Zagrebački Botanički vrt Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta sačuvan je u urbanističko-arhitektonskoj koncepciji u gotovo izvornom obliku, kako je izgrađen 1892. godine. Članak donosi sažeti prikaz specifične povijesne arhitekture koja je dio Vrta. Građevine su opisane na temelju istraživanja arhivske građe, analize sačuvanih prvotnih i novijih projekata te izvedenih građevina od nastanka Vrta. Obuhvaćene su sve za Botanički vrt značajne građevine: izložbeni staklenici, vrtlarska kuća, izložbeni paviljon, fiziološki laboratorij, javni zahod te bazeni s "vodometom", uresna ograda, mostić, sjenice i vodosprema. Vrijedna povijesna arhitektura postupno se obnavlja pod konzervatorskim nadzorom nadležne službe za zaštitu kulturnih dobara od 1998. godine do danas. ; Almost the entire original layout of the urban and architectural concept of the Zagreb Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science has been preserved as it was conceived in 1889 by its founder, Prof. Antun Heinz, a professor of botany at the University of Zagreb. The Garden was designed and built in accordance with contemporary European standards for the design of botanical gardens. From its foundation until today, the Garden has retained its multiple purposes. As an integral part of the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb for more than a century, the Garden has played an extremely important role in university teaching and scientific research in the field of botany, as well as education of the general public. The Garden also has cultural, historical and touristic value for the city of Zagreb and the Republic of Croatia. Since it was founded, it has remained open to the public free of charge, providing visitors with numerous educational and popular activities. It is part of the Green Horseshoe in Donji grad, a cultural good inscribed in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia as an original architectural achievement, and as a completed, urbanistic, architectural space in the form of a park in the centre of Zagreb, and also as a horticultural monument in the botanical-garden category. In the first decades after its foundation, a series of functional buildings and structures of park architecture, such as a gazebo, a lookout and small bridges on the lake, shelters and similar elements in various historic styles, were built in the Botanical Garden. As a permanent residence for gardeners, a garden house was built in 1890 in the west part of the Garden, in the direction of Savska cesta. Later, greenhouses were erected and the pavilion was transported from the Second Jubilee Exhibition of Economy and Forestry held in Zagreb in 1891. A rare example of a communal building, a public toilet for parks, based on the 1905 project by Milan Lenuci, has been preserved. The last two buildings were designed by professors from the Faculty of Architecture. In 1933, in the south part of the Garden, Prof. Juraj Denzler built the well of the City Water Supply Network, used by the Garden to this day; and, in 1942, along with the already-built physiological laboratory, Prof. Zvonimir Vrkljan started building the Division of Botany. Buildings, park architecture, parterre and installation network were reconstructed and renovated over the past twenty years in accordance with the defined priorities and conservation guidelines, projects and supervision of the City Institute for the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage. Several selected examples present recent projects and renovations. Industrial development in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, and new materials – iron and glass – enabled the construction of large halls illuminated from above. Constructors applied this type of knowledge to build greenhouses, essential for the successful cultivation of tropical, subtropical and Mediterranean plants in botanical gardens. Often, this type of old greenhouse is a valuable example of specific architectural heritage. A unique historical structure of this type is preserved in the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science in Croatia. Professor Dr. Antun Heinz took a sabbatical in 1889 and visited European botanical gardens in order to gather experience and the latest ideas he needed for the design and construction of the Botanical Garden of the University of Zagreb. He chose a situational solution, a combination of geometric and landscape style. He decided to design the largest part of the Garden in the landscape – or socalled English – style, with randomly planted groups of trees and shrubs, and curving paths. Only the parterre (ornamental flower beds), located in the west part of the Garden, was built in the French style, with a strict geometric and symmetrical ground plan. Around the long central axis, a conception typical of Baroque park heritage of the 17th and 18th centuries, he placed the main building of the Garden and the greenhouses with a geometric floral parterre with two symmetrical paths on each side, and most of that open surface is a free composition of the parterre with high and low greenery. The original shape of the exhibition greenhouses built at the end of the 19th century was preserved, but they were in very bad condition. Therefore, renovation was planned and is underway in order to restore the original condition of the complex of exhibition greenhouses. Fence around the Botanical Garden was gradually added as the city in the immediate vicinity of the Garden developed. In 1900, after the construction of the new street (today's Mihanović Street), the north fence of the Garden was built with the main entrance portal based on a design by the Royal Building Department of the Land Government, and then the east and west fence were built. Since the aesthetically shaped southern fence did not exist, it was designed as a public walkway with a pergola, and the construction began in 2018. The oldest fair building in Croatia was preserved in the Botanical Garden of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science in Zagreb, and restored in 2007. The wooden pavilion was presented at the international exhibition in Vienna in 1890, and in Zagreb in 1891. In 1892, it was moved to the Garden as a building where plants susceptible to frost were kept during winter. Over time, the domes and façade were removed. However, the roof structure and the volume of the building were preserved, and all characteristic elements of the lining were found before the 2005 reconstruction. Based on sufficient data and archival photographs, it was possible to restore the exhibition pavilion to its original form. Reconstruction and renovation of the Botanical Garden complex and functional historic buildings will continue and contribute to the preservation of the complete historical architectural heritage in the park section of the Green Horseshoe of Zagreb Donji Grad.

