Colombia is internationally recognized within the list of countries in conflict in the second oldest conflict on the planet [1]. The duration of this conflict and its intensity have been maintained close to 20% of the population in conditions of victimization [2]; it is estimated that investment in the country to contain violence corresponds to 30% of its GDP [3], that is, six times more than what is invested in education. The understanding and promotion of sexual and reproductive rights are essential in the social work profession, not only to improve the health status of affected populations but to advocate effectively for social justice and to respond to globalized realities. This article highlights the relevance of sexual and reproductive rights in the philosophical foundation and practice of social work, emphasizes the impact of reproductive health and rights on women's lives, and proposes a social work agenda that will embrace and promote sexual and reproductive rights. It uses policy statements from the International Federation of Social Workers as well as a human rights framework focused on sexual and reproductive rights that stems from the global feminist movement.

Recently, many mobilisations have emerged all around the world and their impact on social change has been noteworthy. In this paper we shall review the evolution of the latest models of collective action in order to better understand current challenges in the field of political protest. Scholars have suggested that identity, grievances, efficacy, and anger are the relevant motives for prompting action. Nonetheless, there is still some room for improvement. In addition to previous variables, there is enough argumentation to include others which have been overlooked by the hegemony of instrumental logic; we are talking about moral obligation and positive emotions. There is a deontological logic in collective protest that can explain why individuals do not simply participate to obtain some kind of benefit; they may also feel morally obligated to do so. Moreover, positive emotions, such as hope, pride or optimism, can reinforce motivation. Another important aspect is the role of context. The specific characteristics of the political and the mobilising context may differently activate some motives or others. All these new contributions question the hegemony of the instrumental logic and demand an update of the theoretical approaches. The authors discuss the implications for theory and future research on collective action. ; Recientemente han surgido muchas movilizaciones por todo el mundo y su impacto a la hora de producir el cambio social es de destacar. The goal of this study is to explore a set of psychosocial variables that may contribute to the constructive transformation of a violent sociopolitical conflict. Based upon several authors in Social and Political Psychology, we propose an analysis of the conflict through thirteen variables. These variables are stated from the perspective of the non-combatant population within the context of a real armed conflict. The variables are related to beliefs about the conflict's actors, perceptions of threat, confidence and costs, ethnocentric attitudes and interaction preferences with the adversaries. An attitude towards the conflict questionnaire was created and applied, with acceptable psychometric indexes. It confirms thirteen dimensions adjusted to the initial proposal ; El objetivo de este estudio es explorar un conjunto de variables psicosociales que podrían contribuir a la transformación constructiva de un conflicto sociopolítico violento. Basados en diversos autores de la psicología social y política, proponemos un análisis del conflicto a través de trece variables. Dichas variables se plantean desde la perspectiva de la población no combatiente que está dentro de un contexto de conflicto armado real. Las variables corresponden a creencias sobre los actores del conflicto; percepciones de amenaza, confianza y costes; actitudes etnocéntricas; y preferencias de interacción con los adversarios. Se elaboró y aplicó un cuestionario de disposición frente al conflicto, cuyos índices psicométricos fueron aceptables, y confirman trece dimensiones que se ajustan a la propuesta teórica inicial

Collective action and protest have become a normalized political behavior that in many cases defines the political agenda. The reasons why people take to the streets constitute a central subject within the study of social psychology. In the literature, three precedents of protest that have been established as central to the study of this phenomenon are: injustice, efficacy, and identity. But political action is also deeply related to moral values. This explains why in recent years some moral constructs have also been pointed out as predictors of collective action. Moral variables have been introduced into the literature with little consideration to how they relate to each other. Thus, work in this direction is needed. The general aim of this research is to differentiate moral obligation from moral norms and moral conviction, as well as to compare their ability to predict collective action. In order to do so, the research objectives are: (a) conceptualize and operationalize moral obligation (Study 1, N = 171); (b) test its predictive power for intention to participate in protests (Study 2, N = 622); and (c) test moral obligation in a real context (Study 3, N = 407). Results are encouraging, showing not only that moral obligation is different to moral conviction and moral norm, but also that it is a more effective predictor working both for intention and real participation. This work therefore presents moral obligation as a key precedent of protest participation, prompting its future use as a variable that can enhance existing predictive models of collective action. Results regarding other variables are also discussed.

