Yüksek Lisans Tezi ; Bu çalışma, "Berlin Duvarı'nın yıkılışından sonra devletler tarafından inşa edilen yeni duvarların, inşa edilme gerekçelerindeki dönüşümle birlikte devletlerin güvenlik politikalarındaki misyonu nedir?" sorusuna cevap aramaktadır. Bu kapsamda ilk bölümde; duvarın kavramsal özü ve inşa ediliş amacı arasındaki ilişki ortaya konmuş ve yüzyıllar öncesinden günümüze kadarki inşa edilmiş duvarlara yer verilmiştir. Duvarın somut bir yapı olmasının yanında felsefi bir temele de sahip olduğu iddiası, Foucault'un iktidar teknolojileri görüşünden yola çıkılarak ortaya konmuştur. Aynı bölümde realizm ve duvarların ilişkisi genel hatlarıyla ortaya konularak teorik bir giriş yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, çalışmanın ilk örneklemi olan İsrail-Filistin Duvarı'na yer verilmiştir. Öncelikle İsrail ve Filistin arasındaki sınır politikalarının geçmişi ele alınarak duvar inşasına kadar gelen sürece değinilmiştir. Devamında duvarın günümüzdeki durumu ile İsrail'in inşa ettiği yeni duvarlara yer verilmiştir. Son olarak ise İsrail'in duvarı realizmin argümanlarına göre analiz edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde diğer örneklem olan Türkiye-Suriye Duvarı ele alınmıştır. Bu bölümde de öncelikle iki ülke arasındaki sınır politikalarının geçmişi, duvarın inşa aşaması ve günümüze kadarki süreci değerlendirilmiştir. Bölüm, Türkiye-Suriye Duvarı'nın realist analizi ile tamamlanmıştır. In our opinion, the spiritual purpose of Ancient Rus in the middle of the ІХ–ХІV centuries was the spread of Christianity to the vast expanses of Eastern Europe, its contribution to the spiritual transformation of the world. Overcoming the insurmountable obstacles of nomadic destruction, Ukraine-Rus own strife and betrayal step by step goes to self-determination as the Second Jerusalem – the spiritual center of Orthodoxy and of all Eastern Christianity through the choice of faith, through the three christening of Rus Askoldov, Olzhine and Volodymyrove, through the disregard for Christianity, through the creation of the glorious Kiev variant of Orthodoxy, through the acquisition of holiness in the temples of St. Sophia, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, and the exploits of its monasticism, etc., through the acquisition of apostolic origin in the legend of Andrew, through overcoming all temptations, preservation and rebirth, through the enrichment of world experience of Christianity, because of the fostering of mystical Eastern Christian foundations in Paisii Velychkovsky's Little Rus monasteries, in Skovoroda, in Gogol, in Bulatovych's nameword, etc., through the Metropolitan of Kyiv Petro Mogyla of the Orthodox Center – New Jerusalem already reached and finally, overcoming all the insurmountable obstacles in the creation of our own Orthodox Church of Rus-Ukraine in recognition of patriarchy and in unity with world orthodoxy and modern religious revival. Let Moscow want to be a political center and it proves very consistently, and Ukraine-Russia, the blasphemous city of Kyiv, emerge as a spiritual center – the New Jerusalem, which is evidenced by all its historical development, already demonstrated by the fact that the "priesthood is higher than the kingdom", which could be its contribution to the spiritual transformation of the world. Thus, the very reason that Kyiv could become the spiritual center of Eastern Christianity could be that it 1) overcame all temptations, first and foremost 2) the loss of gain, 3) consistently pursues the unity of Christianity, for example, Kyiv is also the center of the UGCC, 4) Kyiv with its shrines concentrates the fullness of the holiness of Christianity, 5) it develops its specifically Eastern Christian mystical foundations and is 6) open to the positive world (Kyiv – Mohylyanska Academy and its theology, etc.) of