Ideja univerziteta uzima se kao temeljna u artikulaciji pojma univerziteta i njegove institucionalne ostvarivosti, a u tom se kontekstu u prvi plan stavlja Immanuel Kant kao nezaobilazan mislitelj te ideje. Radi lakšeg razumijevanja njegove artikulacije ideje univerziteta, na početku se ukratko predstavljaju osnovne značajke Humboldtove vizije univerziteta kroz koje se može pratiti Kantov doprinos i utjecaj na njihovo artikuliranje. Centralni je Kantov spis pri tome Spor fakulteta, u kojemu ne samo da je ponudio koncept sveučilišta kao institucije temeljne za razvoj učenosti nego je po nekima možda i posljednji mislio samu ideju univerziteta. Kako analiza pokazuje, ta ideja u historijskome smislu predstavlja artikulaciju klasične ideje modernog, humboldtovskog tipa sveučilišta, no u nju su također utkani brojni elementi koji posjeduju trajnu aktualnost (npr. jurisdikcija pojedinih područja znanja, pretenzije pojedinih znanosti, autonomija znanostî i fakultetâ, odnosi pojedinih fakulteta itd.). Uzimanjem u obzir čitava Kantova opusa, pokazuje se da je u Sporu fakulteta Kant ponudio proširenje svoga prosvjetiteljskoga projekta, dao dopunu svojoj filozofiji politike i prava (javna i privatna upotreba uma), odnosno filozofiji povijesti (univerziteti kao karika u progresu čovječanstva uopće), te dodao i značajne dopune svojoj filozofskoj antropologiji (univerzitet kao medij razvoja čovjekovih moći) i filozofiji odgoja (univerzitet kao neophodna dimenzija u odgajanju čovjeka kao osobe, kao građanina i kao čovjeka uopće). S druge se strane demonstrira nužnost svih tih ostalih dijelova njegova filozofskog opusa za potpuno razumijevanje njegove misli, a napose čitanje ideje univerziteta u antropološkom ključu. In this essay the transfer of knowledge and experts between Vienna, Zagreb, inter-war China and the USSR will be analysed through the collaboration between two well-known interwar public health reformers, Aus- trian Julius Tandler and Croat Andrija Štampar. In the 1930s, they worked in China under the auspices of the League of Nations Health Organization and developed intensive cooperation in the field of public health. Based on the diary records of Andrija Štampar and the preserved archival correspondence, their personal and professional contacts were analysed. The main interest was the exchange of experiences and opinions, as well as their observations about the people and ideas they encountered and the situations in which they found themselves. This essay also tries to shed some light on the milieu in which the notions of public health and social medicine advanced, as well as the multiple external factors which influenced those developments. However, the opportunities for constructive work in the field of public health grew increasingly slim in the political constellation of the time. The League of Nations was losing its power and its health organisation followed suit. The local resistance to foreign influences in China was becoming progressively intense. The ever more severe unrest led the world into World War II and pushed the establishment of an international public health order to the margins for some time to come. However, what remained in memory was a flow of ideas and experiences which was formed in Central and Southeastern Europe and which subsequently tried to make their way far to the East and develop not only local but also general and international qualities. Many of these ideas became the basis for a new world-wide public health system that developed after World War II. ; U ovom su radu predstavljeni transfer znanja i stručnjaka između Beča, Zagreba, međuratne Kine i SSSR-a kroz suradnju dvaju poznatih međuratnih reformatora javnog zdravstva, Austrijanca Juliusa Tandlera i Hrvata Andrije Štampara. Ta su dva javnozdravstvena stručnjaka 1930-tih radili u Kini pod pokroviteljstvom Zdravstvene organizacije Lige naroda i razvijali intenzivnu suradnju u području javnog zdravstva i medicinske nastave. Na temelju dnevničkih zapisa Andrije Štampara i sačuvane arhivske korespondencije analizirani su njihovi osobni i profesionalni kontakti. Glavno zanimanje ovog rada se veže uz razmjenu njihovih iskustava i mišljenja, kao i njihova zapažanja o ljudima i idejama s kojima su se susreli te situacijama u kojima su se našli. Ovaj rad također pokušava osvijetliti milje u kojem su se javno zdravstvene i socijalno medicinske ideje razvijale kao i vanjske čimbenika, nevezane uz samu struku, koji su utjecali na njih. Krajem 30-tih godina 20. stoljeća prilike za konstruktivan rad na području javnog zdravstva postajale su sve slabije a pod utjecajem tadašnje političke konstelacije i gubita utjecaja Lige naroda. Lokalni otpor stranim utjecajima u Kini postajao je sve intenzivniji. Sve oštriji nemiri vodili su svijet u Drugi svjetski rat i gurnuli uspostavljanje međunarod- nog javnozdravstvenog poretka u posve drugi plan. Međutim, ono što je ostalo u naslijeđe je bio protok ideja i iskustava koji je zahvatio ne samo lokalno područje Srednje i Jugoistočne Europe već se proširio sve do područja Dalekog istoka. Mnoge od tih ideja postale su temelj novog svjetskog javnog zdravstvenog sustava koji se razvio nakon Drugog svjetskog rata.

