วีรชนเป็นองค์ประกอบหลักของกิจกรรมทางสังคมและประวัติศาสตร์ การศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์จำนวนมากจึงเป็นการศึกษาบทบาทและความสำคัญของวีรชนในเหตุการณ์ประวัติศาสตร์ บทความชิ้นนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาว่ารัฐบาลจีนมีการนำเสนอเรื่องราววีรชนระบบฮ่องเต้ในแบบเรียนประวัติศาสตร์จีนเป็นอย่างไรและรัฐได้มีการสอดแทรกอุดมการณ์ชาติผ่านวีรชนเหล่านี้อย่างไรโดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาทางประวัติศาสตร์ด้วยการวิเคราะห์หนังสือแบบเรียนประวัติศาสตร์ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นของจีน ผลการศึกษาพบว่าแบบเรียนประวัติศาสตร์ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นได้กล่าวถึงวีรชนจีนเป็นจำนวน 47 คนโดยมีเพศชาย 46 คน เพศหญิงคนเดียวสามารถแบ่งออกเป็น 7กลุ่ม ประกอบด้วย (1) ฮ่องเต้ (2) นักวิทยาศาสตร์/ผู้สร้างนวัตกรรมทางเทคโนโลยี (3) ผู้นำการปฏิรูป/ ผู้นำปฏิวัติ/ผู้นำทางการเมือง/ผู้นำจลาจล (4) ทหาร/ข้าราชการ/ ผู้ปกป้องแผ่นดิน (5) ผู้เปิดเส้นทางติดต่อโลกภายนอก (6) นักปรัชญา/นักคิด และ (7) อื่นๆ เช่น จิตรกร เป็นต้น จากจำนวนวีรชนทั้งหมดในหนังสือแบบเรียนนี้ พบว่า แบบเรียนประวัติศาสตร์มีการเขียนถึงฮ่องเต้ในประวัติศาสตร์จีนยุคโบราณจำนวนมากที่สุด ส่วนแนวการเขียนวีรชนในแบบเรียนนั้น ผู้เขียนใช้กรณีจิ๋นซีฮ่องเต้ ซึ่งเป็นฮ่องเต้ที่ถูกอุทิศจำนวนหน้าเขียนมากที่สุด โดยมีการนำเสนอจิ๋นซีฮ่องเต้ทั้งในด้านดีและด้านที่เป็นความผิดพลาด เน้นแนวคิดทางการปกครองของจิ๋นซีฮ่องเต้ มีการสอดแทรกด้วยอุดมการณ์ความเป็นเอกภาพแห่งชาติ Abstract Heroes are the major component of social and historical activities. A number of historical studies have investigated the roles and the significance of heroes in historical events. This article aimed at studying how the Chinese government presents the stories of heroes in the emperor system in the Junior High School's Textbook and how the state inserts national ideology through these heroes. The historical method was employed. The Chinese history textbooks of junior high school were studied. The study found that the Chinese history textbooks of junior high school presented 47 Chinese heroes: 46 males and 1 female. The heroes were divided into 7 groups: (1) emperors, (2) scientists / technology innovators, (3) reform leaders / revolutionary leaders / political leaders / riot leaders, (4) soldiers / government officials / protectors of the nation, (5) the persons opening the nation to the outside world, (6) philosophers / thinkers, and (7) others such as painters. From the total number of the heroes in the textbooks, it was found that the emperors in the ancient Chinese history were presented the most. The story of Qin Shi Huang was written with the most pages. Both good sides and mistakes of Qin Shi Huang were presented. It emphasized the ruling principles of the Qin Shi Huang. The ideology of national unity was also inserted in the historical lessons.
