The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are also known as drones. Recently, UAVs have attracted the next generation researchers due to their flexible, dynamic, and cost-effective deployment, etc. Moreover, the UAVs have a wide range of application domains, such as rescue operation in the remote area, military surveillance, emergency application, etc. Given the UAVs are appropriately deployed, the UAVs provide continuous and reliable connectivity, on-demand, and cost-effective features to the desired destination in the wireless communication system. Thus, the UAVs can be a great choice to deploy as a mobile relay in co-existence with the base stations (BSs) on the ground to serve the 5G wireless users. In this thesis, the UAV-assisted mobile relay (UAV-MR) in the next generation wireless networks has been studied, which also considers the UAV-MR physical layer security. The proposed system also considers one ground user, one BS on the ground, and active presence of multiple eavesdroppers, situated nearby the ground user. The locations of these nodes (i.e., the ground user, the BS, and the eavesdroppers) are considered fixed on the ground. Moreover, the locations of the eavesdroppers are not precisely known to the UAV-MR. Thus, this thesis aims to maximize the achievable secrecy rate, while the BS sends the secure information to the ground user via the UAV-MR. However, the UAV-MR has some challenges to deploy in wireless networks, such as 3D deployment, robust resource allocation, secure UAV-MR to ground communication, the channel modeling, the UAV-MR flight duration, and the UAV-MR robust trajectory design, etc. Thus, this project investigates the UAV-MR assisted wireless networks, which addresses those technical challenges to guarantee efficient UAV-MR communication. Moreover, the mathematical frameworks are formulated to support the proposed model. An efficient algorithm is proposed to maximize the UAV-MR achievable secrecy rate. Finally, the simulation results show the improved performance for the UAV-MR assisted next-generation networks.

Construction industry is one of the largest economic sector in the world in 2017. And Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the powerful set of technology to design, construction and management has been strengthen the construction industry. BIM has significant benefits for the project lifecycle even after it's lifecycle but this benefits can't gain by the project because of failure to successful implementation of BIM technology to the construction industry. The main objectives of this study is to identify the most crucial barrier to implementation of BIM and develop a relative rank with their relative impact on this issue. The study was conducted by a comprehensive literature review and necessary data was collected by literature review also. A set of barrier was developed by the literature review containing 37 barrier which curb the implementation of BIM technology to the construction sector. Relative rank based on their frequency and relative impact was calculate for each barrier identified in the literature review. The five most crucial barrier to the implementation of BIM are B17 (Social and habitual resistance to change), B19 (Traditional methods of contracting), B3 (Training expenses and the learning curve are too expensive), B20 (High cost of software purchasing) and B33 (Lack of awareness about BIM). And the five most impactful barrier are B19 (Traditional methods of contracting), B17 (Social and habitual resistance to change), B33 (Lack of awareness about BIM), B2 (Unavailability of proper training on BIM) and B28 (Lack of BIM experts). To gain the tremendous benefits of BIM technology, it is necessary to overcome the barrier based on priority with the help of government and all the stakeholder of project.

The Northeastern region of India presents a context where continuing insurgency and conflict of decades has given rise to a parallel polity of multiple languages of identity, ideology and imagination which exists alongside a constitutional legal polity and challenges the authority and legitimacy of Indian state. And most peace building initiatives on the part of Indian government have largely been attempts to address political aspects related to granting power through politics of Accords disregarding other stakeholders in the conflict. Such initiatives conducted at elite level generate dissatisfaction and mistrust and undermine the legitimacy of the process, resulting in the growth of parallel militant outfits by aggrieved groups. This paper show the problem of insurgency faced by Nagaland and Mizoram and I excluded other North-Eastern states because it is only Nagaland and Mizoram which suffered a lot from secessionist movement in North-East India. The concepts of depoliticization and politicization are opposite in nature but they coexist in the context of the Bangladeshi development paradigm. Civil society organizations (CSOs) are depoliticized in their working agenda and this is convenient for the state, the market and even for the CSOs themselves because they do not challenge anyone. Nevertheless, this position renders the CSOs more prone to politicization in accordance with party politics. Ultimately Bangladesh is suffering from the democratization process despite the huge number of CSOs. This study is based on an extensive survey of 1,005 CSOs in Dhaka, Bangladesh, conducted by means of structured questionnaires through direct interviews in 2006 and 2007. 要旨 非政治化と政治化の概念はまったく相反するものだが、バングラデシュの開発パラダイムの文脈では共存している。市民社会団体 (CSO) の活動方針は非政治的であり、そのことは国家、市場、さらにCSOそのものにとっても好都合である。なぜなら、誰かに反抗することはないからである。しかし、その立場はかえって、CSOが政党政治に迎合して、政治的になってしまう傾向をより強める。結局バングラデシュは、膨大な数のCSOがあるにもかかわらず、民主化のプロセスに苦しんでいる。本研究は、2006年と2007年に行った直接面談による構造化アンケートによって、ダッカ (バングラデシュ) の1,005のCSOを広範に調査した結果に基づく。