At the 11th Hvar Theatre Conference, in May 1983, the author gave the paper on four Gavella's disciples and his followers, the members of so called 'Zagreb Theatre Cartel' (Dino Radojević, Kosta Spaić, Božidar Violić, Georgij Paro), and on two directors who worked in theatre in the same period, but did not belong to the informal Cartel (Vladimir Habunek, Mladen Škiljan). Giving this paper after almost three decades, in the Part I he re-examines his previous evaluation and interpretation of their personal aesthetics and their contribution to the Croatian theatre in 1960-es and 1970-es. In the Parts II and III he analyzes changes on the Croatian political and cultural scene and the influence of these changes on institutional position and artistic authority of these six directors in Croatian theatre, especially in the late 1980-es and the early 1990-es. Part IV is dedicated to the three deceased directors (Radojević, Habunek, Spaić) and one who has retired from theatre (Škiljan). The work of two still active directors (Violić, Paro), decreasing in quantity since 1980-es to the present, is considered in the Part V. The focus is on Paro's constant interest in plays and novels by Miroslav Krleža, and on Violić's work with younger playwright and composer Mate Matišić. The conclusion is given in the Part VI.

Nastajanje inženjerskog polja mehatronike privlači pozornost mnogih tehničkih stručnjaka, akademika i vladinih dužnosnika u posljednjih nekoliko godina, na nacionalnoj i globalnoj razini. Glavni razlog za to je da mnogi suvremeni proizvodi više nisu čisto električni i elektronski ili mehanički. Štoviše, oni su integrirani multidisciplinarni proizvodi koji su izrađeni od podsustava koji zahtijevaju inženjersko znanje iz različitih disciplina. Tako sve veći broj sveučilišta nude tečajeve, certifikate i programe na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini u području mehatronike. Ovaj članak predstavlja obrazovni program mehatronike na Fakultetu tehničkih znanosti Sveučilišta u Novom Sadu u Srbiji. Osim toga, u članku je prikazana procjena studenata programa mehatronike. Provedeno istraživanje omogućilo je bolji uvid u mišljenje studenata o ovom programu, a samim tim i vrijedne povratne informacije koje će omogućiti daljnja poboljšanja programa. ; The emerging engineering field of mechatronics has caught the attention of many engineering professionals, academics and government officials in recent years, nationally and globally. The main reason for this is that many modern products are no longer purely electrical and electronic or mechanical. Moreover, they are integrated multidisciplinary products which are made from subsystems which require engineering knowledge of different disciplines. Hence, increasing number of universities is offering courses, certificates and programs at undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of mechatronics. This paper presents an educational program in mechatronics at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. In addition, student evaluation of the mechatronics program is presented. The conducted survey enabled faculty to gain more insight into student opinions about this program which provided valuable feedback for further program improvements.

Obitelj je oduvijek bila u interakciji s društvenim, gospodarskim, kulturnim i drugim povijesnim tekovinama. U posljednjih 50 godina dolazi do povećanja broja žena na tržištu rada, a dvohraniteljske obitelji postaju normativ u razvijenim zemljama. Ipak, velik broj žena iz takvih obitelji ima poteškoća u usklađivanju poslovnog i obiteljskog života, posebno što se tiče skrbi za djecu, što upućuje na dvostruku ulogu žena u suvremenoj obitelji. Dakle, status žene se u društvu promijenio, no njezina uloga u obitelji, briga o djeci i teret kućanskih poslova ostaju isti kao u prošlosti kad je žena bila vezana za kuću. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati stavove studenata Sveučilišta u Zadru prema dvostrukoj ulozi žena u obitelji u Hrvatskoj, odnosno prema položaju žene na tržištu rada i njezinim obiteljskim obvezama te utvrditi u kojoj mjeri ocjenjuju ponuđene mjere pomoći ženama u usklađivanju poslovnih i obiteljskih obveza te poboljšanja njihovog položaja u društvu efikasnima. U istraživanju je korišten prigodan uzorak od 181 ispitanika, od kojeg 91 čine žene, a 90 muškarci. Studenti općenito pokazuju umjereno egalitaran stav prema ovom problemu, a kao što je i pretpostavljeno, dobivene su razlike u stavovima, u smjeru da žene, kojima je majka stalno zaposlena te ispitanici kojima je majka obrazovanija, s jedne strane, izražavaju egalitarnije stavove od muškaraca, kojima je majka domaćica te niže obrazovana, s druge strane. Razlika se najviše očituje u vidu usklađivanja obiteljske i poslovne uloge žene te utjecaja ženine zaposlenosti na dijete. Također, analizom rezultata dobiven je podatak da ispitanici/e koji pokazuju veću osjetljivost prema pitanju dvostruke uloge žene u obitelji, kao korijen problema vide u zakonu i društvenim vrijednostima, dok rješenje za pomirenje obiteljske i profesionalne uloge žene i poboljšanja njezinog položaja u društvu vide u dosljednom primjenjivanju zakona, obrazovanju te