Regarded as the blackest Brazilian territory – with an 80% black population – Bahia is marked in its cultural and artistic constructions by the effects of the transatlantic diaspora, giving origin to a black theater guided by the Afro cultural heritage in its scenic and textual compositions, focused on a liturgical referentiality going beyond religiousness. From the historical references of the Brazilian Black Theater and its reverberations, this essay aims to present a brief historiography as well as to reflect on how the black theater produced in Salvador and Alagoinhas (Bahia / Brazil) articulates within a collective logic, which can be thought of as a practice of theatre production, but, mainly, as a form of solidary and strengthening operation among groups. The episiteme gathered by the Black Theater refers to the relationship between the Afro culture of resistance and collective production. The proposal is to think the black theater in regards to its aesthetic production, which provokes the dialogue between Afro-centered and occidental knowledge as an intrinsic political proposal to its yet peripheral modes of production within the Brazilian scenario. The group NATA (Alagoinhas) will be used as an example and allusions will be made to the Bando de Teatro Olodum (Salvador / BA). ; Considerado el territorio brasileño más negro –su población está constituida por un 80% de negros–, Bahía está marcada en sus construcciones culturales y artísticas por los efectos de la diáspora transatlántica y produce un Teatro Negro pautado por la herencia cultural afro en sus composiciones escénicas y textuales, y enfocado en una referencialidad litúrgica que trasciende lo religioso. A partir de las referencias históricas del Teatro Negro brasileño y sus reverberaciones, este artículo se propone presentar una breve historiografía y reflexionar cómo el Teatro Negro producido en Salvador y en Alagoinhas (Bahía/Brasil) se articula de acuerdo con una lógica de colectividad, que puede ser pensada como una práctica de producción teatral, pero, principalmente, como un modo de operación solidaria y de fortalecimiento entre grupos. El episteme buscado por el Teatro Negro concierne a la relación entre la cultura afro de resistencia y la producción colectiva. El artículo se propone pensar el Teatro Negro en su ámbito de producción estética, que provoca el diálogo entre los conocimientos afrocentrados y occidentales, como propuesta política intrínseca a sus modos de producción aún periféricos dentro de un escenario brasileño. Para ello, se utilizará como ejemplo el grupo NATA (Alagoinhas) y se harán alusiones al Bando de Teatro Olodum (Salvador/BA).

This article seeks to account for the indigenist project of Ecuadorian writer Jorge Icaza (Quito, 1906-1978) by exploring a minor and relatively little known work of the author: the play Flagelo. Presumably written in 1932 and published for the first time in 1936, Flagelo may well be taken as the gateway to Icaza's indigenism, understood as a specific delimitation within "Ecuadorian social realism". An attempt is made to provide a reading that exposes the procedures and conflicts that give rise to the work in question, while allowing to establish its ideologized and political character, without undermining its artistic workmanship and its particular successes as a scenic product. ; El artículo busca dar cuenta del proyecto indigenista del escritor ecuatoriano Jorge Icaza (Quito, 1906-1978) a partir de la exploración de una obra menor y relativamente poco conocida del autor: la pieza teatral Flagelo. Escrita presuntamente en 1932 y publicada por primera vez en 1936, Flagelo bien puede tomarse como la puerta de acceso al indigenismo icaciano, entendido este como una delimitación específica al interior del llamado "realismo social ecuatoriano". Se procura hacer una lectura que exponga los procedimientos y conflictos que dan origen a la obra en cuestión, a la vez que permita establecer su carácter ideologizado y político, sin por ello hacer menoscabo de su trabazón artística y sus particulares aciertos como producto escénico.

