La representación política en Thomas Hobbes es cuestión de nuda designación. Un ejercicio con el lenguaje. El movimiento básico dentro del cuerpo de la Commonwealth es la designación de un oficial para el pueblo. Esta articulación teorética no es sin embargo suficientemente desarrollada. El objetivo del presente trabajo es sacar provecho de la ayuda que la cuádruple taxonomía sobre representación de A. P. Griffiths y R. Wollheim ofrece, y de la elucidación que presenta Michäel Foessel en torno a lo que es íntimo frente a lo que es privado/lo que es público, empleando ambas como instrumentos que pueden arrojar algo de luz a las intuiciones fundamentales de Hobbes reunidas en su obra principal, el Leviathan ; Political representation in Thomas Hobbes is a matter of bare designation. It is said the Elightenment is an underlined way of independence forThought and Existence. This sort of social, political, and scientifical revolutionprepares for the main revolution in 1789, but we have to paystrongly attention to the ideological path the epystemological thought iscarrying on, preceding the political one. Three metaphors set up in thischange: from axioms to data, from vision to touch and from mechanicismto organism. ; Se dice que la Ilustración es una forma resaltada de independencia tantopara el pensamiento como para la existencia. Esta clase de revolución política,social y científica prepara para la que fuera revolución principal de 1789,pero hemos de prestar gran atención a la senda que está continuando elpensar epistemológico que precede al político. Tres metáforas se disponenen este cambio: de los axiomas a los datos, de la visión al tacto, y del mecanismoal organismo.

RESUMENEl presente artículo trata de mostrar la evolución de una concepción del poder concreta que lleva de Hegel a Stirner a través del papel desempeñado por el individuo.