promjeni svijesti o ravnopravnosti spolova. ; Family has always interacted with social, economic, cultural and other historical changes. In the last 50 years women have increasingly been represented in the labor market, and dual-earner families have become the norm in developed countries. Nevertheless, a great number of women from those families experience difficulties in balancing work and family life, which suggests the dual role of women in contemporary families. The status of women in society has changed, but their role in the family, childcare and household responsibilities have remained the same as when they were primarily tied to the house. The aim of this paper was to examine the attitudes of students of the University of Zadar towards the dual role of women in Croatian families, i.e. towards women's market position and family obligations, as well as to determine the extent to which students evaluate the efficiency of the offered measures that could help women with balancing work and family obligations and improve their status in society. The research was conducted on a convenient sample of 181 participants, 91 of which were women, and 90 of which were men. Students generally showed moderately egalitarian attitude towards this issue. However, as it was assumed, the results showed a difference in attitudes according to independent variables, where women, participants from humanities and social sciences, those whose mothers are employed and more educated, on the one hand, showed more egalitarian attitudes than men, participants from technical field of study, those whose mothers are homemakers and less educated, on the other hand. This difference in attitude was most evident in terms of women's balancing between work and family obligations, and the effect of their employment on the child's wellbeing. Moreover, data analysis showed that the participants who express more sensitivity towards the issue of the dual role of women, think that the root of the problem lies in the law and social values, and that a solution for the reconciliation of women's work and family obligations should be consistent gender equality law enforcement, education and the increasing of gender issue awareness.

Snažno gospodarsko i demografsko zaostajanje dulje je vrijeme jedno od temeljnih razvojnih obilježja perifernih krških područja Hrvatske. Zbog spomenutih obilježja glavni je cilj rada istražiti stavove studenata Sveučilišta u Zagrebu o razvojnim potencijalima tih krajeva. Anketnim upitnikom na kvotnom uzorku od 490 studenata Sveučilišta u Zagrebu ispitivana je spremnost ispitanika za povratak ili preseljenje u te krajeve, kao i veza između iskazane spremnosti i njihove osobne povezanosti s tim krajevima rođenjem ili porijeklom. Također su identificirane gospodarske djelatnosti i nositelji razvoja koje ispitanici smatraju ključnima u procesu revitalizacije problemskih krških područja. Naposljetku su analizirana predviđanja ispitanika povezana s budućim razvojem tih krajeva. Rezultati upućuju na višeslojno poimanje prostora. Utvrđena je niska razina spremnosti ispitanika za povratak ili useljenje u navedena područja, pri čemu su ispitanici koji su za ove krajeve vezani mjestom rođenja ili porijekla značajno više razmišljali o povratku ili preseljenju. Kao gospodarske djelatnosti ključne za revitalizaciju ispitanici su izdvojili ruralni turizam i ekološku poljoprivredu, a kao najprihvatljivije nositelje razvoja jedinice regionalne samouprave i središnju državnu vlast. Također, ispitanici prevladavajuće negativno predviđaju budućnost hrvatskih perifernih krških krajeva. ; Lagging behind in economic and demographic development has been one of the fundamental features of Croatian peripheral karst areas for a long time. For that reason, the main research goal of this paper was to analyse attitudes of students from the University of Zagreb regarding the revitalisation potential for Croatian peripheral karst areas. A questionnaire survey was conducted using quota sampling, whereby 490 students were included. The willingness of respondents to return or move to peripheral karst areas was examined, as well as the association between the respondents' stated willingness and connection to these areas by place of birth or origin. Furthermore, economic activities that respondents saw as crucial to the revitalisation processes of karst problem areas were identified. Respondents' views on the possible future development of peripheral karst areas were also analysed. The results point to multi-faceted views of the area. A low level of willingness to return or move to peripheral karst areas on the part of the respondents was determined, whereby respondents, who were linked with peripheral karst areas by birthplace or origin, considered moving or returning to these areas significantly more. Rural tourism and organic agriculture were seen as the most important economic activities in the process of revitalisation. Regional self-government units and central state government were defined by respondents as most important actors in the process of revitalisation. Finally, respondents' predictions about the future of peripheral karst areas were predominantly negative.

