IT ALSO EXAMINES THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF ASIA-PACIFIC AND THE FUTURE ROLES THE USA, CHINA AND JAPAN ARE LIKELY TO PLAY IN THE REGION'S POLITICAL ECONOMY.
