El ejercicio y aprendizaje de la ciudadanía es una cuestión irrenunciable en sociedades que defienden ideales democráticos de participación y justicia social. Entendemos la ciudadanía como concepto dinámico y relacional, que se aprende ejerciéndola. Desde esta perspectiva, la investigación que presentamos reconoce el 15M como escuela de aprendizaje de la ciudadanía. Nuestro objetivo es justificar y ejemplificar esta afirmación a través de entrevistas en profundidad a personas que han participado activamente en el mismo. Se expone el concepto de ciudadanía y de aprendizaje de la ciudadanía como marco desde el que analizar los resultados de las entrevistas: motivaciones, aprendizajes, emociones, vínculos y redes. Se discuten los límites y las posibilidades de transferir estos resultados a otras experiencias de participación y acción social y a la mejora de la educación ; Citizenship practice and learning is a key-question in societies assuming democratic ideals about participation and social justice. Citizenship is a dynamic and relational concept, and we learn it by practising it. From this approach, this research deals with the idea of 15M as a school of citizenship learning. To justify and exemplify this statement we have carried out a research based on in depth interviews to people involved in 15M in a meaningful and active way. We expose the concept of citizenship and citizenship learning to analyze the interviews results: motivations, experiences, learnings, emotions, links and networks. Finally, we discuss the limits and possibilities to transfer these results to other experiences of participation and social action and improve education

Hate speech is a specific form of expression targeting certain vulnerable or minority groups. It is a social phenomenon which has gained strength in recent years due to its normalisation from the public sphere and escalation on social media, particularly in contexts of crisis such as the circumstances that have arisen around COVID-19. This paper presents a systematic review of the scientific literature produced over the past two decades in English, Portuguese and Spanish as a tool to examine, from social science, the landscape of studies around one of the main threats democratic societies face today. In addition to an evidence-based idea of the state of the art, the results show a substantial increase of research into hate speech over the past five years and how focal points and disciplines have evolved from those approaches and are gaining in importance, along with the analysis of regulations and laws, computational linguistics and discourse analysis. Furthermore, the dearth of research from the field of communication and education is confirmed, which would allow us to examine not only its management and analyse its impact, but rather its understanding from critical pedagogical perspectives committed to the deepening and extension of democracy. ; Hate speech is a specific form of expression targeting certain vulnerable or minority groups.
