Abstract The author investigated the relationship between gender diversity and organizational inclusion and moved forward to examine whether gender diversity, diversity management and organizational inclusion predict workplace happiness by collecting 320 questionnaires from academics in three public universities in Egypt. A t-test was used to identify how gender may affect perceptions of diversity management and organizational inclusion. Hierarchical regressions were applied to test whether gender diversity, diversity management, and organizational inclusion can predict workplace happiness. The findings showed no relationship between gender diversity and organizational inclusion, and the authors confirmed that gender diversity, diversity management, and organizational inclusion can effectively predict workplace happiness. Theoretical and empirical implications are discussed at the end of the paper.

The travel diaries of the chairman of the Army Economical Board of the Siberian Cossack Host and the chairman of the West Siberian Department of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society, Georgy Efremovich Katanaev, contains valuable ethnographic information about the population of the Siberian Cossack lines, which is only partially put in the scientific circulation. In this article, ethnographic notes by G. E. Katanaev, which were done in 1893 during a duty trip in the Kokchetav district of Aqmola Region. The source is interesting not only for information about the ethnic composition of the Siberian Cossack Host and the ethnocultural processes in it, but also for the ideas of the diary`s author about ethnicity and its transformation possibilities.

The article deals with the problem of anti-collaborationist propaganda on the territory of the Kalinin region during the Wolrd War II. This thorny subject has been hushed up for a long time by official historiography. It has been openly discussed since the 1990s when it immediately turned out polemical. It is this article that turns to documentary sources of the Kalinin region. The most imprtannt of these sources is the report of V. A. Dunaev who was at the head of the primary party organization at the Idritsky district level. The author discusses the methods of propaganda struggle against the accomplices of the occupation fashist regime and gives a high assessment of their effectiveness.

Cultural Geography per se is one of the marginal sub-disciplines of Geography in India and contributed mainly by practitioners from other disciplines like Anthropology, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Architecture, etc. Due to this reason, the sub-fields of Cultural Geography did not grow in this land of rich cultural heritage and traditions. One such field is the Geography of Music. The objective of this brief editorial note is to demonstrate the potential of folk music as a source of knowing the changing trends and patterns in society, culture, and economy and their spatiality. The examples cited are mainly from the Middle Ganga Valley, a region in which Bhojpuri is the language of the common populace, in which the author is currently based.

Engaged anthropology is analyzed in this text as part of the engaged social sciences. The author uses Michael Burawoy's concept of public sociology and Thomas Hylland Eriksen's concept of public anthropology to organize the anthropological field and distinguish four types of anthropology: academic; critical; applied; and public and engaged. Public anthropology is understood here as the participation of anthropologists in public debate while engaged (in the strict sense of the term) on behalf of a community under study. This introduction to Engaged Anthropology in a Time of Growing Nationalism [Antropologia zaangażowana w czasie nacjonalistycznego wzmożenia; Kultura i Społeczeństwo 2020, no. 2] presents the main issues of the volume's papers on the theoretical and practical problems of engaged anthropology as seen from Poland.

This article is devoted to the study of the legal prohibition of the civil and political rights in the exercising of the right to public control. The paper classifies the main approaches to defining and using the concept of the 'abuse of rights', and gives its author's definition. The author substantiates the need to use this concept in the field of the regulation of public relations. The paper analyzes the legislative consolidation of the legal ban on the prohibition of the abuse of civil and political rights in the implementation of the right to public control at the federal and regional level. This article employs a number of research methods, in particular: comparative law; classification; evaluation.

AbstractEvaluation scholars have offered culturally responsive evaluation theories, methods, and frameworks, but few have applied them to systems or governance evaluations. Culturally responsive and systems evaluation literature does not address the unique legal and political components of sovereign Tribal/First Nations Governments. This chapter addresses literature and practice gaps through an emerging Nation‐to‐Nation (N2N) Systems Evaluation Framework. Applying Tribal Critical Theory (TCT) to systems and governance evaluations, the author builds on an emerging Tribal Critical Systems Theory (TCST) to consider future culturally responsive and legally inclusive evaluation applications at systems and governance levels. TCST is applied within an emerging N2N systems evaluation model helping evaluation practitioners conceptualize systems evaluation design used between sovereign governments.