mutual influence. Let's form Ukraine-Rus as the New Jerusalem – the spiritual center. ; На нашу думку, духовним призначенням Давньої Руси сер. ІХ-ХІV ст., її внеском у духовне перетворення світу було поширення християнства на величезні терени Східної Європи. Долаючи непереборні перешкоди кочівницьких руйнувань, власних роздраїв і зрад Україна-Русь крок за кроком іде до власного самовизначення як Другий Єрусалим – духовний центр православ'я і усього східного християнства через вибір вір, через три хрещення Руси (Аскольдове, Ольжине і Володимирове), через ігнорацію розколу християнства, через витвір славного Київського варіанту православ'я, через набуття святості у храмах св. Софії, Києво-Печерської лаври та подвигах її чернецтва та ін., через набуття апостольського походження у Андріївській легенді, через подолання усіх спокус, збереження і відродження православ'я, через нехіть і уникнення його московського одержавлення, через збагачення світовим досвідом християнства, через плекання саме містичних східнохристиянських засад у малоросійських скитах Паїсія Величковського, у Сковороди, у Гоголя, у Булатовичевому ім'яслав'ї та ін., через вже досягнутий у часи митрополита Київського Петра Могили православний центр – Новий Єрусалим і, нарешті, подолавши усі непереборні перешкоди у створенні власної православної церкви Руси-України, у визнанні вселенським патріархатом і в єднанні зі світовим православ'ям і сучасним релігійним відродженням. Хай Москва хоче бути політичним центром і дуже послідовно це доводить, а Україна-Русь, богохранимий град Київ постають як духовний центр – Новий Єрусалим, що доводиться усім її пройденим історичним розвитком, уже продемонстрованим тим, що "священство вище царства", що могло би бути її внеском у духовне перетворення світу. Отже, чинниками того, що саме Київ може стати духовним центром східного християнства могло би бути те, що він 1) подолав усі спокуси, передусім 2)згубу одержавлення, 3) послідовно проводить єдність християнства, наприклад, Київ є центром і для УГКЦ, 4) Київ з його святинями зосереджує повноту святості християнства, 5) розвиває саме його специфічно східнохристиянські містичні засади і при тому є 6) відкритим до світових позитивних (Києво-Могилянська академія та її богослів'я тощо) взаємовпливів. Утворим Україну-Русь як Новий Єрусалим – духовний центр.

Bu çalışmada Amorium Kenti kazılarında tespit edilen ve toplamda 35 adet ağız ve kaide parçasından oluşan sırlı seramik buluntusu ele alınmıştır. Söz konusu buluntular, 2020-2021 yılları arasında kentin Yukarı Şehir bölümünde yer alan İç Sur alanında tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile tespit edilen sırlı seramik buluntularının tanımlanması ve tarihlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. İç Sur sırlı seramik buluntuları, üretim teknikleri göz önünde bulundurularak tek renk yeşil sırlı, tek renkli sgrafitto ve çok renkli sgrafitto olmak üzere üç ayrı grup halinde ele alınmıştır. Benzer hamur, astar, sır ve form özellikleri sergileyen İç Sur sırlı seramik buluntuları, aynı üretim grubuna ait gibi görünürler. Orta Anadolu ve Batı Anadolu'daki benzer örnekleriyle karşılaştırılarak tanımlanan buluntular, yine benzer örnekleri ve İç Sur alanı içerisinde tespit edildikleri alanlar dikkate alınarak tarihlendirilmiştir.
Amorium sırlı seramik buluntuları, kentteki Türk-İslam dönemi yerleşimine ilişkin veri sunmasının yanı sıra seramik buluntularıyla ilgili yapılan çalışmalara katkıda bulunması açısından önemlidir. Nitekim Orta Anadolu'daki seramik buluntularına ait veriler, bölgenin Geç Bizans, Beylikler ve Erken Osmanlı dönemlerini kapsayan geçiş sürecindeki üretim ve ticaretini kavrayabilme noktasında henüz yetersizdir. Aydınlatılması gereken bu hususta, Amorium sırlı seramik buluntularının, bu alanda yürütülen çalışmalara katkıda bulunulması amaçlanmaktadır.

