Religious processes of Southern Bessarabia in 40-50s of the XX century ; Релігійні процеси у Південній Бессарабії в 40-х – на початку 50-х рр. ХХ ст
The study of past events, phenomena and socio-political processes were actualized by the completion of the process of the Communist Party's domination and the further development of independent Ukraine. Scientists of the 21stcentury have absolutely every opportunity to reproduce objectively historical events, to comprehend those pages of the past that were previously concealed or were not interpreted objectively.The article is devoted to the study of religious life on the territory of Southern Bessarabia in the 40-50s of the 20thcentury. Considerable attention is paid to the orientations of state religious and anti-religious policy during the period when the region was a part of the Kingdom of Romania and during the Soviet times. The article deals with the main waves of Sovietization of the region in the context of which the cruel repressive machine of the communist regime was active. Also, in this article are analyzed the main tasks and ways of realization of communist ideology in the Soviet Union, namely the political component that was aimed at destroyingspirituality, moral principles and nations' traditions. Moreover, the article outlines the methods and means of the Soviet communist government terror against the clergy of all denominations, in particular, total ideological pressure on believers, anti-religious propaganda, prohibition of religious publications printing, shutting and destruction of churches and monasteries, nationalization of all church lands, persecution and physical extermination of the clergy and their family members. The social component of the churches activity the Diocese of Cetatea Alba Ismail in 1941-1944, as well as the position of the clergy and common people to this activity, is determined in this article. The paper also touches upon the repression against the members of religious cults, such as Jehovah's Witnesses and Pentecostals. It should be mentioned that the article states that the anti-religious campaign in Ukraine was aimed not only at the destruction of churches and religious buildings, the physical extermination of priests, but also at the reorientation of folk culture, breaking of spiritual connection between generations. ; Завершення процесу домінування Комуністичної партії та подальша розбудова незалежної України, актуалізували дослідження подій, явищ і суспільно-політичних процесів минулого. Науковці ХХІ ст. мають абсолютно всі можливості об'єктивно відтворити історичні події, осмислити ті сторінки минулого, які раніше замовчувалися або заангажовано інтерпретувалися. Стаття присвячена дослідженню етнокультурного та релігійного життя на території Південної Бессарабії в 40-50 рр. хх ст. Значна увага приділена напрямкам державної релігійної та антирелігійної політики в період перебування регіону в складі Королівства Румунія та за радянські часи. Розкрито основні хвилі радянізації краю в контексті яких активною була жорстока репресивна машина комуністичного режиму. Проаналізовані основні завдання і напрями реалізації ідеології радянського комуністичного режиму, а саме політичну складову, спрямовану на нищення духовності, моральних принципів і традицій народів; методи та засоби терору радянської комуністичної влади проти духівництва усіх конфесій, зокрема, тотальний ідеологічний тиск на віруючих, антирелігійна пропаганда, заборона друкування релігійних видань, закриття і нищення церков та монастирів, націоналізація всіх церковних земель, переслідування і фізичне знищення священнослужителів та членів їх родин. Визначена соціальна складова діяльності церков єпархії Четатя-Алба-Ізмаїл в 1941-1944р., позиція священнослужителів та простих людей до цієї діяльності. Також в роботі представлені репресії проти представників релігійних культів, зокрема Свідків Єгови та п'ятидесятників. Показано, що антирелігійна кампанія в Україні мала на меті не лише руйнування церков та культових споруд, фізичне винищення священиків, а й переорієнтувати народну культуру, розірвати духовний зв'язок між поколіннями.
