Le phénomène de non-recours n'est certainement pas nouveau, mais comme il fait de plus en plus l'objet de mesures, son ampleur apparaît et le besoin de réponses grandit. Avec des taux de non-recours variant entre 40 et 60 % dans les pays de l'Union européenne 1 , des solutions techniques se mettent en place pour faciliter l'accès des aides sociales et services publics. Le discours politique s'est cependant concentré sur deux formes de non-recours, la non-connaissance (l'aide n'est pas connue) et la non-réception (elle est connue, demandée, mais pas obtenue ou utilisée), mettant de côté la non-proposition (l'aide n'est pas activée malgré l'éligibilité du demandeur, que celui-ci connaisse ou pas l'aide en question), mais aussi la non-demande (l'aide est connue mais pas demandée, ou bien un droit ouvert mais la prestation non utilisée) et également la non-orientation (les destinataires potentiels ne sont pas sollicités ou accompagnés pour activer un droit) 2. L'action sur le non-recours est alors pensée pour rendre plus performantes les modalités d'information des publics, d'accompagnement de ceux-ci vers leurs droits, de parcours intentionnés, de pré-accueils inconditionnels, etc. Ces solutions ont bien entendu leur utilité. Pour autant, le non-recours ne peut pas être réduit à un seul problème d'accessibilité. Lorsque les personnes ne demandent pas, la question n'est pas simplement celle de l'accessibilité mais aussi celle de la pertinence de l'offre publique. C'est le cas en particulier avec la « non-demande intentionnelle », quand par désintérêt des personnes s'abstiennent volontairement de recourir malgré l'utilité des aides-financières ou non financières-auxquelles elles sont pourtant éligibles. First Aid in Accidents is a program designed to provide emergency care and treatment to accident victims before they are taken to a hospital, health facility, or clinic where they can receive further medical care from a doctor or paramedic. If an accident or injury is not handled properly, it can develop into an emergency, resulting in serious injury and even death. First aid training and knowledge is very important for dealing with accidents because it teaches basic methods for saving victims from accidents and disasters that occur. This is so that with adequate preparation, such as basic life support training, reaction actions will be faster and more accurate, minimizing the number of victims and damage. The study's goal is to ascertain how "an overview of The degree of student understanding of first aid for emergencies at Budi Murni 2 Catholic Private High School Medan 2023 Purposive sampling was used in this study's descriptive design, with a total of 60 respondents. A questionnaire sheet is the tool that is being used, random sampling. The findings indicate that 96.7% of pupils have first aid knowledge for accidents, knowledge based on fainting was 80%, knowledge based on bleeding are 88.3%, based on broken bones 85%, and knowledge based on splint dressing is 58.3%. It is anticipated that students would become more knowledgeable about and capable of using first aid in accidents.

ABSTRACTHow did Haiti, where peanuts were once a staple crop often grown, traded, processed and shared by women, reach its contemporary food crisis, when some mothers must feed their children a diet of donated peanut‐based nutritional supplements to keep them alive? Case studies of peanuts as food aid in Haiti reveal the ways neoliberalism and disaster capitalism stymie women's embodied sovereignty. This article uses the concept of embodied sovereignty to build on food sovereignty literature, enabling a sharper focus on the bodies that produce, process, feed and eat food, as well as the historical production of gendered food responsibilities, and the life‐and‐death stakes of sovereign power.

The range of action of a given set of enhancers is thought to be defined by insulator elements bound by the 11 11 11 11 zinc-finger nuclear factor CCCTC-binding protein (CTCF). Here we analyzed the genomic distribution of CTCF in various human, mouse and chicken cell types, demonstrating the existence of evolutionarily conserved CTCF-bound sites beyond mammals. These sites preferentially flank transcription factor–encoding genes, often associated with human diseases, and function as enhancer blockers in vivo, suggesting that they act as evolutionarily invariant gene boundaries. Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) is a major public health, social, and economic problem in Ethiopia. Even though the government is working to scale up Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) services, patient loss to follow-up and ensuring adherence to ART regimens remain major challenges of the ART program in the country; little has also been done on the assessment of patient satisfaction on different HIV/AIDS service dimensions. This study aimed at assessing patient satisfaction with HIV/AIDS services in health centers of East Shoa Zone, Oromia region, Ethiopia. The study employed a cross-sectional survey between February and May 2017. Data was collected through exit interviews using five-point Likert scale-based questions and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20. The overall mean patient satisfaction score was 3.16 (SD = 0.87) on a 1 to 5 scale. Availability of anti-Tuberculosis (anti TB) drugs in pharmacy was an item with the highest mean satisfaction score (4.18 ± 0.61) while waiting time to get pharmacy service was ranked least by the patients (mean score of 1.92, SD = 0.81). Merchants and students were more likely to be satisfied compared to other occupational groups. Overall, there was a wider gap in the study facilities concerning patient satisfaction and, therefore, health facility managers, Zonal and Woreda health offices, and Oromia Region Health Bureau should work in collaboration with other stakeholders to improve patient satisfaction with items for which the satisfaction score was low.

This article focuses on the influx and circulation of foreign objects in the Soviet Union during the 1940s in order to investigate the specific role of these objects during World War II. It reveals how the distribution of humanitarian aid intersected with both the (non)recognition of the genocide of Soviet Jews during the Nazi occupation, and with Stalinist social hierarchies. It explains why erasing the origins and precise circumstances through which these objects entered Soviet homes could in turn be used to hide the abuses that the Red Army perpetrated against their defeated enemies. Finally, it revises the image of a Soviet society that discovered luxury and Western modernity for the first time during the war by reconsidering the place and the trajectories of these objects in Stalinist material culture of the interwar period.

Résumé L'étude du travail des aides à domicile permet d'éclairer le paysage des classes populaires contemporaines et les formes d'autonomie des femmes situées au bas de la structure sociale. En mettant en œuvre un ensemble d'opérations de recherche – combinaison de plusieurs enquêtes statistiques, comparaison des données dans le temps et dans l'espace, articulation des données statistiques et ethnographiques, prise en compte des trajectoires sociales et de leur articulation avec les situations de travail et de hors-travail – l'article fait apparaître la diversité des ressources et capitaux du groupe professionnel et les lignes de clivage qui le traversent. Il invite notamment à prendre en compte les différences de diplômes et les différences de ressources économiques pour saisir les appartenances sociales de ces femmes de classes populaires. Par-delà les différences de « capital d'autochtonie », il propose également de s'intéresser au « capital de mobilité ».