The present study aims to answer if the cultural-artistic theatrical processes developed, from Fiteca, constitute alternative economic forms that configure a territorial identity in La Balanza. For the purposes of this, an approach is made that includes the trajectory or historical memory of the experience of the Fiteca community, the analysis of its structure and internal organization, the external relations that it weaves with external agents and actors, as well as its relationship with the territory; and its future prospects. For this, semi-structured interviews were used through which dialogue with the members and collaborators of the organization was used in order to reveal the dynamics developed within Fiteca. Thus, it was possible to discern that the artistic-cultural practices and the dynamics developed around them by the Fiteca community are based on forms of cooperative and voluntary work as fundamental pillars of production and reproduction of their dynamics that, over the years, They have configured a territorial identity in the inhabitants of La Balanza. Likewise, its internal organization has a democratic foundation insofar as it collects the opinions and concerns of all its members and participants through general assemblies, where each one has a voice and vote. In addition, there is a division of labor through the organization of working groups or commissions for each area. Finally, the events and activities that the community develops are open to the general public and at no cost. Based on the characteristics described, Fiteca shares logic with alternative economic forms such as the social economy. ; El presente estudio tiene como objetivo responder si los procesos artístico-culturales teatrales desenvueltos, desde Fiteca, constituyen formas económicas alternativas que configuran una identidad territorial en el barrio de La Balanza, en el distrito de Comas, Lima. A efectos de este, se hace un abordaje que comprende la trayectoria o memoria histórica de la experiencia de la comunidad Fiteca, el análisis de su estructura y organización interna, las relaciones externas que teje con agentes y actores externos, así como su relación con el territorio; y, sus perspectivas a futuro. Para ello se empleó entrevistas semiestructuradas a través de las cuales se dialogó con los miembros y colaboradores de la organización con el fin de revelar las dinámicas desenvueltas dentro de Fiteca. Así, se pudo atisbar que las prácticas artístico-culturales y las dinámicas desenvueltas entorno a ellas por la comunidad Fiteca se basan en formas de trabajo cooperativo y voluntario como pilares fundamentales de producción y reproducción de sus dinámicas que, con el paso de los años, han configurado una identidad territorial en los habitantes de La Balanza. Asimismo, su organización interna tiene un basamento democrático en la medida que recoge las opiniones e inquietudes de todos sus miembros y participantes a través de asambleas generales, donde cada uno tiene voz y voto. Además, se da una división del trabajo mediante la organización de grupos de trabajo o comisiones por cada área. Finalmente, los eventos y actividades que desarrolla la comunidad están abiertos al público en general y sin costo alguno. En función a las características descritas, Fiteca comparte lógicas con las formas económicas alternativas como la economía social.

Educar en valores y dotar de competencias a los alumnos de Educación Primaria es un deber educativo irrenunciable. El objetivo de este trabajo es crear un programa de trasmisión de valores y adquisición de competencias a través del teatro. El fin será facilitar a maestros y tutores poder introducir y desarrollar trasversalmente los valores y competencias propuestos en la legislación vigente con una actividad altamente motivadora y reconocida cada vez más dentro del campo de las metodologías activas. Para ello justificamos legal y teóricamente los aspectos que definen la educación en valores; buscamos argumentos y evidencias que justifiquen la utilización del teatro como herramienta de introducción a la enseñanza y aprendizaje de los valores; y desarrollamos una propuesta cuya implementación permita validar este género como herramienta altamente motivadora y aglutinadora de intereses de toda la comunidad educativa. En líneas generales se ha probado que este tipo de actividades hacen que los alumnos se sientan protagonistas, establezcan y cumplan unas normas y compromisos que ellos mismos establecen, y el clima de aula mejore. ; Active methodologies and project work: educate through the theater. Educating in values and providing primary school students with skills is an unavoidable educational duty. The aim of this paper is to créate a programme for the conveyance of values and the acquisition of skills through theatre. The purpose will be to help teachers and tutors to introduce and develop the values and competencies proposed in the current legislation with a highly motivating activity increasingly recognized within the field of active methodologies. For this reason, we legally and theoretically justify the elements that define the Education in values; seek arguments and evidence that justify the use of the theatre as an introductory tool to the value-based teaching and learning process; and prove that the theatre is a highly motivating and unifying tool for the entire educational community throughout the the development of a proposal. In general terms, it can be observed that this activity makes students feel like protagonists, establishing and complying with rules and commitments that they themselves have set, improving the classroom climate. ; peerReviewed

