The situation of young workers is determined by the legal regulation of work. Of particular interest in this context is the traineeship, which is statistically proven to be the basis for many young people entering the labour market. In this context, it is especially important that national regulations are clear and stable to ensure the security of young workers. The Hungarian national regulations will be examined in this study, starting with statistical data, i.e. the extent to which traineeships are present, and examining the related legal relationships based on the EU conceptual background, with the aim of exploring whether the Hungarian legal framework guarantees status security for young trainees. Based on the legislation, case law and relevant literature, it can be concluded that the Hungarian national legislation on traineeship is fragmented, non-transparent, complex, and generally does not provide an impeccable basis for improving the labour market situation of young people from a labour law or social security perspective, and shows a number of inconsistencies in national and EU labour law.

Literature on the best principles and practices for online community building reviewed and an explanation of how these best practices were utilized to build the online community is provided. Initial program design is described as well as program developments that occurred over four years of the program. The article then examines how the program's evaluation was carried out and reviews some of the evaluation data. The article concludes with a discussion about the successes and challenges experienced in building the peer network and how other social work or traineeship programs, or agencies, might use an online peer network to support social work students and professionals.

The simulated traineeship experience that inspires this text has involved second and third year-students of the Sciences of Education Course in the field of the nursery and childcare services during the first COVID-19 lockdown. It has followed a 'Simulated Educational Enterprise' model that has been successful in high schools in the first years of 2000. In this case, a training space has been set up, that was preparatory to the opening of the service (legislation, regulations, planning); as well as a dialogue with pedagogically trained educational professionals, that are already engaged in early childhood education, concerning activities in which University trainees are involved. A theoretical/practical education has been developed concerning aspects that the trainee, in reality, seldom or only on an executive level confronts, since he/she more often uses, in real traineeships, theoretical and physical materials that are already fitted by structured educators. Therefore, the simulated traineeship experience has been shaped as a sort of incubator for developing a solid connection between science, practice and legislation. In this paper the strong and the weak points of the simulated traineeship are discussed, as well as further opportunities of development, in order to save some positive aspects and include them in the future pre-service training for educators.

The personnel capacities (the available human resources) in the small and medium businesses have an essential role in any national economy concerning its sustainability, economic growth and development. As a pivotal segment in the sustainability and the progress of the small and medium businesses, the personnel capacities and their proper allocation contributed the enhancement of productivity, innovation capacity and profitability in those businesses. The fact that most of the Macedonian economy is based upon small and medium trade companies, made us believe that the research would be most relevant if conducted on this category of trade subjects. The research aims to determine the real needs and challenges of the Macedonian trade companies on one hand, and their openness and availability related to the trainees on the other hand, as a future perspective for the personnel capacities of the trade companies. This would be done by focusing on the needs of the small and medium trade companies and the position of the trainees regarding the personnel capacity and the human resource management (hereinafter HRM). The whole research is based on an analysis of the statutory regulations, the operative plans of the Macedonian government and ministries, the factual condition determined based on the elaborated quantity data in the paper and finally, the close relations among the challenges and the needs of small and medium size entrepreneurs (hereinafter SMSE) versus the status of the trainees in Macedonia.