Ravnopravnost spolova središnja je tema u čitavome svijetu, pa tako i EU-u, gdje predstavlja jednu od temeljnih vrijednosti koju se nastoji integrirati u sve politike Europske unije, ali i programe financiranja EU-a. Analizirajući istraživanja o ravnopravnosti spolova na institucijama visokoga obrazovanja statistike idu u prilog činjenici da te institucije reproduciraju društvene vrijednosti koje dovode do spolne, rodne pristranosti, odnosno diskriminacije. Statistike pokazuju da postoji vidna razlika u tipičnim karijernim profilima za žene i muškarce, odnosno u odabiru znanstvenih područja. Razvidna je horizontalna segregacija, koja nimalo ne zaostaje za onom drugom, vertikalnom segregacijom koja upućuje na to da je top menadžment, ali i uspješniji karijerni put u visokoobrazovnim institucijama uglavnom rezerviran za muškarce. Ne zanemarujući činjenicu da je dostizanje ravnopravnosti spolova u visokome obrazovanju ipak dugoročni projekt koji bi trebao biti rezultat ne samo sveučilišnih politika, nego i institucionalnih vladinih mjera i politika, ovim se radom konstruktivno promišlja i aktualizira tema za buduća istraživanja, s provedenim istraživanjem na jedanaest ustrojbenih jedinica Sveučilišta u Mostaru. ; Gender equality is a central theme throughout the world, including the EU, in which it represents one of the core values that should be integrated into all EU policies, as well as EU funding programs. Analysing research on gender equality in higher education institutions, statistics support the fact that these institutions reproduce social values that lead to gender, gender bias, or discrimination. Statistics show that there is a visible difference in typical career profiles for women and men, e.g. in the selection of scientific fields. Horizontal segregation is evident, not far behind the other, vertical segregation, which indicates that top management, but also a more successful career path in higher education institutions, is largely reserved for men. In spite of the fact that the achievement of gender equality in higher education is nevertheless a long-term project that should be the result not only of university policies but also of institutional government measures and policies, this paper constructively deliberates and updates the topic for future research, with research conducted on eleven organizational units of the University of Mostar.

Ovaj rad istražuje mišljenja, stavove i odnose dijela preddiplomskih i diplomskih studenata sveučilišnog studija geografije (PMF, Sveučilište u Zagrebu) prema politici u Hrvatskoj, kako je oni doživljavaju te na koji način komentiraju određene političke događaje. Istraživanje je provedeno u razdoblju od 17. do 22. svibnja 2017. na uzorku od 173 studenta što čini 64 % ukupnog broja studenata geografije na Zagrebačkom sveučilištu. Rezultati ankete pokazuju da studentska populacija, iako predstavlja buduću intelektualnu snagu Hrvatske, nema značajnijeg interesa za politiku te da je njihov angažman, sudjelovanje u političkim strankama kao i uključivanje u političke procese, na vrlo niskoj razini zbog uglavnom visoke razine nepovjerenja prema političarima, političkim institucijama, ali i političkom sustavu općenito. ; This paper examines the opinions, viewpoints and attitudes of a number of undergraduate and graduate university students of geography (Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb) related to Croatian politics, how they experience it and in what manner they comment on certain political events. The research was carried out in the period between 17 and 22 May 2017 on a sample of 173 students which makes 64% of the number of geography students at the University. The survey results show that the student population, although representing Croatia's future intellectual force, shows no significant interest in politics and that their engagement, participation in political parties as well as involvement in political processes are at a very low level mostly due to high level of distrust towards politicians, political institutions but also political system in general.

Tradicije razvoja suvremene geografske misli i znanosti u Hrvatskoj osim za središnji Odsjek za geografijui Zavode na PMF-u u Zagrebu, vezane su posebno i za visokoškolske ustanove i druge ustanove u Zagrebu i drugim gradovima zemlje. Razmjerno značajan broj hrvatskih geografa djelovao je u novije vrijeme i stalno je aktivan na geografskim i drugim katedrama u Zagrebu i u drugim dijelovima zemlje. U radu se posebna pažnja posvećuje razvoju geografskog studija u Zadru, te oblicima studiranja na bivšim pedagoškim akademijama, višim i visokim pedagoškim školama, kao i na pedagoškim, pomorskim, ekonomskim, turističkim i hotelijerskim, političkim, agronomskim, vojnim, kartografskim i drugim visokim učilištima. ; Besides the central Department of Geography and the Institutes of the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Science, the tradition of development of modern geographic thought and science in Croatia is also associated with other higher-education institutions in the country. A significant number of Croatian geographers have been affiliated with science departments (geographic or other)in Zagreb, as well as in the rest of Croatia. This paper is particularly focused on the development of the study of geography in Zadar, as well as the other geography studies at former academies of pedagogy, pedagogical colleges and schools for teacher training, economic, tourist, political, agronomical, military, cartographic and other higher-education institutions.