The allegorical dimension is present virtually throughout Jesús Campos's theater, not only during the late stage of Francoism, but also in that created during the democratic era. Although this characteristic links him to what has been called New Spanish Theater, which has been said to employ allegory as a strategy to deal with censorship and as a reaction to the realism of the preceding generation, this explanation does not suffice to explain either the presence of allegorical elements in the theater of these years, nor in that of Campos in particular. In the case of Campos, after examining the presence of allegorical features in several of his works, we reach the conclusion that their use is closely related to his own vision of the world and idea of artistic creation. ; La dimensión alegórica está presente en prácticamente todo el teatro de Jesús Campos, no solo en el escrito durante el tardofranquismo sino también en el creado en democracia. Aunque esta característica lo vincula al llamado Nuevo Teatro Español, del que se ha dicho que emplea la alegoría como una estrategia frente a la censura y como reacción frente al realismo de la generación precedente, esta explicación no es suficiente para comprender ni la presencia de las formas alegóricas en el teatro de estos años ni en el de Campos en particular. La cultura, entendida como pilar para el desarrollo de los Estados, además de un motor de crecimiento es una forma de vincularse con otras naciones. En este sentido, el arte materializa la cultura a través de sus lenguajes. De ellos, el escénico es el que mejor populariza la identidad cultural de quienes habitan el Río de la Plata hacia el exterior. El objetivo principal de esta ponencia es analizar la circulación teatral entre la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y Montevideo. El objetivo secundario, mensurar esa circulación para poder cuantificarla. Se propone abordar la problemática circunscribiendo el análisis a 2010-2017 puesto que es el período en que se produjo la profundización ideológica en ambos países de gobiernos de centroizquierda y parte del cambio de gobiernos. De este modo, se podrá observar, a través de la obtención de indicadores y el análisis de contenido de algunos tratados y acuerdos puntuales que se han suscripto entre los Estados así como la circulación teatral en términos cuantitativos. De esta manera, al comprender la circulación de teatro y la diplomacia cultural como variables, se procura relevar si en la práctica se genera el ámbito propicio para poder concebir una diplomacia cultural conjunta entre ambas ciudades. Asimismo, se espera analizar la incidencia de la denominada diplomacia cultural en la circulación teatral entre ambas ciudades. Profesionalmente, se observan casos de estudio interesantes, como la Movida Teatral de las dos Orillas o el Corredor Latinoamericano de Teatro, como ejemplos de esta acción cultural. No obstante, queda por ver en qué medida las políticas culturales de los gobiernos locales incentivan este tipo de prácticas. This work explores the possibilities that the concept of ethical testimony, linked to documentary theatre as a specific form of political dramaturgy, presents to destabilize th e hegemonic discourse on gender-based violence. To do this, we analyze the text and the mise-en-scène of the documentary play, Jauría (The Pack). The work, written by Jordi Casanovas and directed by Miguel del Arco, directly presents to the public the events that occurred in the case of the so-called la Manada (wolfpack) through the transcripts of the trial that took place in 2018 in the High Court of Justice of Navarra. The operationalization of the four dimensions of ethical testimony enable us to investigate the ways in which Jauría is constructed as an ethical narrative of violence through, inter alia, the direct account of the facts and the discursive mechanisms of persuasion, specifically linked to a form of power. Finally, we conclude that the narrative of sexual violence in the paradigm of ethical testimony helps to challenge the dominant narrative about violence by triggering a political response oriented towards social transformation. ; Este trabajo explora las posibilidades que el concepto del testimonio ético, vinculado al teatro documento como forma específica de dramaturgia política, muestra para desestabilizar el discurso hegemónico sobre la violencia de género. Para ello, analizamos el texto y la puesta en escena de la obra de teatro documental, Jauría, escrita por Jordi Casanovas y dirigida por Miguel del Arco, que presenta directamente al público los hechos ocurridos en el caso de la llamada Manada, a través de las transcripciones del juicio que tuvo lugar en 2018 en el Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Navarra. La operacionalización de las cuatro dimensiones del testimonio ético nos servirá para indagar en los modos en los que Jauría se construye como narración ética de la violencia mediante, entre otros, el relato directo de los hechos y los mecanismos discursivos de la persuasión, específicamente vinculada a una forma de poder. Finalmente, concluimos que la narración de la violencia sexual situada en el paradigma del testimonio ético contribuye a desafiar el relato dominante sobre la violencia activando una respuesta política orientada a la transformación social.

The following article comparatively analyzes the theatrical theories ofErwin Piscator (Das politische Theater, 1968) and César Vallejo (El arte y la revolución, 1973)and their practical applications. It also attempts to locate César Vallejo's theater within theparameters of political theater. Piscator, Vallejo and other authors of revolutionary dramapresent an ideological and aesthetic model in which the "new" proletarian aestheticsovercomes that of the bourgeoisie. This aesthetics lie in the utilization of the cinematograph,the interpretative techniques of collective characters, and the use of documentation from aproletariat perspective. ; En este artículo se hace un análisis comparativo de las teorías teatrales de Erwin Piscator (Das politische Theater, 1968) y César Vallejo (El arte y la revolución, 1973) y de las aplicaciones prácticas de uno y otros modelos teatrales en un intento de situar correctamente la obra del peruano dentro de los parámetros de teatro político del momento. Tanto Piscator como Vallejo y otros autores de teatro revolucionario presentan un proyecto ideológico y estético paralelo en el que la nueva estética proletaria supere a la burguesa. En esta estética es fundamental el uso de la nueva cinematografía, las técnicas interpretativas del personaje colectivo y el uso de documentación desde una perspectiva proletaria.

