На основе анализа подходов белорусского и российского руководства к реализации Союзного договора сделан вывод о том, что сложности этого интеграционного проекта носили объективный характер и отражали различие потенциалов государств, их политических и экономических систем. В статье отмечается, что многоуровневая интеграция на постсоветском пространстве с участием Беларуси и России в начале 2000-х гг. являлась доминирующим трендом в межгосударственных отношениях двух стран и способствовала формированию между ними отношений стратегического союзничества. Автор утверждает, что союзные отношения с Россией в начале 2000-х гг. содействовали построению в Беларуси социально-ориентированного типа экономической модели, позволили сохранить и развить производственный потенциал, получить доступ к российскому рынку, укрепить гуманитарные связи. По мнению автора, содержание, опыт и уроки дискуссий начала 2000-х гг. о Союзном государстве имеют значение для определения дальнейшего развития этого интеграционного проекта в современных условиях. ; The author point out that the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Union between Belarus and Russia in the early of the 2000s occupied an important place in the bilateral relations between Russia and Belarus. Based on the analysis of the approaches of Belarusian and Russian authorities to the implementation of the Treaty on the Union, it is concluded that the complexity of this integration project was objective and reflected the diff erence in the potentials of states and their political and economic systems. The article points out that multilevel integration on the post-Soviet territory with the participation of Belarus and Russia in the early 2000s was a dominant trend in the interstate relations of these two countries and contributed to the formation of a strategic Alliance between them. The author argues that allied relations with Russia in the early 2000s contributed to the construction of a socially-oriented type of economic model in Belarus and allowed to preserve and develop production potential, to gain access to the Russian market, and to strengthen humanitarian ties. According to the author, the content, experience and lessons of discussions of the early 2000s about the Union State are important for determining the further development of this integration project in modern conditions
