This article attempts to introduce the scenery of polizie in education that encompass the beginning of MIFORCAL project "Master en Formaciòn de Profesorado de Calidad para la enseñanza secundaria". The article aims to provide a picture of thecurrent debate on internationalisation processes, that in time frames some problems of theoretical nature within the fiekld of construction of teachers' professional identity, which is called to operate in a growing complexity from the social, culturaland technological point of view. The starting point is hence the international policies issue on the theme of teachers' education, moving subsequently on the specific discussion of educational research about teachers' skills, competencies and identity; this considering the crucial importance of teachers for an educational shifting. The specific presentation of policies, projects and research at European level is therefore compared with Latinamerican reality, in search for those convergencies and divergencies that make the problema common space of "Eurolatinoamerican" discussion. Space that, in the end, aims at open future perspectives for scientific collaboration, for teachers, trainers and researchers mobility, as strategy of educational innovation that goes beyond the restricted boundaries of national/ local education sceneries, and that in this article we will denominate "enlarged cultural context of learning". The educational professionalism in pre-primary contexts appears now involved in a transformative process that includes new strategic and important dimensions into professional development. Its contributes to redefine the aspects of teachers' continuing training, which cannot be limited on skills learning, but must include and increase the value and features of professional agency and the contexts of its training. The project research we are going to outline examines the correlation between the agency's capability processes and the pre-primary teachers professional development. The first evidences about the increased value acquired by the extracurricular aspects of networking and governance lead to suppose the focusing of enlarged learning contexts on vocational training. Its suggests a need to define new training and educational policies, able to include informal and enlarged dimensions for the enhancement of agency and teaching professionalism.
Language policy, schools and minority rights were essential elements of the political struggle in the Habsburg monarchy in the Early Twentieth Century. In the Austrian lands, the school system played a key role in the language policies of both the State and national movements. The teachers associations were an important element of national activism. Through the role and views of the italian teachers associations in Triest, the paper examines the relationship between Austrian constitution (1867), education, politics, social and ethnic identity.
; In the school of globalized society, considering each and every student as a 'culture', education and teaching cannot be but inter-cultural, so the focus of this work will be on the class and above all on those in charge of its management: the teachers. Specifically, the research was motivated by the following questions: what practical, gnoseological and axiological references can be useful for teachers (and future teachers) involved in today's 'global' classes? In order to answer these questions, the research project was divided into four parts. In the first part, through three experiences as examples, we highlighted the main features that make an inter-cultural scholastic training actually democratic. Offering to the students the opportunity to think about the sociopolitical issues and the conditions for civil and civic experiences that will be able to help them, as adults, to live and act responsibly in a world that will become sooner or later their own world, democratic education, according to Dewey's meaning of democracy, adds value to the educational process of all levels. In the second part, following the constructivist paradigm, especially the socio-cultural constructivism, through Gardner and Bruner's works, we proposed the need to develop a multi-centered and centripetal mind for teachers involved in multicultural classrooms, considering each and every student first of all as a unique human being and not as representative of a specific religion or affiliation. Furthermore, we supported the idea of identity as a process. Presenting three different types of learning spaces (closed space, why space, further space), characterized by a different degree of inter-cultural democracy, in the third chapter we introduced the concept of liberty-for. In educational terms, democracy needs responsibility but responsibility presupposes liberty-for learning, so the students should be given the chance to move within different educational settings in order to learn confronting themselves with the 'authority'. The last part is about the values. Considering Maslow's hierarchy of human needs, for multicultural educational contexts, we discussed about the idea of humanity as a situated possible a-priori: a moral/ethic horizon of meaning through which a teacher can express his/her professional humanity considering each learner as a given of lived life in need of being understood to understand him/herself. ; Dottorato di ricerca in Relazioni e processi interculturali (XXVI ciclo)
The objective of this thesis is to analyse the transformation process of the indigenous oral literature in teaching materials within the scope of the bilingual intercultural education (BIE) in Perù. More specifically, the attention is focused on the experience of "Programa de Formación de Maestros Bilingües de la Amazonía Peruana" (FORMABIAP) that deals with the training of the bilingual teachers and the creation of curricula, methodologies and didactic materials, taking into consideration the cultural linguistic heritage of the students and the social reality in which they live. In the examined texts, which belong to the shawi and kukama cultures, it is evident that the persistence of a different measure in the orality as conscious stylistic choice is evident, and it aims at deconstructing schemes and structures that are typical of the western writing. The active participation of the indigenous students as writers, translators and in some cases as illustrators, removes the mediation of the western interpretative filter and facilitates the affirmation of "other" kinds of logic. The appropriation of the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by the new autochthonous generations favours the expression of the performative character of the Amazonian culture and witnesses the reality of systems of thought different from the western one. The analysis of the current legislation and the different projects carried forward by the national policies, NGOs and religious missions, has allowed to outline a normative historical panorama in which the concept of interculturalism has assumed different meanings based on the political interests and its promoters. In recent times, despite being an instrument for cultural homologation and assimilation since the beginning, the school has undertaken an important role for the indigenous populations within the process of knowledge decolonization and the power relationships overrunning the national reality.
Built in few years to a plan attributed to Luigi Buzzi, and completed by 1866, the imposing building of the Ospedale Militare originally contained 600 beds. Constructed in line with the architectural eclecticism that was widespread at the time, the facades display the same neo-Gothic stylistic and decorative features that are found in several Trieste buildings of that period and which are particularly evident at the front of the complex, in the building known as the "Casa del Comandante". After having served in succession the Austrian garrison, the Italian army and occupying forces during the course of various wartime events and following the Second World War, the Ospedale Militare continued to operate from 1954 to 1989. In that year the hospital closed definitively and was followed by a long period of abandon and deterioration until 2006 when renovation work began. The military hospital building has now been converted into a modern and open residential structure designed to house students, researchers and teachers from all over Italy and abroad. The technical and environmental difficulties confronted and the radical change in use have not prevented the renovation work from being innovative (especially in terms of functionality, safety and accessibility) and at the same time sensitive to the historical and architectural character of the building.