This article critically examines the role of neurobiology in the work of Sylvia Wynter through her own "pieza framework." Wynter argues that the pieza, the figure of exchange invented at the beginning of the slave trade, haunts contemporary political economy through multiple forms of human fungibility. Reading this intervention alongside and against her deployment of neural plasticity, the author reconsiders the relationship between race, gender, and class in the field of Wynter studies and argues for recentering the pieza framework in struggles against racial capitalism. Wynter warns how quickly a vision of the world otherwise can become a source of neoliberal regeneration and how a new critique of political economy must begin with the ruthless rejection of fungibility in its many guises.

In a powerful polemic, the author explains how the 'moral' dimension of progress is no longer defensible. In fact, material improvement, he argues, is a substitute for moral progress as rich societies devour the planet and teach the world that consumption = civilisation. The present crisis is not merely of our climate but also of our social, moral and spiritual futures. There is, he contends, no damage to the earth which does not have its counterpart in the inner landscapes of humanity. Affluence, consumption and the market ensure that social goods are sequestered from social evils – so that they appear to have different origins. He calls for a regeneration of human resourcefulness where we relearn to meet what are real needs.

The International Criminal Court was the result of decades of postwar pressure to establish a permanent tribunal with jurisdiction over the most heinous crimes against humanity. Despite the noble goals of its architects, the ICC has not been effective in prosecuting such crimes. The author argues that the reasons for the Court's ineffectiveness were apparent from its inception due to the flawed view of the human person and society that is at the foundation of the Court. Using the insights of Catholic Social Doctrine, this article dissects the erroneous social anthropology, which is the basis for the Court's design, and suggests possible correctives based on a correct understanding of the human person and human society.

The article provides an overview of current regulatory acts of the Russian Federation on various aspects of the legal regulation of the use of additive technologies in domestic medicine. The authors draw attention to the question of the legal nature of bioprint organs. In the study, such methods of scientific knowledge were used as: general scientific dialectic, formal legal and comparative legal methods. At the same time, the author proceeds from the subjective-objective backside of processes and phenomena, as well as their relationship. This means that all people can use the technology of a new generation, which can cause a therapeutic or preventive effect. This condition is the need for the formation of new legal issues in this area through modernization.

The paper presents a comparative analysis of the Pahlavi "Story of Jōišt ī Friyān", comparing it with three other tales, which span several hundred years and belong to several cultural traditions. By isolating structural and content-related features from the narrative core of these tales and setting them into relation with each other, the present author attempts to answer the following questions. Are there meaningful parallels between these four tales, which would suggest literary borrowing? And, if there are, would it be possible to identify one of them as the primary source of the others? The study is intended to contribute to our understanding of the process of literary exchange between Zoroastrians and Muslims in early Mediaeval Iran.

In the 1970s, a group of students associated in the Culture Section of the Club of Catholic Intelligentsia in Warsaw created a unique place for weekly discussion meetings. The search for values and patterns is visible while analysing the programme of these meetings. The author describes the role of history and literature in shaping independent attitudes. Members of the Culture Section treated the history (from Romanticism till contemporary period) and the literature created by the representatives of independent culture as a basis for discussion about their own culture and avowed values. Among invited speakers were both participants of earlier independence movements and the current ones. The paper attempts to show one of the 'oases' of youth's free thought and discussions at the time.

The ongoing trial of sixty-eight members of Golden Dawn, a violent neo-Nazi political party in Greece, has been called 'one of the most important trials in contemporary Greek history'. Based on direct observation and insights from a trip to Athens in September 2019 to observe the trial, which coincided with the sixth anniversary of the murder of the anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas, this article documents the role that activists, lawyers and the families of victims of racist violence have played in bringing members of Golden Dawn to justice. The author examines the trajectory of authoritarian violence inherent in recent Greece history and the culture of police impunity and collusion in racial violence that continues today.
