± 7.14). All of the subjects were in physiotherapy. The number of wheelchairs tested before finding the proper one were two to five and some participants practiced adapted sports with the wheelchair. The checklist showed that the government wheelchair had insufficient items and the discourse analysis resulted in four categories: Items, materials, and conditions; Learning functionality; Advantages and disadvantages of the wheelchair; and Feelings experienced. The wheelchair is essential to acquiring mobility for people with quadriplegia and trying out different models and getting orientation on the items are important for their acquisition. Suitable items facilitate acceptance, better adaptation, mobility and enable autonomy. Conclusion: The wheelchair from the government's health system was insufficient, leading to its being abandoned, and wheelchairs acquired for their functionality, with essential items, responsive to the user's individuality and taste proved to be useful and appropriate, despite their high cost.

Todas as formulações estavam seguras microbiologicamente e apresentaram a mesma aceitabilidade e preferência sensorial. ; Fish oil is a source of omega 3 that acts in the fight, prevention and/or treatment of chronic diseases. Coalho cheese is largely consumed in the Northeastern Brazil, and in the form of cream added with fish oil it becomes a new alternative to consumers. Thus, the aim of this study was to develop and assess coalho cheese cream (CCC) formulations added with oregano, with or without fish oil. Firstly, a survey was conducted with 70 cheese consumers, followed by the preparation of three CCC formulations (F1: without fish oil; F2: with 0.54g of fish oil; F3: with 1.08g of fish oil). The CCC formulations (F1, F2 and F3) were analyzed for fungi, total and thermotolerant coliforms, coagulase-positive staphylococci, and Salmonella sp.; acceptability and sensory preference were also assessed, as well as the centesimal composition, total phenols, antioxidant activity, pH, total titratable acidity and calories. Taste was the most important factor in the choice of the product, being omega 3 (54.28%) and oregano (57.14%) chosen by the majority of the participants. All formulations were microbiologically safe and had the same acceptability and sensory preference. The acceptability index varied from 7.43 to 8.13. The CCC formulations are in conformity with legislation, are low fat (1.77 to 2.66% of lipids), have high moisture (>55%) and low acidity (3.12 to 3.28g of lactic acid/100g), and have an expressive antioxidant activity and marketing potential (acceptability was >70%). The CCCs are viable for incorporation of fish oil, being an omega-3 source product with functional property.