En este artículo se hace un análisis comparativo de las teorías teatrales de Erwin Piscator (Das politische Theater, 1968) y César Vallejo (El arte y la revolución, 1973) y de las aplicaciones prácticas de uno y otros modelos teatrales en un intento de situar correctamente la obra del peruano dentro de los parámetros de teatro político del momento. Tanto Piscator como Vallejo y otros autores de teatro revolucionario presentan un proyecto ideológico y estético paralelo en el que la nueva estética proletaria supere a la burguesa. Entre los años 1926 y 1934, Elías Castelnuovo estrena seis obras de teatro vinculadas con distintos proyectos colectivos, que se configuran como los iniciadores del teatro "independiente" argentino: Teatro Libre (1927), Teatro Experimental del Arte (1928) y Teatro Proletario (1934). La hipótesis de que estas obras teatrales se proponen criticar la cultura y la sociedad dominantes, al igual que su producción narrativa anterior, a partir de la apelación a un tono tragicómico y de la apropiación de rasgos vanguardistas permite reconsiderar su recepción mayoritaria y advertir la singularidad del entramado entre estética y política de su apuesta literaria. ; Between 1926 and 1934, Elías Castelnuovo performed for the first time six theater plays, related with different collective projects, that were the founders of the Argentinian "independent" theater: Teatro Libre (1927), Teatro Experimental de Arte (1928) and Teatro Proletario (1934). This article's hypothesis is that these plays meant to criticize the dominant culture and society using a tragicomic tone and the appropriation of avant-garde features, as in his previous prose fiction. This allows us to reconsider the way in which his work was mainly received, and observe the singularity of Castelnuovo's grip between aesthetics and politics.

Resumen: Si con relación a Orlando Furioso —el más logrado poema épico del Renacimiento italiano— el teatro de Ludovico Ariosto (1474-1533) se perfila como una obra menor, las comedias La cassaria (1508), I supossiti (1509), Il negromante (1509; 1520; 1528) y La Lena (1529) exponen un proceso de configuración con características peculiares del Renacimiento. La marcada influencia de la comedia palliata latina (Plauto y Terencio) se evidencia en los personajes tipos (jóvenes enamorados, viejos avaros, servidores con especuladora astucia) y se expone en el clásico esquema de articulación por juegos escénicos. La configuración excepcional de Ariosto juega sobre remisiones a Plauto (Asinaria, Pseudulus, Bacquides) y a Boccaccio al refigurar el esquema de acción. Pero simplifica el entramado ficcional de los servidores. Ariosto no figura a la ruffiana con los motivos caricaturescos de la comedia latina, ni expone el grotesco de la Aloigia de Aretino. Instituye a Lena en eje psicológico de acontecimientos en una realidad social regida por la especulación, el egoísmo y la desconfianza. ; Abstract: If compared to Orlando Furioso —the most accomplished epic poem in Italian Renaissance— Ludovico Ariosto's (1474-1533) theater shapes up as a minor work, the comedies La cassaria (1508), I supossiti (1509), Il nigromante (1509; 1520; 1528), and La Lena (1529) depict a setting process with peculiar Renaissance characteristics. The marked influence of the palliata latina (Plautus and Terence) is evidenced in the typical characters (youngsters in love, greedy elders, servants with speculative cunning) and is presented in the traditional stage game articulation scheme. However, Ariosto reshapes types and enriches the classical structural scheme in his settings. He articulates dialectics between stage games and a narrative axis that allows him to gradually delve both into the psychological traits of the main characters and the framework of the social and political reality. This paper fathoms the role of the ruffiana in Lena, the main character of the comedy that takes place in the Ferrara of the Este family, in 1528 and 1529. Ariosto's outstanding setting is laid out based on references to Plautus (Asinaria, Pseudulus, Bacquides) and Boccaccio by reshaping the action scheme. However, he simplifies the fictional framework of servants. Ariosto does not shape the ruffiana with the caricature motifs of Latin comedy nor depict the grotesque shown in Aretino's Aloigia. He introduces Lena into the psychological axis of events in a social reality ruled by speculation, selfishness, and distrust.
