Appropriate Site Development is one of the Greenship criteria for maintaining or expanding urban greenery in order to improve microclimate quality, decrease CO2 and other pollutants, avoid soil erosion, reduce drainage system loads, and keep the balance between clean water and groundwater systems. The GREENSHIP concept is a solution to the decline of the green spaces of Gianyar regency, which has been due to the construction of hotels and villas for tourism. The Government of Gianyar Regency in Bali Province is committed to applying the concept by planning Gianyar Public Market as the first public facility that uses the idea. The evaluation used mixed-methods, which incorporated a case study approach. Two key persons were interviewed. The collected interview data combined with the secondary data were processed with the GREENSHIP rating tools. Results of the evaluation show that, in the category of Appropriate Site Development, the planning of Gianyar Public Market obtains 41.18% points. Land Consolidation (LC), is the government's solution in land acquisition for development. In addition, LC aims to improve the quality of the environment by rearranging plots of land to be more organized and equipped with environmental infrastructure, as well as land tenure in accordance with land use plans. The location of the land consolidation area in Seminyak Village which is close to the center of government, economy and tourism has implications for land use in the area. The phenomenon of land use that occurs in this region tends to ignore the spatial planning that has been determined by the government. If this condition is left unchecked, there will be more violations of land use that are not in accordance with the spatial allocation, leading to spatial conflicts and clutter in regional spatial planning. This study aims to identify changes in land use in the area of land consolidation in the Seminyak Village and the dominant factors underlying the changes in land use. Qualitative methods are used to identify changes in land use, and these dominant factors. Primary data obtained from observations, direct documentation, and the results of interviews with informants determined by purposive sampling. The study aims to determine the most effective spatial setting for the fitness spots with pandemic mitigation in the city park of Puputan Badung Denpasar Bali as well as to identify various responses of human behavior in complying with health protocols. A mixed-method strategy was utilized, where a quantitative technique was used to determine the level of compliance. A qualitative inquiry with a case study method was also used to assess the influence of spatial attributes on human behavior. The respondents were selected using accidental sampling during peak times for a week. The sport activities observed were fitness, which was available in several spots of parks. Based on human behavior theories, the fitness space equipped with COVID-19 mitigation measures has not provided optimal stimuli to the people in complying with health protocols, leading to low compliance levels. The results of this study can be used as a reference to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing pandemic mitigation in the city park of Puputan Badung and other city parks with similar characteristics from an architectural perspective.