Ovaj se rad bavi analizom glazbenih preferencija i političkog ponašanja kod studenata na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu. U skladu s navedenim provedeno je istraživanje na studentima Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (N=140). Prvi dio rada obuhvaća teorijski pregled pri čemu se dotiče dosadašnjih istraživanja u sferi glazbenih preferencija te različitih aspekata političkog ponašanja. U drugom dijelu rada provedeno je istraživanje u kojem su se mjerile glazbene preferencije i političko ponašanje mladih. U kontekstu glazbenih preferencija obuhvaćene su sljedeće komponente: učestalost slušanja glazbe, utjecaj slušanja glazbe na život studenata i preferencije prema pojedinom žanru glazbe. Kako bi izmjerili političko ponašanje studenata mjerena je: politička orijentacija studenata, izlaznost na izbore, participacija u strankama, na prosvjedima, potpisivanjima peticija i štrajkovima, učestalost političkog informiranja, podrška demokraciji te je provjeravano znanje o osnovnim političkim pojmovima. Istraživanjem se pokušalo provjeriti postoji li povezanost između tih dvaju faktora. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali kako su lijevo orijentirani ispitanici manje skloni popularno tradicionalnom glazbenom ukusu te pokazuju veću razinu političke participacije. Također, pokazalo se kako ispitanici u čijim životima glazba ima velik utjecaj, pokazuju manju razinu znanja o politici. ; This paper deals with the analysis of musical preferences and political behaviour among students at the University of Zagreb. Tema ovoga rada je djelovanje Srpske demokratske stranke u razdoblju od konstituiranja prvog višestranačkog Sabora pa sve do početka srpske pobune u kolovozu 1990. Također, u radu se razmatra osnivanje stranačkih odbora i neuspješan pokušaj širenja u drugim republikama SFRJ te uloga vodstva i članova stranke u početku srpske pobune u Hrvatskoj. Rad je nastao na temelju dostupnih arhivskih dokumenata, svjedočenja i medijskih istupa stranačkih vođa. ; The topic of this paper is the activity of Serbian Democratic Party in Croatia from the establishment of the first multi-party Parliament to the outburst of Serbian rebellion in August 1990. The paper further tackles the establishment of party committees in other Yugoslav republics, as well as the role of leadership and party members at the beginning of Serbian rebellion. The work is based on available archive documents, testimonies and media outlets of party leaders. The secondary and tertiary sources have also been consulted, such as Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian and Herzegovinian media, as well as available monographs about circumstances current at that time. In the analyzed period, the party leader Jovan Rašković, who was present at most founding meetings in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vojvodina and Serbia, played a crucial role in the establishment of new Serbian Democratic Party committees. However, his dream of becoming party leader among Serbs at Yugoslav level completely failed. In this period, Serbian Democratic Party started institutionally taking over authority in several Croatian municipalities, as this was an essential precondition for deciding on joining the newly established Community. Serbian Democratic Party policy was geared towards the creation of illegitimate and parallel institutions, which tried to match their decisions with Croatian Parliament's legitimate decisions. It was furthermore in line with the destabilization of Croatia's internal affairs, since Serbian Democratic Party correctly assessed that this line would be the first line of defence of Croatia's constitutional order and sovereignty. Additionally, there was turmoil within the party leadership. Jovan Rašković survived the first attempt, initiated by some party leaders, to shift from the presidency. However, Milan Babić overtook, supported by Serbian state politics, the leadership initiative. Within the same party, a differentiation was present between the supporters of Communist and of Chetnik ideologies. Nevertheless, this process did not question their negative attitude toward the new political circumstances in Croatia. Serbian Democratic Party itself was undoubtedly the initiator and organizer of the rebellion of the Croatian Serbs, while the role of low-rank party members was carrying out armed action in the field. All this was evidently done with the political support of Serbia and Yugoslav National Army. Additionally, Serbian Democratic Party stepped out of the regulal political activity by destroying Croatian constitutional order, thus becoming a terrorist organization and the core of personnel in the upcoming Serbian aggression on Croatia.

