Politicka geografija, geopolitika i geostrategija u Politickoj misli od 1964. do 2013. godine
In: Politicka misao, Band 51, Heft 1, S. 109-132
Since its beginnings till the present day, Radovan Pavic has been the most frequent author in the area of Political Geography, Geopolitics and Geostrategy in Politicka misao. Although he was not the only author in this area, his work left a strong influence on the development of Political Geography and Geopolitics at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb and on the development of the discipline in Croatia. Having in mind the quantitative extension of his work, this paper analyzes the contribution in Politicka misao in the last fifty years (1964-2013). Besides quantitative analysis, the aim of this paper is content analysis on a geographical, thematic and theoretical basis. Adapted from the source document.
Terenska istraživanja u metodološkom sustavu turističke geografije ; Field Research in the Methodological System of Tourism Geography
; The focus of this work is field research as a complex method of the methodological system of tourism geography, a scientific discipline of human geography. Tourism as a geographical phenomenon is researched here as a complex dynamic system in constant flux and transformation. The complexity of tourism is to be found in its spatial, socio-economical, political, cultural, psychological, historical, administrative, legal, organisational and other components, which are all interconnected in geographical space, and thus compliment and oppose each other, thereby transforming the cultural landscape of a tourist region. This work will single out basic characteristics of fieldwork: complexity, all-inclusiveness, depth and the use of triangular procedures and methods. Triangular methods and procedures such methods of observation as individual interviews and focus groups, questionnaires, landscape mapping, photo and video recording as well participatory observation. Furthermore, special focus will be placed on the three separate stages of field research: the preparatory, executing and concluding phase. Student achievements at the undergraduate, graduate and post graduate level in the study of geography by applying practical field examinations will be suggested here: the aim of this is to increase competence in applied research and other projects.

Stanje morala, bojne spremnosti i problemi opskrbe u 18. korpusu Srpske vojske Krajine ; STATE OF MORALE, COMBAT READINESS AND SUPPLY PROBLEMS IN THE 18TH CORPS OF SERB ARMY OF KRAJINA
Rad se temelji na izvornoj arhivskoj građi Srpske vojske Krajine i literaturi. Tema rada je nastanak, razvoj, stanje i teškoće u djelovanju 18. korpusa Srpske vojske Krajine. Naglasak je na problemima logistike, odnosno problemima opskrbe jedinica, medicinske skrbi za ozlijeđene i oboljele vojnike, osiguranja prehrane i smještaja vojnika. Analizira se specifi čan položaj 18. korpusa Srpske vojske Krajine i uloga logistike u izgradnji borbenoga morala i bojne spremnosti među njegovim pripadnicima. ; The author analyses the state of logistics and combat morale in the 18th Army Corps of the Serbian Krajina. This Army Corps was established through reorganization of the Territorial Defence in the occupied territories of Western Slavonia. It consisted of three infantry brigades, two squadrons, a tactical group, an intervention battalion, a mixed artillery regiment and a background base. At the level of the Corps Command, logistics services were established with the purpose of supplying and equipping the units. Due to the lack of material and technical resources, as well as manpower, the corps was the smallest and the weakest within the Serbian Army of Krajina and it never reached the level anticipated in the organization and formation plans. The Corps Logistics could not supply sufficient amounts of food and equipment for the recruits. Poor nutrition and badly equipped troops had led to declining levels of morale and ability to perform combat tasks. General poverty resulted in the increase of crime and decline of military discipline among the troops. Alcoholism and disobedience had led to frequent fatal accidents among soldiers. Although the Headquarters were aware of all the problems in the Corps, they failed to entice discipline among compulsorily enlisted soldiers and to ensure regular and adequate supply of the subordinate units. The decline of morale, indiscipline and the lack of military equipment had caused the inability of the 18th Corps to carry out everyday combat tasks. For all its weaknesses, the Corps had not been able to successfully resist the attack from Croatian forces, which brought its final collapse in May 1995.