In this article I take issue with the way Egyptian uprising, which started on 25 January 2011, has been controlled by the power bloc. It is yet too early to analyze this process-which contains severe power struggles at all levels of socio-political life-in detail but the attempts of the old power block to contain the uprising via the security sector in general and the military in particular, is important to understand the current situation. That is why I examine the political change in Egypt between 2011 and 2014 and then concentrate on the army and the police, and not the socio-political actors which instigated the uprising. Naturally this does not mean that these actors are not important. ; Mısır'da 25 Ocak 2011'de başlayan isyan sürecine odaklanan bu yazıda isyanın kontrol edilme biçimi ele alınmıştır. Her düzeyde keskin iktidar mücadelelerinin yaşandığı bu süreci tüm yönleriyle analiz edebilmek için henüz erken ancak Mübarek dönemi iktidar bloğunun ordu ve güvenlik aygıtı üzerinden isyanı denetleme çabası, bugünü anlamak açısından önemlidir. Bu nedenle 2011'den 2014'e yaşanan değişimi özetleyerek, isyan eden toplumsal aktörler üzerinde değil, isyanın kontrol altına alınmasında belirleyici rol oynayan ordu ve güvenlik aygıtı üzerinde duracağım. Doğal olarak bu, isyan eden toplumsal aktörlerin önemsiz olduğu anlamına gelmez.

The conference of the British Association of Slavic and Eastern European Studies (BASEES) in 2019 was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the event that marked democracy triumph and liberation of communist authoritarianism. The focus was made on the factors of this victory, in particular on the role played in it by intellectuals of that time. The problem of scholars' public activity was brought to the forefront by the thesis that achievements of science and education are not only theoretical developments and their successful assimilation in the form of knowledge, but also the level of influence science and education have in the society. Transition from instrumental rationality to rationality of values enhances practical importance of intellectual activity. Addressing this issue is particularly important in the context of crisis in the values of liberal democracy and increasing distrust of rational knowledge and culture. Modern technologies of manipulating consciousness contribute to the strengthening of authoritarian regimes. Therefore, the experience of intellectuals under communist authoritarianism must teach contemporary scholars to uphold the values of freedom and democracy and maintain social optimism. The discussion on the fall of the Berlin Wall proved that the scholars' civic and academic positions reinforce each other, thereby forming a powerful defence against authoritarianism. However, the reincarnation of authoritarian sentiment nowadays provides grounds for accusing intellectuals of their inability to face up the challenges of the present. Among those challenges, we should mention forgetting the horribleness of old walls and illusions on benefits of constructing new ones. ; Конференцію Британської асоціації слов'янських і східноєвропейських студій (BASEES) 2019 року було присвячено тридцятій річниці падіння Берлінського муру– події, котра ознаменувала тріумфальну перемогу цінностей демократії та свободи над комуністичним авторитаризмом. Головну увагу було зосереджено на причинах цієї перемоги, зокрема ролі інтелектуалів. Теза про те, що здобутки науки та освіти– це не лише теоретичні досягнення та їх успішне засвоєння у вигляді знань, але й рівень впливу на суспільство, актуалізує проблему публічної активності науковців. Перехід від інструментальної раціональності до ціннісної посилює практичну значущість інтелектуальної активності. Це питання набуває особливого значення у зв'язку з кризою цінностей ліберальної демократії та зростанням недовіри до раціональних знань і культури. Сучасні технології маніпулювання людською свідомістю сприяють посиленню позицій авторитарних режимів. А тому досвід інтелектуалів в умовах комуністичного авторитаризму має навчити сучасних науковців відстоювати цінності свободи й демократії та зберігати соціальний оптимізм. Дискусія про падіння Берлінського муру доводить, що громадянська та академічна позиції науковця лише посилюють одна одну, тим самим утворюючи потужний захист проти авторитаризму. Проте реінкарнація авторитарних настроїв у сучасну добу живить популярні звинувачення інтелектуалів у неспроможності протистояти викликам сучасності. Один із таких викликів– забування про жахи старих стін та ілюзії щодо спорудження нових.