Robust public financial management (PFM) systems are crucial to ensure the efficacy and integrity of public health spending, thereby contributing to improved service coverage and financial protection, as required for achieving universal health coverage. A weak PFM system has impeded implementation of the Bangladesh health care financing strategy 2012-2032. This paper aims to identify and document major PFM challenges in relation to the interventions outlined in this strategy document, on the grounds that relaxing these constraints will strengthen implementation. Further, the study examines PFM barriers in service delivery, such as delays in fund availability and procurement and the lack of operational funds at the facility level. The paper points to a number of obstacles, including the absence of a legal framework for implementing a social health protection scheme, no laws to retain user fees at health facilities or to change financial rules to introduce flexible cash at facilities, district health managers without delegated financial power, noncompliance with audit observations, and need for PFM capacity strengthening. Short-, medium- and long-term actions are presented to address these PFM issues. Removing these barriers will not require significant additional resources, but will offer the potential to significantly enhance value for money for Bangladesh's government health budget.

This case study describes Bangladesh's success story using the standardized approach used by the Universal Health Coverage Studies Series (UNICO Studies Series) to provide a balanced account of the key pillars that lay behind the success of pluralism in the health system of Bangladesh. The aim is to recognize the contributions of the different actors (including the Government and the informal sector, which in the past have not been sufficiently recognized) and the strengths and weaknesses of these pillars as the needs and opportunities evolve due to emerging health issues. This lack of knowledge is an impediment to policy formulation and implementation aimed at maintaining the success of Bangladesh in the health sector. The case study suggests that there were four pillars to the successful pluralism that characterized Bangladesh: (a) effective prioritization of public financing on highly cost-effective interventions, (b) effective alignment of government and DP financing based on the mechanism of the SWAp, (c) extensive use of female CHWs and innovative NGOs, and (d) a large informal private sector that functions as a retailer of an unusually large and competitive domestic pharmaceutical industry. It should be acknowledged that determinants such as significant poverty reduction, education of girls, female labor force participation, and water and sanitation interventions outside the health sector also played a significant role in achieving better health outcomes.

Abstract Background Absence of cost-effectiveness (CE) analyses limits the relevance of large-scale nutrition interventions in low-income countries. We analyzed if the effect of invitation to food supplementation early in pregnancy combined with multiple micronutrient supplements (MMS) on infant survival represented value for money compared to invitation to food supplementation at usual time in pregnancy combined with iron-folic acid. Methods Outcome data, infant mortality (IM) rates, came from MINIMat trial (Maternal and Infant Nutrition Interventions, Matlab, ISRCTN16581394). In MINIMat, women were randomized to early (E around 9 weeks of pregnancy) or usual invitation (U around 20 weeks) to food supplementation and daily doses of 30 mg, or 60 mg iron with 400 μgm of folic acid, or MMS with 15 micronutrients including 30 mg iron and 400 μgm of folic acid. In MINIMat, EMMS significantly reduced IM compared to UFe60F (U plus 60 mg iron 400 μgm Folic acid). We present incremental CE ratios for incrementing UFe60F to EMMS. Costing data came mainly from a published study. Results By incrementing UFe60F to EMMS, one extra IM could be averted at a cost of US$907 and US$797 for NGO run and government run CNCs, respectively, and at US$1024 for a hypothetical scenario of highest cost. These comparisons generated one extra life year (LY) saved at US$30, US$27, and US$34, respectively. Conclusions Incrementing UFe60F to EMMS in pregnancy seems worthwhile from health economic and public health standpoints.