Partijska su tijela tražila utvrđivanje okolnosti donošenja Deklaracije o nazivu i položaju hrvatskog književnog jezika, sankcioniranje odgovornih te javno distanciranje od njezina sadržaja. U cilju provedbe partijskih zaključaka u većini su institucija održani posebni sastanci. Društvo književnika Hrvatske u dva je navrata raspravljalo o Deklaraciji. Najprije je 29. i 30. ožujka aktiv komunista Društva osudio njezin sadržaj te je naposljetku 4. travnja osnovna organizacija Saveza komunista Društva izrekla stegovne mjere. Vođene su rasprave i na Filozofskom fakultetu, i to najprije u osnovnoj organizaciji Saveza komunista, a potom i na Savjetu Fakulteta. U Matici hrvatskoj, osim jednoga sastanka zatvorena za javnost, s kojega se izišlo s priopćenjem da će Upravni i Nadzorni odbor Matice hrvatske podnijeti kolektivnu ostavku, nije bilo većih rasprava. Tiskovine su iz Zadra kratko izvijestile da je osnovna organizacija Saveza komunista Filozofskoga fakulteta kaznila dvojicu potpisnika. Osim očitovanja o načinu usvajanja Deklaracije nije bilo većih rasprava u institucijama potpisnicama JAZU-a, Staroslavenskom institutu i Društvu književnih prevodilaca, s tim da su njihovi članovi partijci stegovno odgovarali u drugim institucijama, većinom u Društvu književnika Hrvatske i Filozofskom fakultetu. Partijska su tijela negativno reagirala i na pojavu Predloga za razmišljanje skupine srbijanskih književnika, članova Udruženja književnika Srbije. Nakon negativnih partijskih reakcija održana je sjednica aktiva komunista i izvanredna skupština Udruženja. Inicijatorima su izrečene kazne. Članak s održanih sjednica donosi sadržaj usvojenih zaključaka i najzanimljivije dijelove izlaganja pojedinaca. Poseban je naglasak stavljen na izlaganja glavnih sudionika u donošenju Deklaracije i Predloga. ; The Party wanted to unveil the circumstances how the Declaration on the Name and Status of the Croatian Literary Language was signed. It asked for the sanctioning of the responsible ones and public distancing from its content. In order to implement the Party conclusions, in the majority of the signatory institutions special meetings were held. The Association of the Writers of Croatia discussed the Declaration twice. First, on the 29th and 30th March the communists of the Association denounced its content.Then on the 4th of April the ground organization of the League of Communists proclaimed the disciplinary measures. Discussions were led at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, first in the ground organization of the League of Communists and then at the Faculty Council. In Matica hrvatska (Matrix Croatica) there were no larger discussions, except for one meeting that was closed for the public and that issued a statement that the Directors' Board and the Supervisory Board would sign in a collective resignation. The Zadar press gave a short report that the ground organization of the League of Communists of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences had punished two signatories. Except for the professing of the way how the Declaration should be implemented there were no other larger discussions in the signatory institutions of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts, in the Old Slavic Institute and Literary Translators' Association. Their members, who were the Party members, underwent disciplinary measures in other institutions, mainly in the Croatian Writers' Association and at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Ther Party bodies had a negative reaction also to the appearance of The Suggestion for Thinking by a group of Serbian writers, members of the Serbia Writers' Association. After negative Party reactions a communists meeting was held as well as a special, non-regular assembley of the Association. The initiators were punished. The paper brings the content of the conclusions and the most interesting parts of the talks from these meetings. A special emphasis is put onto the talks of the main protagonists of the Declaration and the Suggestion.

Na osnovu analize izvornih arhivskih dokumenata i propisa objavljenih u službenim listovima, opisuje se djelokrug, ustroj i sastav Prezidijuma Sabora NRH. Njegovi temelji postavljeni su u radu Zemaljskog antifašističkog vijeća narodnog oslobođenja Hrvatske (ZAVNOH), odnosno njegova Predsjedništva, koje je kao uže tijelo plenuma osnovano 9. svibnja 1944. godine. Na Četvrtom zasjedanju održanom 24. i 25. srpnja 1945. u Zagrebu, ZAVNOH je promijenio naziv u Narodni sabor Hrvatske, a njegovo Predsjedništvo od tada djeluje kao Predsjedništvo Narodnog sabora Hrvatske. U razdoblju 1945.–1953. njegovo djelovanje može se podijeliti u četiri mandatna razdoblja: Predsjedništvo Narodnog sabora Hrvatske/Prezidijum Sabora NRH (25. srpnja 1945.–30. studenoga 1946.), Prezidijum Ustavotvornog sabora NRH (30. studenoga 1946.–20. siječnja 1947.), Prezidijum Sabora NRH prvoga saziva (20. siječnja 1947.–4. prosinca 1950.) i Prezidijum Sabora NRH drugoga saziva (4. prosinca 1950.–6. veljače 1953.). U prvom dijelu rada opisuje se osnivanje i prestanak rada Prezidijuma Sabora, u drugom njegov djelokrug, a u trećem ustroj i sastav po mandatnim razdobljima. Njegov ustroj i djelokrug uspoređeni su s ustrojem i djelokrugom Prezidijuma Narodne skupštine FNRJ i prezidijuma drugih jugoslavenskih republika. Rezultati istraživanja prezentirani su kombinacijom tematskog i kronološkog pristupa, a dijelom su sistematizirani u obliku tabelarnih prikaza. ; This paper describes the scope, structure and the composition of the Presidium of Parliament of the People's Republic of Croatia (PRC) which was active as a political governmental body in Croatia from 1945 to 1953. According to the Yugoslav constitutional system of government, the same political body existed on the federal level as the Presidium of the People's Assembly of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia (FPRY), as well as in every republic-member of the Yugoslav federation and the scope, organization and composition of the Presidium of Parliament are compared with the scope, organization and composition of those bodies. The foundations of the activities of the Presidium of Parliament, as well as other central governmental