Posthumanism; Hybridization; Ontology of Processes; Moral ExtensionismIt has been usual to criticize Posthumanism for being a purely hypothetical speculation with no connection with our technological and scientific possibilities. It is argued here, nonetheless, that recent developments for the production of different kinds of hybrids —like pig-human hybrids— open real possibilities for the Posthumanist program. Posthumanism should be taken seriously. In this work, we present the main lines of Posthumanist ontology and ethics, and also some reasons to resist its program for social and political transformation. ; Ha sido usual criticar el posthumanismo por ser una especulación puramente hipotética sin conexión con nuestras posibilidades técnicas y científicas. Se argumenta aquí, sin embargo, que los desarrollos recientes para la producción de diferentes tipos de híbridos —como híbridos de cerdohombre— abren posibilidades reales para el programa posthumanista. El posthumanismo debe ser tomado en serio. En este trabajo presentamos las líneas centrales de la ontología y la ética posthumanistas, y también algunas razones para resistir su programa de transformación social y política.
