; Influence recreative functions of the media traditionally explain the economic, socio-cultural and psychological factors. Firstly, the realisatation of recreative functions is understood as a driving force of the advertising market that proves their commercial viability. Secondly, as the product and the media channel broadcast mass culture, are interested in the production of content that satisfies the needs of the audience and plays a therapeutic role. Appeal to recreation through the media has also been associated with their availability, as opposed to the ubiquity of media production rather high value of other real way of recreation (cultural events, sports, travel, etc.). These factors transformed the traditional ideas about the functions of the media, formed the basis of the beginning so-called "infotainment", where recreative components "penetrate" and are actively used in information-analytical genres. However, in our view, recreative functions are interesting not only as a popular and commercially profitable resource, but in the ideological and political contexts. Entertainment, which is now fed through anything: news, often tragical, talk shows, analytical programs, non-fiction films. As a result, it is not just about the use of recreative components in "serious" genres, not only the desire to entertain the audience. Infotainment in fact replaces the news and analytical programs, simulates their presence on TV. And at the same time infotainment creates ideological attitudes.