institutions in Croatia (namely, Parliament, Government, and Supreme Court) were laid in the work of the State Anti-Fascist Council for the National Liberation of Croatia (ZAVNOH) i.e. its Presidency, since until the end of the war they together performed the legislative, executive and judiciary government. During the 4th session that took place in Zagreb from 24 to 25 July 1945 ZAVNOH changed is title to the People's Parliament of Croatia and since then its Presidency worked as the Presidency of the People's Parliament of Croatia. In the period from 1945 to 1953 its activity can be divided into four mandate periods: the Presidency of the People's Parliament of Croatia/the Presidium of the Parliament of the PRC (25 July 1945–30 November 1946), the Presidium of the Constituent Parliament of the PRC (30 November 1946–20 January 1947), the Presidium of the 1st Session of the Parliament of the PRC (20 January 1947–4 December 1950) and the Presidium of the 2nd Session of the Parliament of the PRC (4 December 1950–6 February 1953). Its existence in the system of governmental power is the result of taking over the Soviet constitutional solutions about organizing the state and governmental institutions in the 1946 constitution of the FPRY and through it also in the constitutions of each federal unit. It was the main legislative body in the period until the constituting of the Constituent Parliament of the PRC, since the Parliament of the PRC only had a single short five-day session in late August 1946. This is confirmed by the information about 29 laws passed by the Presidium of Parliament in the period from 8 September 1945 to 20 November 1946. Besides legislative, it also performed other functions from the jurisdiction then belonging to the Parliament. The constitution of the PRC from 1946 bestowed upon it performing tasks that are usually given to the president of the state (representing in the country the people's and state sovereignty of the PRC, calling the general elections, granting pardons, awarding medals and recognitions), as well as other executive tasks partly closely linked to the legislative activities. The special function pertained to supervising the people's committees. The important difference in the scope in relation to the Presidium of the People's Assembly of the FPRY was that it did not have the authority in the area of foreign affairs. Even though the constitution of the PRC from January 1947 lists it together with the Parliament in the chapter on the highest bodies of the governmental power in Croatia, the sources and constitutional-legal texts of the time, in accordance with the principle of unity of power, define it as a body which "stems from the Parliament" and is subordinated to it. Also, despite being formally constitutionally defined as one of the highest bodies of governmental power in Croatia, in reality it was the Party's transmission, since the actual power and monopoly in decisionmaking was in the hands of the bodies of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia/the League of Communists of Yugoslavia i.e. the Communist Party of Croatia/the League of Communists of Croatia. It was a collegiate body comprised of members of the Parliament. The decision of its composition was formally passed by the Parliament, but based on the conclusions reached during sessions of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the League of Communists of Croatia. It was elected for the same term as the Parliament, but it continued to perform its duties after the dissolution of the Parliament, until the election of the new Presidium of Parliament. From 1945 to 1953 the total of 45 MPs were included in its activities. 13 of them were members during all four mandate terms, 11 during two and 14 during only one. The structure and the way of work were determined by the Rulebook dated from 7 August 1947. They were the exact copy of the structure and the way of work of the Presidium of the People's Assembly of the FPRY, with differences deriving from different jurisdictions (federal, republic) of these two bodies.

Im theoretischen Teil der Arbeit werden das Konzept der nachhaltigen Entwicklung, die Wichtigkeit der Bildung zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung, mit der die nachhaltige Zukunft verwirklicht werden kann, die Verantwortung für systematische Förderung und Durchführung der Bildung zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung, sowie die Notwendigkeit der Implementierung des Themas der Nachhaltigkeit in die Studienprogramme kurz erklärt. Im empirischen Teil der Arbeit werden die Ergebnisse der im Jahre 2016 durchgeführten Forschung an der Universität in Rijeka (N=1347) präsentiert, die dann mit den Ergebnissen der im Jahre 2010 durchgeführten Forschung (N=1001) verglichen werden. Von Befragung der Studenten zu einigen Dimensionen der Bildung zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung wird dann deren Interesse an verschiedenen Themen und damit verbundenen Studienprogrammen der nachhaltigen Entwicklung analysiert, dann die Wahrnehmung der Möglichkeiten und Arten der Implementierung der Problematik der nachhaltigen Entwicklung in die Studienprogramme und schließlich die Wahrnehmung der Verantwortung für eine systematische Förderung und Durchführung der Bildung zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung. Aus dem Vergleich beider Forschungen aus den Jahren 2010 und 2016 kann man den Schluß ziehen, dass ähnliche Kollegs und Themen angeführt werden, und dass Studenten aus dem Muster aus 2016 weniger Interesse an allen angebotenen Ebenen des Studiums aus dem Bereich der nachhaltigen Entwicklung zeigen. Weiterhin hebt ein Teil der Studenten hervor, dass sie nicht über genug Wissen über die nachhaltige Entwicklung verfügen und ein Teil von ihnen findet, dass man das Thema der Nachhaltigkeit in frühere Ebenen der Bildung implementieren sollte. Was ihr Interesse am Thema der Nachhaltigkeit betrifft, heben sie größtenteils die Notwendigkeit hervor, die Themen in die Studienprogramme einzuschließen, die sich auf Menschenrechte, Nahrungssicherheit, Armut und Entwicklung, Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter und die Qualität von Luft und Wasser beziehen.