Having overcome the prejudice that equated emotion with irrationality, collective action theories are beginning to incorporate emotional variables. Nonetheless, these are restricted to negative ones, fundamentally anger. This is due to the fact that collective action is associated exclusively with protest, when this does not necessarily have to be the case. The aims of the present work are twofold: a) to analyse the structure of emotions with regard to the Spanish Government's decision to negotiate with ETA; and b) to verify the impact of these emotions and of ideology on the intention to participate in demonstrations supporting or protesting against said decision. The results show that emotions can be organised into three factors: anger, enthusiasm and anxiety. Anger and enthusiasm account for a high percentage of variance in the attention to demonstrate. Ideology, although to a lesser extent, also has a significant influence ; Después de superado el prejuicio que equiparaba emoción con irracionalidad, las teorías de la acción colectiva empiezan a incorporar las variables emocionales. Pero las acciones colectivas también pueden ser proactivas. Por este motivo, en esta investigación nos propusimos un doble objetivo: a) analizar la organización de diferentes emociones en relación a la decisión del Gobierno de España de negociar con ETA y b) conocer la incidencia de esas emociones y de la ideología, en la intención de participar en acciones de apoyo o protesta a dicha decisión. Los resultados muestran que las emociones se organizan en tres factores: ira, entusiasmo y ansiedad. La ira y el entusiasmo explican un porcentaje muy elevado de la varianza de la intención de movilizarse. La ideología, aunque en menor medida, también muestra un peso significativo

In this study, two questions are analyzed: (1) what theemotions provoked by the Spanish government's declarationof its intention to negotiate a peace process with the terroristgroup ETA are; (2) how these emotions relate to differentattitudes to this negotiation. A questionnaire was appliedto a sample of 263 university students. A confirmatoryfactor analysis was conducted to verify how emotions wereorganized and an ANOVA was subsequently conducted toanalyze the relationship between emotions and attitudesto negotiation. With respect to the first question, theemotions which are linked to the negotiation process areclassified in a three factor model (enthusiasm, anger andanxiety), and with respect to the second, it became clearthat the emotion of anger is associated with subjects whoare against negotiation. At the same time, enthusiasmand anxiety were associated with different attitudes tonegotiation, support and rejection respectively; however,both these emotions were also found to be present amongthose who wanted the different political parties to reachan agreement and face the process of negotiation with acommon policy.

En un contexto permeado por varios procesos de justicia transicional y aún afectado por dinámicas de violencia, este artículo analiza dimensiones psicosociales vinculadas al perdón y a la memoria en experiencias de integrantes de organizaciones sociales víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano, para conocer y explorar procesos cognitivos, emocionales y actitudinales que limitan y que facilitan el perdón. Se desarrolló una metodología mixta con dos estudios en los departamentos del Atlántico y Caldas. En el primero se aplicó un diseño fenomenológico para descubrir ideas y emociones sobre memoria y perdón en líderes de colectivos de víctimas; en el segundo se implementó un diseño no experimental para analizar la interacción entre tres factores que explican la disposición al perdón (DP): resentimiento duradero (RD), sensibilidad a las circunstancias (SC) y perdón incondicional (PI). El estudio cualitativo evidenció sentidos alrededor de la memoria que limitan el perdón (RD, creencias de víctimas exclusivas y obstáculos percibidos para la eficacia de medidas de justicia transicional) y resignificaciones de la memoria que lo favorecen (comprensión del conflicto, creencias de víctimas inclusivas, memoria vinculada a la justicia transicional y PI). El estudio cuantitativo indicó que la SC explica el PI, mientras que el RD constituye un obstáculo. Se avanza hacia la comprensión de la relación entre memoria y perdón en escenarios de transición, que devela desafíos para la gestión constructiva de la memoria en clave de perdón, la intervención del RD, y el desarrollo de la SC a favor del perdón en la escala local y regional, no solo nacional.
