Überraschende und ungewöhnliche Einblicke in die Bilderwelten des Nationalsozialismus. Außergewöhnliche Perspektiven auf das Dritte Reich: Bilder von Bedrohten, Verfolgten, Besetzten, Verschleppten - und Tätern. Bilder aus der NS-Zeit begegnen uns immer noch häufig. Viele davon entstammen der nationalsozialistischen Propaganda und vermitteln einen einseitigen Blick. Sie zeigen Geschehnisse auf Straßen und Plätzen ebenso wie in Lagern oder Gefängnissen, in privaten Räumen oder Verstecken. Viele bieten überraschende Entdeckungen, und oftmals erweist sich ihre Nachkriegsgeschichte als ebenso spannend wie ihre zeitgenössische Wahrnehmung. Trotz der strengen Kontrolle der Nationalsozialisten entfalteten viele der Bilder eine Wirkung, die den Absichten des Regimes zuwiderliefen.
