The authors of this paper address the current situation of the «foreign terrorist fighters» from the European Union and the policy essentially based on the detachment of their nationals and the preference for them to stand trial in Syria and Iraq which, in their vast majority, European countries are following. In this vein, a critical and propositional reflection is raised in which it is suggested that, both from a point of view that prioritizes security above all else and in what refers exclusively to the protection of human rights, active repatriation of these people and their prosecution in the countries of origin is the most advisable option. ; Los autores de esta artículo examinan la situación actual de los «combatientes terroristas extranjeros» procedentes de la Unión Europea y la política basada en el desentendimiento de sus nacionales y la preferencia de que estos sean juzgados en Siria e Irak que, en su inmensa mayoría, están siguiendo los países europeos. El patriarcado, institución vigente en la actualidad bajo los más variopintos ropajes y tesituras, ha sido objeto de intenso análisis y reflexión por parte de distintas disciplinas y ciencias. Y no podría ser de otro modo, habida cuenta de su magna importancia en la configuración y evolución de la humanidad, así como su influjo, directo e indirecto, en las religiones, las culturas, las políticas, etc. El presente ensayo se propone, no obstante, abordar la causalidad que subyace a su génesis y universalización, desde un enfoque multidisciplinar que no se constriñe exclusivamente al área de las ciencias sociales, sino que también dialoga y se nutre de los aportes hechos por las ciencias naturales, especialmente en biogeografía, genética y etología.Palabras clave: Patriarcado, selección cultural, dominación, dimorfismo sexual.Recepción: 28 de enero de 2020 / Aceptación: 23 de junio de 2020

For half a century Antarctic tourism has turned from being an elitist activity to become an economic sector that attracts a growing number of travelers. At present, the current human presence on the Antarctic continent brings about a dichotomy; on the one hand, nature tourists cruises, which may or may not land in Antarctica; on the other hand, scientific missions (another example of tourists), that in many cases maintain a continuous presence throughout the year. In this paper we examine this unique aspect, relating to international legislative regulation, reviewing theoretical approaches contributed by different authors, characterizing the problems arising from tourism and ecological impact of specifying the recent trends of Antarctic tourism from a geographical perspective. ; Desde hace medio siglo el turismo antártico ha pasado de ser una actividad elitista a un sector económico que moviliza a un número creciente de viajeros. En la actualidad, la presencia humana en el continente antártico se caracteriza por su dicotomía; por un lado, los turistas de naturaleza y de crucero, que pueden o no tomar tierra al llegar a la Antártida; por otro, los turistas científicos, que son los únicos que en algunos casos pueden mantener una presencia continuada durante todo el año. En este estudio se reflexiona sobre este aspecto singular, relacionándolo con la regulación legislativa internacional, revisando los enfoques teóricos aportados por diferentes autores, caracterizando los problemas derivados del impacto ecológico del turismo y precisando las tendencias recientes del turismo antártico desde una perspectiva geográfica.
